A very rare French silver open-faced key-wound quarter repeating pocket watch with a double-wheel Debaufre-type escapementBy Louis Tavernier, Paris, circa 1810The case with plain band, ring pendant and glass covers, push/repeat at 2 o'clock, with silver engine-turned dial with Roman chapters, enclosing an engine-turned centre with small rectangular signature block beneath the XII signed L. TAVERNIER, blued steel Breguet moon hands, the gilt Lepine calibre movement, plain steel three-armed balance, sprung 'parachute' balance jewel, quarter repeat on two polished steel gongs of rectangular section53 mm diam.Louis Tavernier (1754-1840), was the son of the renoned watchmaker Jean-Louis Tavernier and worked closely with Abraham-Louis Breguet. He is recorded as Mâitre in 1788, appointed Horologer du duc d'Orleans in 1790, he was at Rue Richelieu and was succeeded by Hury in 1820. Debaufre-type frictional rest escapements in a Lepine calibre are extremely rare as usually they are found only in a full-plate movement. Here, in its quality of design and execution, Tavernier has produced a masterpiece to parallel the work of Breguet, in whose circle he worked.

A George IV Silver Snuff-Box, by Edward Smith, Birmingham, 1829, oblong, the hinged cover cast and chased in high relief with a stag hunting scene, depicting three mounted riders and a pack of hounds in a rural landscape pursing a stag, with cast foliage border, the base and sides engine turned, the base further engraved with initials, 10cm wide, 7oz 2dwt. Part marked inside cover and base. There marks have some minor wear but are generally legible. There are some minor surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use.

MESSERSCHMITT KR200 DELUXE BUBBLE CAR - MICRO CAR a Messerschmitt KR200 Deluxe two seater bubble car, 1957, and with the registration 'UNA 250'. With a mileage of 24953. With a 200cc engine, Chassis Number 62013, Engine Number 2104851, first registered on the 26/03/57 (only one previous owner from new). Also with various items used on display at Bicton, including framed prints of Messerschmitt's, Owners Manuals, photographs of Reg with the Messerschmitt etc. *The Messerschmitt KR200 or Kabinenroller (Cabin Scooter) is a three wheeled bubble car designed by the aircraft engineer Fritz Fend, and produced in the factory of the aircraft manufacturer Messerschmitt from 1955-1964. It was part of the Reg Imray (1922-2017) collection, a WW2 veteran who amassed a large collection of Motorbikes and other vehicles, which were displayed at Bicton Gardens and the World of Country Life. Reg was deaf from birth, and started collecting motorbikes from an early age. During the war he worked in an R.A.F factory making De Haviland Aeroplanes, and later became a Speedway rider known as the Raleigh Rocket This vehicle was on display at Bicton Gardens near Exmouth from 2012. *New V5C vehicle registration document has now arrived. Not with a current .M.O.T.

Charles G Fullerton signed 10x8 colour crew STS-3 photo. (October 11, 1936 - August 21, 2013) was a United States Air Force colonel, a USAF and NASA astronaut, and a research pilot at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Facility, Edwards, California. His assignments included a variety of flight research and support activities piloting NASA's B-52 launch aircraft, the Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA), and other multi-engine and high performance aircraft. Fullerton, who logged more than 380 hours in space flight, was a NASA astronaut from September 1969 until November 1986 when he joined the research pilot office at Dryden. In July 1988, he completed a 30-year career with the U.S. Air Force and retired as a colonel. He continued in his position of NASA research pilot as a civilian. Fullerton and his wife and their two children lived in Lancaster, California. Dedicated. Good condition Est.
