An interesting cover which most likely was intended for the attempted Botwood to Halifax flight, the Halifax mail was sent by rail to Botwood on November 27 but the flight was delayed until December 10 when after 95 miles engine trouble forced the plane to land at Deer Lake. The plane returned to Botwood & the mail was sent to Halifax by surface means when the backstamp was addedCountry: NEWFOUNDLAND
