A 1978 Honda CB750/F4 K6, registration number WNM 655S, frame number CB750-2578479, engine number CB750E-2468269, maroon. Honda?s CB750/F4 is highly sort after and regarded by collectors today for their trend setting design and technical achievements in a production motorcycle. With their four cylinder inline engine, disc front brake, five speed gearbox, electric start and distinctive four silencer exhaust, they instantly made the opposition obsolete overnight and are truly an iconic design. This original British supplied 750/F4 has covered a believed 55000 miles from new and has been in the current ownership since 1995. Over the last few years the Honda has seen less and less use covering a small annual mileage which has reluctantly made our vendor take the decision to sell the Honda. A 2002 Volkswagen 1600 trike, registration number Q197 PAE, frame number SABTVR03722133313, engine number AD063053, silver. This very striking VW trike was purchased by our vendor in 2007 as a project. Since then a considerable amount of time and effort has been lavish upon it over a ten year period to create the finished machine you see today. The trike was completed in 2017 and has been in storage since. Powered by a VW 1600cc fully dressed Beetle engine, the body is constructed from stainless steel and seating is taken care of with three high back Cobra sports seats. Our vendor, an octogenarian gentleman, has taken the decision to sell the trike as he feels that he is not going to use the machine and now wants someone else to benefit from his hard work and expense. A 1999 Kawasaki ZX750R P3 Ninja, registration number S297 VOR, frame number JKAZX750PPA026692, engine number ZX750NE019977, red. Kawasaki's ZX750R was part of the Ninja series of sports bikes. They featured inline 16 valve DOHC inline four engines, twin spar aluminium frame and Unitrack rear suspension. The ZX750R was in production between 1996-2003 and saw little development during the production run. This original ZX750R has covered less than 5000 miles from new. The Kawasaki was supplied by Park Road Powerbikes to its first owner Mr Roy Cotterwell for £7276.58 (original bill of sale on file). Mr Cotterwell would retain ownership until our vendor purchased it direct from him in March 2017. There is a good history file which accompanies the Kawasaki including the aforementioned original bill of sale, a product improvement notification recall letter (April 2000), receipts including a bill for recommissioning works and its last MOT for £778.29, previous MOTs, tax discs and the original rider's information pack containing the owner's manual, warranty and service record with seven stamps. A 1933 Coventry-Eagle J18, registration number XSY 390, frame number 70193, engine number CY 3339, red/black. Coventry-Eagle like a lot of other manufacturers started life as a maker of quality bicycles, in turn branching out into motorcycle production with a range encompassing two strokes from a humble 98cc to the mighty Flying 8 1,000cc V-Twin, which was very much a direct competitor to the Brough Superior. This charming J18 has been restored to a high standard. Power is supplied by a Villiers twin port 150cc two stroke which drives through an Albion gearbox. The motorcycle features a pressed steel frame and has formed part of a small private collection. A 1971 Rajdoot Ranger, registration number XEU 50K, frame number TT5051/12000-74751, engine number 111/51-74165, red. This rare Indian has formed part of a small collection. The Ranger joined the collection in the hot summer of 1976 and was restored in 2013. Displaying a believed genuine 6000 kilometres from new on the odometer, this rare two stroke would certainly be a different exhibit at any classic motorcycle event. A 1937 New Imperial Model 46 De-Luxe, registration number HL 8578, frame number 35307, engine number 43210, maroon/chrome. New Imperial were unsurpassed for innovation during the 1930's introducing models with full unitary construction of the engine and gearbox and pivoted fork rear suspension to name just a few innovations. They also found great success in competition, with one of their many successes being the last British built machine to win the lightweight 250 TT (in 1936). The 350 cc Model 46 was introduced in 1936 along side its 250 cc Model 36 stable mate. They both featured new overhead valve unit construction engines. Initially they were both built with rigid frames, for 1937 the De-Luxe gained sprung rear frames, foot change gearbox, mag-dynamo ignition/lighting, chrome plated fuel tank and valance mudguards. This Model 46 De-Luxe was built in 1937 and was first registered in December 1939. A matching numbers machine which has been rebuilt by our vendor from a basket case, retaining as much originality as possible, but will require some final fettling. Noteworthy works carried out included the rebuilding of the engine with new big and main bearings, re-bore with new piston and rings, reconditioned oil pump, rebuilt magneto, new Burlem Amal carburettor, new exhaust downpipes and silencers, powder coated frame, rebuilt wheels with new bearings, stainless steel spokes and new tubes and tyres, plus numerous other components. A 1926 Helyett 175cc single, registration number BF 6794, frame number 146, engine number 155, orange/black. Les Ateliers Helyett was a premier manufacturer of bicycles and motorcycles from 1926 to 1955. The factory was situated in the French town of Sully-sur-Loire, where before WWII the selection of both single small two stroke and large V-Twin engine machines were made using proprietary engines. This charming 175cc two stroke single is an extremely rare flat tanker which has been restored by the previous owner to a high standard. The Helyett was purchased as a very original complete barn find. During the restoration, work carried out included an engine rebuild, stove enamelling of the frame, repainting of the tank and tinwork, and nickel plating of components. Starting readily on our inspection to take the catalogue images, the machine sounded healthy and will be an ideal candidate to take part in the VMCC Banbury Run. A 1936 BSA New Blue Star Q21 project, registration number HV 6760, frame number D 63058, engine number D21598, green/black. The New Blue Star Q21 is one of the rarest BSA models only being produced for one year (1936/37 ). They featured the 4.96hp OHV engine with high compression piston, special cam, twin upswept exhausts, instrument fuel tank panel, Amal carburettor and foot gear change. This delightful oily rag barn find project comes direct from a private collection. The machine would appear complete in all major respects and is ripe for a sympathetic or full restoration depending on your point of view. A 1972 Triumph Trophy Adventurer Trials TR5T, registration number EVN 803L, frame number TR5T PH19379, engine number TR5T PH19379, red/silver. The Triumph Trail or Adventurer as it was known in the UK, became available in 1973 and would remain available within the Triumph range until 1974. They featured the 500cc parallel twin from the previous T100C mated to the BSA scramble type frame to create a scramble style bike. This restored TR5T was originally manufactured on 15th December 1972 and despatched to Triumph Corporation, Baltimore, USA. This matching numbers machine has been restored by our vendor incorporating a rebuilt engine with Daytona head, new pistons, rings, reground crank, big ends and valves, powder coated frame, new brake tubes, new rear shock absorbers, rebuilt front forks with correct stanchions, new wiring loom, new carburettor, new exhaust with downpipes and silencer, new tyres and tubes, new electronic ignition and power box, resprayed tank and numerous other components. A 1960 Cotton Cougar trials, registration number 889 XVD, engine number 544B/305, Maroon/aluminium. Founded in 1919 by FW Cotton in Gloucester, the Cotton machines were known in the 1920s and 30s for their triangulated construction frames powered by JAP and Blackburn engines. They found some success on the track including winning the prestigious Junior TT at the IOM in 1923 . After WWII they continued producing both competition and road bikes featuring Villiers and Anzani two stoke engines finding further competition success in both trials and scrambles. This road registered Cougar is presented in restored condition and features a rebuilt Villiers 9E engine, a bespoke aluminium fuel tank, aluminium front and rear mudguards and high level exhaust. Said to be running well the Cougar will be offered for auction with a current MOT even though it does not legally require one and a V5C. This well presented twin shock trials is now ready for the next owner to enjoy both in competition and on the road. A 1919 Calthorpe JAP 292cc, registration number SV 7067, frame number E 3642, engine number U349, Black. New for 1919 the JAP engined lightweight was the first offering from the newly formed Calthorpe company as prior to WWI the company had traded as The Minstrel & Rea Cycle Company. From the first year of production this beautifully restored example comes direct from a deceased estate were it formed part of a small private collection of restored pre and post WWII machines. Having seen little use recently the Calthorpe would benefit from some light recommissioning before resuming road duties. A 1920 ABC 398cc, registration number AU 4486, frame number 1849, engine number, 1771, black. The Granville Bradshaw advanced designed ABC was produced by the Sopwith Aircraft Company. A groundbreaking design which drew heavily on Bradshaw's air cooled aero engine experience during WWI. The engine was an overhead valve flat Twin with integral four speed gearbox and the frame featured a duplex loop with sprung front and rear folks. An advanced bike in its day it was a record breaker setting the one hour record at Brooklands at an average speed of 70.44 mph ridden by JLE Emerson. This beautifully presented and restored ABC comes direct from a deceased estate. It is a well equipped example with leather saddlebags, foot boards and lighting. A 1961 Velocette Venom, registration number 566 COX, frame number RS15278, engine number VM 4497, black. Introduced in 1956 the Venom would remain in production until 1970. Exquisitely engineered they epitomise the very best of the British sports single and are highly prized by enthusiasts today for their performance and engineering integrity. A 1927 AJS K2 799cc V-Twin combination, registration number MW 1040, frame number K61002, engine number K2/45939, black. AJS founded in 1909 by the Stevens Brothers in Wolverhampton manufactured a range of quality machines. The first V-Twin was added to the model range in 1922 in 631cc configuration. A V-Twin would then form part of their range going through various capacity increases right into the early 1930s finally finishing with the 998cc version. This fine K2 combination comes direct from a deceased estate. Painstaking restored to an extremely good standard it had formed part of a cherished private collection. The AJS has seen little use recently so it is advised that some light recommissioning is undertaken before taking the combination on the road. EXTRA LOT: A 1928 Matchless T3 500cc, registration number UO 5773, frame number 3689, engine number T3/ 3055, black and white. UO 5773 has been in the current family ownership (father and two sons) since 1995. Fully restored to a show standard in the late 1990s, the Matchless still presents very well and could still be exhibited today. A well equipped machine it features full acetaldehyde lighting, leather saddle bags and nickel plating throughout. The accompanying history contains a run of previous MOTs and DVLA documents. A 1955 Triumph Tiger T110, registration number NAX 787, frame number S63779, engine number T11063779, Shell blue. The Tiger T110 was Triumph’s top model in 1955, with a top speed of 110 mph. They featured unit construction with a 650cc OHC vertical twin engine with alloy cylinder head, a four speed gearbox, Amal carburettors and a 120 mph Smiths concentric speedometer. This T110 has been in long term storage forming part of a small collection of British motorcycles. The Triumph is offered direct from a deceased estate and will require recommissioning. A 1958 AJS 16MS, registration number 84 BFH, frame number 016117, engine number 57/16MS31542, black. Associated Motorcycles dominated the heavyweight 350cc single market of the 1950s with the AJS 16M/MS and the Matchless G3L stablemate which were to all intents and purposes identical apart from the badging. Both models had adequate performance with top speeds just shy of 80 mph and nearly 90 mpg fuel economy. This particular 16MS comes direct from a deceased estate where it has formed part of a collection since 1982. A 1960 Norton Dominator 99 600cc, registration number VCJ 844, frame number R1487865, engine number 87865, red/cream. Introduced in 1956 to complement the 88 500cc model, the new 99 had 100 mph performance with road holding to match. Initially available with the wideline featherbed frame, in 1960 both models would benefit from the new slimline frame which was used until the production run finishing in 1970. This matching numbers 99 from the first year of slimline production still retains its original registration number and comes direct from a deceased estate where it formed part of a small collection. A 1956 Ariel HS, registration number OOU 840, frame number PRS 220, engine number MH205, maroon/chrome. The Ariel HS (scrambler) and HT (trials) were competition versions of the Red Hunter. Introduced to the Ariel range in 1954 the HS featured a 500cc 9:1 high compression all alloy single engine with special camshaft, heavy duty valve springs, Lucus competition Magneto and Amal TT carburettor, all of these upgrades produced a powerful 40bhp machine. This rare matching numbers HS has been meticulously restored by its owner. Starting from a complete basket case everything was attended to with the restoration being completed in 2011. Since then approximately 10,000 miles have been covered attending shows and local touring. Still presented in good condition the Ariel started readily on our inspection to take the catalogue images and sounded very healthy (see video). A 1970 Triumph T100C Trophy, registration number KRK 321H, frame number T100C-3643, engine number T100C-3643, Jacaranda purple. Like the majority of Triumph Trophy's, this machine was exported to the lucrative USA market and returned to these shores in 1981. A matching numbers bike it has been fully restored to a high standard, retaining correct 7 inch twin leading shoe front brake and the often lost barbecue grill exhaust heat shield. Since the completion of the restoration our Octogenarian vendor has only used the Triumph on one occasion putting a very modest 39 miles on the odometer. After that maiden ride he took the decision to drain all fluids from the motorcycle and put it in storage because he found the Triumph to powerful and heavy to handle. The motorcycle will now require some light recommissioning and the usual checks before taking to the road. This restored T100C will be offered for auction with a history file.
