Lt Edwin HELLER 486th Fighter Sqn flew the P-51 Mustang in September 1944. The 52 cm x 40 cm Print was the work of the popular Carl LAUNCHBURY. The Mustang was excellent at low level. It was not good at altitude. This disadvantage was overcome by the fitting of the Rolls Royce Merlin engine. Now the Mustang could outclass all other aircraft. 5000+ enemy aircraft were destroyed and the P-51 Mustang Was the most successful aircraft of WW-2.
A George V silver razor box, with engine turned decoration, crested, with a fitted interior containing a set of six straight razors, labelled for each day of the week (Monday missing), Asprey & Co, London 1912 Condition report Report by GHTwo to three dents on the body and some small scratches. Crest quite heavily rubbed. The leather visible underneath is slightly concave. Internally, the gilt layer is a little rubbed and scratched. The razors are generally a little rusty and the interior divisions are tatty and threadbare. The Monday razor has been replaced with an inferior straight razor.
