A Louis XVI style gilt brass and white marble mantel timepiece, unsigned, early 19th century, the circular three pillar single fusee movement with anchor escapement and circular white enamel Arabic numeral dial with fine engraved and pierced gilt brass hands set behind convex bevel glazed hinged engine-turned bezel, the case with urn surmount above laurel cast apron around the dial supported on a demi-lune colonnade with pineapple finials and platform base decorated with milled gilt brass band insert, on ring-turned bun feet, 39cm (15.5ins) high.
