An early gents Rolex manual wind wrist watch, the engine turned movement signed 'Rolex 15 Jewels Swiss Made', the 20mm. silvered Roman dial with red XII and blued steel hands, the 25mm. octagonal case stamped 'Rolex 9C Swiss W&D 813935', inscribed and dated 1919 to case back.* Condition: Winds and runs. Dial good with just very minor marks. A few scratches to glass. Lacks strap. Case has minor tool marks from opening and small acid test spot to bezel.
An Edwardian silver half hunter fob wind pocket watch, hallmarked Chester 1902, with 42mm. white Roman enamel dial with sub. seconds, 51mm. engine turned case with crest to case back, gilt three quarter plate lever movement, No.75299, signed for the retailer 'E. W. Bachmann & Co. Guernsey'. * Condition: Winds and runs. Dial VG. Case good - slight ding to front. Front cover detached - solder on hinge has given way. Should be an easy repair.
Two extremely rare WWII German ID Recognition planes - Jersey Occupation interest, the wooden black painted (silhouette) aeroplanes would have been used by German artillery personal during the Occupation as teaching aids, the gunman needing to identify their own aeroplanes from a distance to stop friendly fire, the first a Junkers Ju 90, a 40-seat four-engine airliner developed for and used by Deutsche Luft Hansa, based on the rejected Ju 89 Bomber, measuring 20¼in. (51.5cm.) long, the wingspan 27in. (68.5cm.), the wing stamped to underside 'JU90'; the second a Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor (known as Kurier by the allied forces), an all metal four-engine monoplane, used as a long range patrol, reconnaissance, patrol bomber and transport aircraft, the aeroplane 18½in. (47cm.) long, the wingspan 26in. (66cm.), the wing stamped to underside 'FW200'. (2) * The planes were recently discovered in a Jersey farm building at St Ouen, very close to an Occupation era artillery battery.
A George III silver vinaigrette, Thomas Phipps & Edward Robinson, London, 1805, of canted - rectangular form, decorated with an elegant engraved design, the hinged gilt grille with ornate pierced floral decoration amidst a semi-circle, bordered by an engine-turned surround, inscribed to cover, 1¾in. (4.5cm.) long, weight 1.12 tr.oz.**Condition: In excellent condition, with strong hinges, the inner maker's mark slightly rubbed.
An Art Deco silver cigarette case, S J Rose & Son, London, 1929, of rectangular form with canted edges and engine-turned sunburst decoration, the hinged cover opening to reveal a gilt washed interior, yellow strap and original Lucky Strike cigarettes, together with a further pocket cigarette case, inscribed, and a vesta case, weight 8.8 tr.oz. An early 9ct gold cased Rolex gents wrist watch, c.1920, the engine turned movement signed 'Rolex 15 Jewels Swiss Made', the 21mm. silvered Roman dial within a 25mm. square cushion shaped case stamped 'Rolex W&D 9K 823878 Swiss'; together with another 9ct gents manual wind wrist watch, c.1920, Swiss movement, 28mm. white enamel Roman dial with red XII, 30mm. circular case. (2)* Condition: Rolex winds and runs. The hour hand is broken and partially missing. Dial good, but light deterioration to finish around lumed dots. Wear to bevelled edge of glass. Small ding to bezel. Otherwise case good.Other watch - Winds and runs. Three hairline cracks to dial. Plastic 'glass' yellowed. Hands rusty. Case good with minor tool marks.
A gold three coloured fusee lever pocket watch by Thomas Pinnington of Liverpool, gilt key wound movement with Massey escapement, foliate engraved balance cock inscribed 'Patent' with diamond endstone, signed 'THOs. PINNINGTON Liverpool 1265', dust cover, fronted by a triple colour dial with applied Roman numerals, engine turned centre and embossed floral border, the 18ct gold case, hallmarked Thomas Helsby & Co., Chester 1823, with all-over repoussé decoration of flower, foliage and fruit, 47mm. diameter, with key.* Condition: Runs only briefly - possibly simply requires cleaning and oiling. Overall in VG condition - no damage or faults to dial or case. No repairs noted.
A gold Swiss open face quarter repeating musical pocket watch by Duchene et Fils, c.1820, the gilt movement with two standing barrels and cylinder escapement, repeating on gongs by depressing pendant, playing music at will or on the hour by means of sur plateau mechanism, gilt cuvette signed 'L's Duchene & fils No. 93305', the engine turned and foliate chased gold dial with black Arabic numerals on white enamel reserves and enamel outer minute track, blued-steel hands, within an engine turned 18ct gold case, 56mm. diameter, with key.* Provenance: Believed purchased at Christies NY, 27th April 1992, Lot 25.** Condition: Winds and runs. Repeat mechanism working correctly. Case and dial VG.

English case with engine turned back and chased foliate borders, hallmarked London, date mark rubbed, c.1870, the key wind fusee movement signed 'M Le Couteur No.179, the 39mm. three colour gold dial with Roman numerals and decorative floral border, lacks glass, with key and morocco case (a/f).* Condition: Lacks glass. Winds and runs. A few tiny dings to back. Case otherwise very good. Dial and movement good.
A fine Art Deco silver and guilloche enamel powder compact, Adie Brothers Ltd, Birmingham, 1935, of square form, with a jadeite and marcasite applied jewel mounted to sunburst green enamel panel, the slopping sides divided by silver bamboo effect stringing, opening to reveal mirror to lid and powder puff compartment to base, engine turned back, 2 7/8in (7.3cm.) square, gross weight 3.7 tr.oz. *Condition: flea-bite nibble and hairline to top left enamel sunburst (have to look through magnifier), applied jewel loose, jadeite with corner damage, marcasite trim missing (doesn't detract)

An 18ct gold, black & white enamel ladies pendant watch by Leroy & Fils, French, 19th century, key wind gilt lever movement, gold cuvette signed 'No. 15288 Leroy & Fils Hgers du Roi a Paris', fronted by an engine turned silvered dial with black enamel Roman numerals, sunburst to centre, the case enamelled in black and white with flowers and foliage, 34mm. diameter, with key.* Condition: Winds but runs only briefly for a couple of seconds. Dial good, with a few tiny nicks from enamel on numerals. A few tiny nicks to glass. Some losses to enamel to bottom of case back just above hinge (probably due to the back being opened too far). Tiny enamel chip to bezel. Some wear to enamel on fob loop from use.
