A ladies' Victorian 18ct gold open face pocket watch, crown wind with an engine-turned face set with Roman numerals and blue steel hands, the case by Isaac Jabez Theo Newsome, Chester 1886, chased back with central shield with the initials 'SJ' surrounded with a repeating fancy design, movement numbered 98216, diameter 4cm, total gross weight approx 47.5g. Circular pique work box is in overall good condition, gilding slightly worn to interior. Photo frame/menu holder looks to have some glued repairs to hold veneer in place but overall is structurally sound, one chip top left.
