RARE DUNHILL GOLD LIGHTER/WATCH a 9ct gold Dunhill lighter with a roller mechanism and straight hinged arm, with an engine turned case and the watch dial with gilt Arabic numerals. Marked on the dial, Dunhill, Swiss, and marked for 9ct gold in various places on the outside and inside. Marked inside, Patent Applied For, 598, and also marked underneath Dunhill, Switzerland, Canada and English Patent Numbers. Marked for London, 1927. 4.5cms high

GOLD CUFFLINKS of octagonal shape with engine turned decoration, 4.6 grams, together with a pair of 9ct. gold cut cornered rectangular-shaped cufflinks with engine turned decoration, 9.1 grams, a pair of 9ct. three colour gold oval shaped cufflinks, 2.0 grams, a cased set of three 9ct. gold dress studs, 2.6 grams, a pair of enamel and gilt cufflinks and six mother-of-pearls dress buttons.
DEAKIN & FRANCIS; a George V hallmarked silver shaped oval jewellery box with fluted corners and hinged engine turned decorated lid centred with a vacant circular cartouche, on four outswept legs with hoof feet, Birmingham 1910, length 13cm, approx 7.3ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition, some surface wear and dirt commensurate with age, some minor scratches and dints, predominantly to the lid, mild rubbing to the engine turned decoration, the lid sits correctly, the hallmarks to the outside to the lid are heavily rubbed, the box is slightly wobbly.
ADOLPH SCOTT LTD; a George V hallmarked silver rectangular cigarette case with engine turned decoration and initialled 'SAB', Birmingham 1933, 8.2 x 9.5cm, approx 4.1ozt. CONDITION REPORT: General wear and tear throughout, scratches, nicks and gouges, the initialling somewhat faint, some dents also.
A group of variously hallmarked silver topped dressing table jars to include two globular shaped pairs, one by Adie & Lovekin Ltd, Birmingham 1899, height 5.5cm, also a rectangular engine turned decorated example, Birmingham 1920, and a pair of Canadian sterling silver topped peppers, Roden Bros, Toronto (13). CONDITION REPORT: All with general wear commensurate with age, the pair by Adie & Lovekin heavily rubbed through to the lid caused by over cleaning, other examples with similar issues, all with tarnish, the majority with dints and general surface wear with nibbles to edges.
WILLIAM FRANCIS GARRUD; a Victorian hallmarked silver five strand chatelaine with cast and pierced female mask arabesque decorated clip and foliate scroll and figural links suspending various objects including a squat fluted tape measure case decorated with a guitar player, Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1888, a vesta case, George Unite, Birmingham 1875, a scent bottle, Edwin Culver, London 1876, and a notepad case, Heinrich Levinger, Birmingham 1900, 5 x 3.5cm, total length 32cm, combined approx 7.55ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Main body of chatelaine is in good condition with only minor traces of wear commensurate with age and some tarnish, some casting imperfections to the back and the hinge of the clip is slightly loose, the links appear to be intact and complete. Tape measure action no longer works and the aperture is misshapen with severe splits, numerous small dints along the central section. The notepad case with scratches and some minor dints throughout the body, the top cover is misshapen and there is a dint to one of the edges and an area of one of the corners. The top aperture of pencil slot is misshapen with splits, notepad doesn't open and it appears that there is something stuck in the pencil aperture. The propelling pencil case with lid is loose, minor rubbing throughout. Acorn shaped thimble case in generally good but with areas of heavier tarnish. Velvet lining needs attention, and the contained thimble by Charles Horner with heavy tarnish throughout and with numerous dints and holes. The flat circular scent bottle with heavy tarnish to the screw cap neck and the top of the cap appears to have been pushed down and misshapen. The magnifying glass appears good with small error to the joint between the handle and the lens. The purse generally good but with rubbing and some areas of dints, area of tarnish near the clip. The silk compartmentalised interior needs attention. Vesta case with heavy rubbing to one side of engine turned decoration and some smaller area to the other side, the cartouche also rubbed, with areas of dints, particularly below the hinge.
ANTHON SALOMON; an early 20th century French silver gilt cylindrical scent bottle case with overall engine turned decoration and applied floral garlands and sprays, housing three wedge shaped clear glass silver collared scent bottles with stoppers, silver standard 950, height 10cm, approx 2.03ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Generally in good condition apart from some rubbing to the gilt, particularly to raised parts and edges, areas of scratches and dirt, minor tarnish, glass in good condition apart from one bottle with small areas of nibbling to edges of one side, tiny nibbling around stopper bases but probably caused by manufacturing, all with tiny odd nibbles to some of the edges and one stopper with tiny loss to the tip, minor surface wear and areas of tarnish.
DOUGLAS CLOCK CO; a Victorian hallmarked silver fronted travel clock with foliate scroll decoration, the circular dial set with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, with engine turned decorated brass back with circular easel, no.722769, Birmingham 1897, 7.5 x 6.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Minor misshapen areas around the edge to the back, some traces of surface wear commensurate with age such as rubbing and dirt, some residue of cleaning products, tarnish to the brass back. Runs when wound but this is not a guarantee of working order or keeping of time.

A Victorian silver rounded oval spirit flask by Alfred Taylor, Birmingham 1866, with a screw cover, engine turned with a cup base, engraved with a motto Ne Oublie above a crest anda monogram JG, 14cm (5 1/2in) high, 232g (7.45 oz) The crest for GRAHAM. The head of clan Graham is the Duke of Montrose. The title holder at the time of this flask was James Graham, 4th Duke of Montrose, KT, PC (1799-1874). The flask does not carry a ducal crest so probably belonged to another member of the clan.
