W.G. Bagnall Ltd, Castle Engine Works, Stafford Catalogue Circa 1910 - A fine impressive catalogue produced for their Railway customers both in England and Overseas. A very interesting 72 page publication illustrating and detailing every class of Locomotive from a number of small narrow gauge to standard gauge and Indian broad gauge steam tank locomotives, also several Electric Locomotives for London Underground Railways and in Mines they were manufacturing at that time. Printed on fine gloss paper in red cloth board cover. Size 7½" × 9¾".

A Swiss silver and enamelled case strut bedside clock, pale blue ground with engine turning and white floral motifs, oval gilt dial marked 'J E Caldwell & Co', with modern replacement movement 8.50 x 6cm (3 x 2in) Provenance: Ennismore Gardens, Knightsbridge, London SW7 Condition:There are some surface age marks and light scratches. The frame edges are rather tarnished. The dial has a blemish between 5 and 6 o'clock. Movement has not been tested and is a much later replacement. The strut back now lacks most of the original gilt finish

Dent of London - A silver half hunter pocket watch and another pocket watch, engine turned case, the front lid with blue enamel Roman numerals, signed to the 4.5cm white dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, the front loading key wound fusée movement signed 'Dent 61 Strand London No 37958', the second, a yellow metal open faced pocket watch, the gilt floral dial with black Roman numerals and blued hands, engraved case stamped inside '10c 2315' , dust cover similarly marked, the crown wind movement signed 'AM Watch Co, Waltham Mass Royal 5078235' (2) Established in 1814 by Edward J. Dent, the company created precision chronometers to navigate the Royal Navy and guide some of the most intrepid explorers on their voyages. In addition to making the Standard Clock at the Royal Observatory, Greenwich which was to keep "Greenwich Mean Time", Dent also made the Great Clock for the Houses of Parliament, familiarly known as Big Ben. key lacking, outer glass cracked and catch worn on silver watch.
