Benson keyless lever watch, no. K3535, three quarter plate, in engine turned 9ct gold hunter case, inscribed and dated 1922, 49mm, with 9ct gold mounted leather strap, Benson box. CONDITION REPORT: Going. All good. Engine turning is rubbed on the edges. Gold covering missing from button. Initialled cover and inscribed cuvette.
Worksplate THE HUNSLET ENGINE CO LTD LEEDS No3732 1956 ex BR(W) Hawksworth 0-6-0 PT numbered 3402. Allocated to Cardiff East Dock and 88A Cardiff Cathays from where it was withdrawn in November 1964. Scrapped the following year at R. S. Hayes / Birds Bridgend. Oval cast brass, face restored, measures 11.5in x 8in.
Worksplate LONDON & NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY DARLINGTON WORKS 1926 (1411 ground off) with 5910 renumbering strip ex Gresley J38 0-6-0 originally numbered 1411 then 5910 and lastly 65910. A long time 62A Thornton Junction engine, it was withdrawn from there in July 1966 and scrapped later the same year at Campbells Airdrie. Oval cast iron, face cleaned, measuring 9in x 5in.
Worksplate YORKSHIRE ENGINE CO LIMITED MEADOW HALL WORKS SHEFFIELD No2454 1952 ex BR-W Hawksworth 0-6-0 PT 8461. Allocated initially to 82C Swindon then 84A Stafford Road in 1959 and lastly 86G Pontypool Road in 1960 from where it was withdrawn in November 1963, scrapped in January the next year at Swindon works. Oval cast brass, lightly face cleaned, measures 11in x 6in.
