An Elizabeth II Silver Rectangular Notebook Holder and Pencil, by Asprey & Co Ltd, the notebook London 1954, with engine turned ornament and pen holder, 3.75ins x 6ind x 1.5ins high, loaded, the pencil, Birmingham 1949, with vacant cartouche Notebook - In overall good condition. Hallmarks well struck on the back edge.Pencil - Minor dent in the vacant cartouche. Another small dent between the cartouche and nib. Light wear to the surface. Hallmarks clear.
A 19th Century French Carriage Clock, stamped encircled B trademark, the 2ins diameter white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, with gilt engine turned slip, to the eight day two train movement, striking and repeating on a gong, and with lever platform escapement, contained in gilt case with fluted frieze and apron, and female figurative pilasters, 5.75ins highExternally the clock presents in excellent overall condition. The gilding being complete and in good condition apart from some light rubs commensurate with age and general usage. All of the glass is intact and appears to be original, free from any chips or scratches. The handle is in good condition and functions correctly. The mechanism is complete however we cannot warrant the originality of all components. The dial enamel work is fine and free from any chips or hairline cracks and the surrounding gold panel is in good order. The clocks winds, runs and sets but should be regarded as untested. Prospective bidders are strongly advised to study all images closely prior to bidding as these form part of the condition report.
