A WWII German portable Wehrmacht issue DKW 2 stroke one cylinder petrol engine - Channel Islands Occupation interest, the (working) engine originally powered a type WG 570a 220 volt 2.6 amp generator, the generators were widely used in bunkers and tunnels for electric power, painted green, engine box size 17 x 11½ x 18½in. (43.2 x 29.2 x 47cm.). * This engine was recovered from a bunker on the east side of Alderney and retained for its possible subsequent use.

Arabic dial signed 'Chronométre Zenith', with outer 24 hour track and subsidiary seconds dial at six, the fob wound three quarter plate movement signed 'Zenith 2746679', the bevelled case signed with Zenith maker's mark, numbered 299269, Swiss Minerva head mark, case diameter 47mm.* Condition: Watch runs. A few tiny nicks to silvering on dial. Case very good with just light scratching and one tiny ding to edge of engine turned back.  Movement very clean.
