A very scarce Lego System #699 set of Eight HO scale Mercedes Truck Models dating back to 1965 containing Open bed Truck and Trailer - yellow with grey beds, Articulated Refrigeration Truck - red tractor unit with grey/white trailer, Articulated Tanker 'Esso' - red, Box Van 'Transport' with matching Box Trailer - sand green/ grey roof, Box Van 'Transport' - blue/grey roof, Open bed Truck - red cab/grey bed, Tow Truck - red with grey hook and Fire Engine - red with grey ladder and hose reel. Models appear VG/E and are housed in their original, generally G+ open tray, lacking original cellophane wrap, with a prominent crease to the centre of the right hand side of the box, slight distortion to the lower side and slight rubbing to some of the upper edges.
