Yamaha RD250 racing motorcycle - first registered 1975, LRO 854P, engine no. 522-05269 with matching frame number: Formerly the property of the well known sprinter Sheelagh Neil. The bike was in her hands for over forty years, being used in sprints and hill climbs, the best sprint recorded 13.01 seconds over a quarter mile. The bike was last run in 2021 so some light recommissioning will be required, the V5 is still on the database. Sold together with a trailer, some spares and original road parts.

An early 20th century silver plated ice pail, mark of Elkington & Company, 1901, of traditional form, the side decorated with four bands of engine turned engraving around two cartouches, one vacant, the other with the house flag and pennant of the New Zealand Shipping Company Ltd., simple swing handle, numbered to the underside 15597, 14cm diameter at the rim, 9.5cm at the base, 14cm high with the handle down (draining plate lacking)The New Zealand Shipping Company was formed in Christchurch, New Zealand in 1873 as a result of complaints about high freight rates. All the ships were fitted with a refrigerated capacity for New Zealand meat in 1881. The passage times between London and New Zealand for sailing ships were between 74 and 100 days.
