1989 Mercedes-Benz 420 SL Transmission: automaticMileage:57512When Mercedes-Benz redesigned its famed SL in 1971, there was a lot of equity behind it €“ after all, when the incomparable 300 SL Coupé and Roadster were built fewer than 20 years before, they set the world on fire. The next generation 230/250/280 SL in 1963 brought Mercedes' sports car down to earth, replacing both the incredible 300 SL and four-cylinder 190 SL. For the next SL, Mercedes started with the chassis of the mid-size W114/115 model and added the motors from the large W116 S-Class. The result was a luxurious V8 convertible that ended up being the longest passenger car series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz to date. The car remained a prized automotive status symbol and an iconic part of the brand's line-up.This Mercedes-Benz SL was originally registered on 1st August 1989 and presents very well. Supplied to the previous owner by the SL shop of Stratford-upon-Avon, the white coachwork of this Mercedes-Benz is in good order as is the hood and the black leather trim. This model is also supplied with a hardtop. We are advised the car drives well and the 4196cc, V8 engine operates smoothly and effectively; this is a very refined power unit. Supplied with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate until August 2023, this R107 420 SL is a perfect vehicle for the summer months ahead.

1951 Bentley Mk. VI (Standard Steel Saloon) Transmission: manualMileage:100776The Mk. VI four-door standard steel sports saloon was the first post-war luxury car from Bentley. Announced in May 1946 and produced from 1946 to 1952, it was also the first car from Rolls-Royce with all-steel coachwork and the first complete car assembled and finished at their factory. These very expensive cars were a genuine success. These models had a shorter wheelbase chassis and the engine was a variant of the Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith of 1946 and, with the same standard steel body, became the cautiously introduced Silver Dawn of 1949. In 1952, both Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn and Bentley Mk. VI standard steel bodies were modified to incorporate a boot of about twice the size and the result became known as the R-Type Bentley. Mk. VI engines and chassis were modified to provide higher performance and sold to be bodied by selected coachbuilders as the first Bentley Continentals. This lovely example of this pretty model is presented in black over silver with a grey leather interior. It comes with its original handbook, V5C registration document and a folder containing many old invoices. The grey leather seats show a nice patina and the wood to the dashboard and doors are in nice condition. This stylish Bentley Mk. VI would look very at home at Royal Ascot, Goodwood or other similar events but most of all, it will bring a smile to your face when driving it and attract admiring glances wherever you are.

1986 Ford Escort RS Turbo Transmission: manualMileage:74763The Ford Escort RS Turbo was based on the three-door Ford Escort saloon and was supplied in a Diamond White body colour only. The engine fitted to the RS Turbo was a 1600cc CVH unit modified to suit the higher loads and the application of a turbocharger. Computerised fuel injection and engine management incorporating turbocharger boost control were also fitted. Aesthetically, the RS Turbo was given a distinctive sporty appearance with a body coloured front grille, bumpers and aerodynamic aids. On the tailgate, an XR3i spoiler (also body coloured) was fitted together with 'RS Turbo' decals. The interior was trimmed in a combination of Monza and Cashmere fabrics and XR3i-type Recaro LS bucket seats were fitted as standard. Production was limited to only 5,000 examples and many were modified in period for racing.Originally registered on 13th January 1986 this delightful RS Turbo has been restored of which there is photographic evidence in the history folder. The car comes supplied with the original service books and a collection of invoices. The very knowledgeable and fastidious vendor has ensured the quality of this Ford has been maintained, having recently fitted a new turbo, new brakes and new front suspension. We are advised also that a new clutch has been fitted and there is a slight amount of clutch judder when pulling away in 1st gear. Prior to auction the car will have a fresh MoT and a V5 document is present in the documentation. This is a genuine opportunity to purchase every 80's schoolboy's dream car and a rare treat to find one in such fine condition.

1998 Aston Martin DB7 i6 Coupé Transmission: automaticMileage:46000Introduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was Aston Martin's first six-cylinder model since production of the DBS had finished in 1971. Styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen. Arguably one of the most attractive looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two door coupé body and robust six-cylinder engine. Power was supplied by an all alloy double overhead camshaft supercharged 24 valve, inline six-cylinder engine which produced 335bhp at 5750rpm. Regarded by many as the purist modern Aston Martin, the DB7 will undoubtedly be a collectable car for years to come and is equally at home in the city or out on the open road.Originally registered on 1st August 1998 this Aston Martin presents very well in British Racing Green with a contrasting Parchment and green interior. The current vendor has owned this DB7 for the last 16 years and has clearly loved and cherished the car. It has a good service history and has recently been serviced as well as having the air conditioning re-gassed in anticipation of a hot summer! It is difficult to believe this car is 25 years old the condition and modest mileage reflect how well cared for this example has been. Supplied with a V5C registration document together with an MoT test certificate valid until 20th September 2023, these six-cylinder DB7's have become increasingly popular of late, also add to that the confidence in this car which will certainly capture the imagination of any Aston Martin collector or enthusiast.

2002 BMW M3 Transmission: manualMileage:39665The BMW M3 is one of the most iconic sports cars of all time. The vehicle first entered production in 1986 and quickly became known for its high performance and excellent driving dynamics. The E46 generation of M3s was produced from 2000 to 2006 and was the third generation of the M3. The E46 generation was powered by the legendary S54 3.2 litre inline six-cylinder engine, which produced 343bhp and could boast a redline of 8000rpm. This power was sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, or the optional SMG semi automatic. The E46 M3 was also equipped with several performance features, including a limited-slip differential, a variable-length intake manifold, larger brakes and improved suspension. The E46 M3 was praised for its handling and power, and it is still considered to be one of the best M3's ever made. This particular example is fitted with the sought-after six-speed manual transmission and has been in the care of our vendor since 2004, meaning it has only had a total of two keepers throughout its whole life. The mileage is remarkably low too, still sitting beneath 40,000 miles, making it one of the perfect examples to either use every day, or tuck away as a longer-term investment. The car does have a small scuff on the near side corner of both the front and rear bumpers, but these should be quite easy to rectify. Given the exceptionally low mileage, the interior also presents wonderfully, with only minor wear on the gear knob and some light wear on the drivers seat bolster. The service history is equally impressive, with all routine services having been carried out by BMW main dealers. The car comes to the sale with a fresh oil service, so it is ready for the lucky new owner to enjoy straight away. The VANOS system was also rebuilt in 2019, with the car having covered just over 4,000 miles since.

1995 BMW M3 Coupé (E36) Transmission: automaticMileage:67000Hagerty describes this specific model as 'The BMW that cemented the winning formula for the M3' with the E36 replacing the E30 in 1995. The US Spec M3 doesn't have the full fat M3 engine and Hagerty says 'I'm here to say that's a good thing'. If you look back through history, no repairs bills, the US spec M3 'is the one to have'. A civilised high performance road car that dramatically outperforms any other 3 series. Oh! and the cylinder head comes from none other than a McLaren F1 racing car. Performance is only down by one to two tenths of a second on the 'full fat' M3 to 60 mph. The E36 has won numerous accolades spanning 15 years with the best car magazines in the world. Under the bonnet, the E36 M3 is powered by a 3.0 litre inline-six engine, producing 240 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. It is equipped with a five-speed manual gearbox as standard, with an optional six-speed manual gearbox available on later models or an automatic option. No snap oversteer here, which is a BMW handling feature. This early, left hand drive 1995 BMW E36 M3 Coupé is fitted with the rare automatic gearbox and privacy glass, was imported from Japan in March 2022 and is supplied with a good Japanese service history. Recent work carried out in the UK includes a service, refreshed brake calipers with upgraded Brembo pads, HID light upgrade, new Toyo Proxes tyres, a new MoT test certificate which expires in March 2024 and a new Pioneer Apple head unit. Finished in black with black leather interior with M Sport decals, this M3 is supplied with a V5C registration document and a file containing the Japanese service history and a photographic record of restoration works undertaken. The BMW E36 M3 Coupé is an impressive sports car that offers exceptional performance and a stylish design. This example is 9/10 on every aspect, the gearbox is silky smooth, handling is sublime and performance is progressively rapid and on demand. This is a car you will want in your collection and no list of work needing to be done.

1967 Jaguar Jaguar Mk.II (3.4 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:2339The lineage of the Mk. II can be directly traced back to its predecessor, the 2.4 saloon or Mk. I as it would be retrospectively known in later years. Traditional Jaguar buyers would not feel alienated by the new offering from Coventry however, as the interior was up to their usual standards with leather and walnut being the order of the day. With 112bhp available, the 2.4 was not overly burdened with pace, so Jaguar's response was to come in the shape of a 3.4 litre version which was launched in 1957. As a result, 120mph was a genuinely achievable pace, necessitating the introduction of disc brakes a year later to keep speeds in check. Rather than introduce a completely brand new car, Jaguar successfully re-designed the car from stem to stern, and the Mk. II was born, debuting in 1959. The chunky windscreen pillars of the early car were replaced by slimmer offerings giving a much airier cabin which both improved the styling and freshened up the design for the new decade. This British Racing Green Jaguar Mk. II 3.4 litre manual gearbox example is one of the best older restorations we have had the pleasure to view. There is a full photographic record of the nut and bolt restoration which  was undertaken in the mid 90's by the then Jaguar enthusiast owner. A restoration which, today, although showing a wonderful patina, has resulted in a fantastic example with good door shuts, paintwork and we are told drives very well. Supported by a Jaguar Heritage Certificate, the paperwork documents the expensive restoration of the car which began in 1989 and was still being fettled to a finish in 1998. This manual with overdrive British sports car and it's  3.4 litre engine provides brisk performance and can be enjoyed all whilst sat in a cabin that has been extremely well restored but with leather that shows a beautiful patina. This really is a car that provides that classic feel with the confidence of a restored example and one that has covered a mere 2,339 miles since.Interested parties should note that this vehicle is not currently sold with a V5 registration document. However, one has been applied for by the vendor with the DVLA and should arrive in due course.

1985 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL Transmission: automaticMileage:109688The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class has been manufactured since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German 'Sport Leicht' or 'Sport Light' and was first applied to the 300SL 'Gullwing,' named after the upward-opening doors. The term SL-Class refers to the marketing variations of the vehicle, including the numerous engine configurations spanning five design generations. The Mercedes-Benz R107 and C107 cars were produced from 1971 through to 1989, being the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz after the G-Class. The R107 took the chassis components of the mid-size W114 model and mated them to the larger engines from the S-Class (W116) and has become a benchmark of quality throughout the years.Presented in Astral Silver over contrasting blue cloth and MB Tex trim, this desirable 500 SL R107 has covered an average of less than 3,000 miles a year in its 38 years and has been clearly well cared for. The period Mercedes-Benz trim in very good order is complemented by an original Becker Mexico radio. In 2021 this example was recommissioned extensively after a period of storage details of which can be found in a full report found within the history file, this included full mechanical recommissioning and service and new sills coupled to bulkhead inspection finished off with some new woodwork to the interior and a three stage polish and ceramic coating. A well specified example from new, this example is offered with an MoT test certificate with no advisories and is valid until July this year. Sitting on 14€ Mexican Hat wheels is a very good example of the very popular R107 SL boasting the five litre V8 and adept at wowing people at classic cars shows whilst keeping up with modern day traffic. Offered at a modest auction estimate, viewing is certainly recommended.

1986 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Transmission: manualMileage:73900The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth is a performance-oriented version of the Sierra family car produced by Ford Europe in the mid-1980s. The car was developed by Ford's motorsport division, which aimed to create a high-performance vehicle that could compete in rallies and racing. The Sierra RS Cosworth was equipped with a 2.0 litre turbocharged engine that produced 204 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque, making it one of the fastest cars of its time. The car was fitted with a limited-slip differential, which helped to improve its handling and traction on both road and track. The exterior of the Sierra RS Cosworth was designed with aerodynamics in mind, featuring a distinctive front grille, a large rear spoiler, and wider wheel arches to accommodate its wider track. Inside, the car was fitted with Recaro bucket seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, as well as a range of gauges and dials to monitor the car's performance. The Sierra RS Cosworth proved to be a successful rally car, winning several championships and races throughout the 1980s and 1990's.This excellent and very original 1986 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth was purchased by the current owner in 2014 when the car had only covered 72,500 miles and put into his private collection. While in his ownership he has only driven 1,400 miles. He has also had the wheels refurbished and the Recaro seats renovated shortly after he acquired the car. Finished in the classic Ford colour scheme of Moonstone Blue paintwork with grey cloth interior, this lovely example is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in October 2023 and a file containing old MoT test certificates and invoices. Today, it remains a popular choice amongst car enthusiasts and collectors, thanks to its striking design, impressive performance and rich motorsport heritage.

1950 Riley RMB (2.5 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:45292The Monte Carlo rally must surely represent the golden age of intercontinental motor sport. Not only did it host a whole range of teams that took part but the conditions varied enormously from hot coastal weather to driving snow in the mountains. The Riley RMB was a useful tool for the job as it combines fixedhead motoring and powerful 2.5 litre engine. The 'Big-Four' as it was known, with twin camshafts mounted high at the sides of the cylinder block, hemispherical combustion chambers and twin SU carbs meant that the engine was rated at 100bhp giving the big saloon a top speed of just shy of the magic ton. This extremely well-presented RMB was bought new by Arthur Bassett of Swansea in October 1950 with the express intention of competing in the following year's RAC Monte Carlo Rally, as shown in press cuttings on file. It duly did, finishing a creditable 236 out of 342 or 54% up the field. It also maintains a number of special features built specifically for the race including locking fuel caps, a secret compartment in the rear seat divider and steel shackles on the jacking points which were used to strap the car down securely on its voyage across the Channel. It also benefits from an extremely rare factory fitted sunroof and is thought to be one of only six RMBs thus equipped. After successfully completing the rally, the car passed through several more local owners as detailed in the original buff logbook before the current owner. Although the engine had been rebuilt some time ago, the rest of the car had not, so a full restoration, which took almost four years to complete, was undertaken. As can be seen, the work was done to a high standard and the car looks wonderful today with excellent paintwork and, great brightwork and gorgeous red leather interior as shown with limited use whilst also retaining much of its original patina. The underside looks equally good and the car is fitted with a stainless exhaust and full one year MoT test certificate. The car became a regular on the Welsh show circuit and reportedly won so many prizes that the vendor eventually became too embarrassed to enter it. He states that the car has always proved totally reliable during his long ownership and has always driven exceptionally well tackling long journeys with ease €“ as you might expect from a seasoned Monte Carlo rally car!

1997 Mini 1997 Mini Cooper 35 Limited Edition Transmission: manualMileage:65360The launch of the original Mini in 1959 created a sensation. The compact design and innovation was a real masterpiece of engineering and provided a spacious interior and exceptional roadholding. Fast forward a few years and the space in the market for a performance related version was noticed and gave birth to the Mini Cooper. This new model featured a more powerful engine and improved handling. It became an immediate success and went on to achieve greatness. Fast forward 35 years, and the Rover group thought it would be a good idea to celebrate this little motoring icon, and the Mini Cooper 35 was born. The immediate interest was encouraging and when it was announced that it would be limited to a production run of 200 units for the UK, and 200 for Japan, the response was amazing. All 200 were finished in Almond Green with a white roof and luxurious porcelain green leather with a dashboard finished in walnut. Powered by a 1275cc fuel injected engine mated to a 4 speed manual gearbox. This example presents in outstanding condition. The paintwork is in good order and the leather, woodwork and carpets are unmarked. It is clear to see that this car has been cherished by its owner over the last 10 years. We are also informed that this Mini is a joy to drive. Presented to auction with a V5c registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until October 2023 this rare and desirable Mini is offered without reserve.

1983 Volkswagen Golf GTi Mk. I Transmission: manualMileage:200044Launched in 1974, the Golf represented a complete break with Volkswagen tradition, yet it would prove as big a sales success as its Beetle predecessor. In GTi form the Golf has become one of the great icons of modern motoring, giving rise to an entirely new class of sporting saloon - the 'hot hatch' - in the process. First seen at the Frankfurt Show in September 1975, the GTi came with a 1.6 litre, fuel-injected, 110bhp engine which, in a car weighing a mere 846 kilos (1,861lbs) resulted in a performance package of a type not seen since the demise of the Mini Cooper 1275 S. Increasing competition from rival manufacturers prompted the introduction of a 1.8 litre GTi in 1982, and although maximum power increased only slightly to 114bhp there was a considerable improvement in mid-range acceleration.First registered on 12th April 1983, this lovely example of the original hot hatch has led a pampered life over the past few years that belie its mileage. Having only had three former keepers and forming part of two large collections in recent years, with low ownership it has had light use and always been dry stored indoors. The Lhasa Green paintwork presents well, and the interior is in remarkably good condition for a car of this age and mileage. Retaining its original 13€ nine slot alloy wheels, the car looks as it should. The supplied history file shows a history of good maintenance with 19 stamps shown in its original Volkswagen service book and a further three with well reputed Wagon Wheels as well as many other receipts and MoT test certificates. Now only for sale to make room for a new acquisition, the vendor reports the car to run and drive very well with its 1800cc engine revving away as freely as you would hope.Supplied with a V5C registration document, book pack, service book, MoT test certificates and other receipts. This entry level classic is ready to provide maximum bang for your buck thrills as well as holding its own at any classic car event.

1995 Jaguar XJS Celebration Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:724121975 saw the launch of the Jaguar XJS. In a year that Margaret Thatcher was made the leader of the Conservative Party and petrol was 70 pence per gallon, the new grand tourer from Jaguar was introduced as the replacement for the iconic E-Type. During an astonishing build run of 21 years, 115,413 units were produced by the Coventry manufacturer at their world-famous Browns Lane factory. The final, more aerodynamic version of the XJS was introduced in 1991. At the same time, the car benefitted from a revision to the rear brakes; they were now fitted with outboard rear disc brakes, instead of the more complicated inboard items on previous models. With a more efficient engine and subtle design changes, this version was available until production ceased. In 1995, the last full year of production, the 'Celebration' edition was produced to commemorate Jaguar's 60th year. This lovely, and very original 1995 Jaguar XJS Celebration Convertible was supplied new by Appleyard Jaguar in Bradford and has only covered 72,400 miles. Purchased by the current owner three years ago when it had covered 70,000, the car has a good service history which confirms that it has been well maintained with the last service carried out this year by Sytner Jaguar, Bracknell. Finished in Turquoise with blue roof and Cream leather interior, this car is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires at the end of May 2023, the service book with nine service stamps and a file containing the original bill of sale, invoices, old registration documents and old MoT certificates. The 'Celebration' model signalled the end of an era and low mileage original examples of the convertible are becoming increasingly rare and highly sought-after.

2006 Bentley Continental GTC Transmission: automaticMileage:9494The Bentley Continental GT was the first car released by Volkswagen AG after their acquisition of the company in 1998 and was unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, followed by Le Mans, Goodwood Festival of Speed and the annual Bentley Drivers Club meeting at Silverstone. The car differed significantly from the previous Continental R and T models in terms of its concept; although much of the car is hand-assembled, this Bentley is made in significantly larger numbers than previously. As a result, the price at launch was substantially less than the Continental R, thus exposing the car to a much wider and new customer base as a more affordable car. A Continental GTC is equipped with a 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine and produces 603bhp with an impressive top speed of 202mph. Torsen-based permanent four-wheel drive is standard. This excellent Bentley Continental GTC has only covered 9,494 miles from new. It was purchased new by the present owner in October 2006 from Broughton's of Surrey. Finished in Silverlake Blue metallic with dark blue roof and cream leather interior, this Continental GTC is supplied with a full service history from the main dealer and Bentley marque specialists. The car also comes with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in March 2024, the MoT history file which also confirms the low mileage and copies of the invoices from the Bentley specialists. The Bentley Continental GTC is a remarkable car that combines style, performance and luxury in one impressive package. It is a car that is sure to turn heads and provide an unforgettable driving experience for anyone lucky enough to get behind the wheel.

1955 Vauxhall Velox Transmission: Mileage:34052In 1951 a longer, wider Vauxhall Velox was launched, designated as the EIP series, and featuring a modern 'three box' shape and integral construction. The body was again shared with the four-cylinder-engined Vauxhall Wyvern. The car was launched with the previous model's engine but with power output increased to 58bhp. A car with the original 2275cc engine tested by The Motor magazine in 1951 had a top speed of 77.4 mph and could accelerate from 0-60 mph in 23.7 seconds. In April 1952 the Velox was re-designated as the EIPV series and received a new 2262cc engine which had been in development for several years. This provided either 64bhp or, with a compression ratio improved to 7.6:1, 68bhp of power. A further test in 1952 by The Motor magazine of the EIPV with the short stroke 2262cc engine, found the top speed had increased to 80.4 mph and acceleration from 0-60 mph to 21.4 seconds. The coupé utility continued on until officially withdrawn at the end of the 1957 model year. 1955 saw a significant facelift. Most obvious of the many cosmetic changes was a new front grille. More importantly was the introduction at this time of a sister model, branded as the Vauxhall Cresta.Originally registered on 1st September 1955 this Vauxhall presents in astonishing condition. Clearly restoration work has been carried out, although this has been carried out with 'new old stock' parts wherever possible. The mileage of 34,052 is original and is confirmed by a significant history folder. The quality of work has to be seen to be appreciated. The Maroon coachwork is exceptional and would not look out of place on a Rolls-Royce. The interior is largely original, however to due to the fact this Vauxhall has covered on average 500 miles per year throughout its 68 years on British roads, it is in fine order and has a modest character warming patina. The brightwork, of which there is plenty, is also in excellent condition. The engine started first time during our inspection and the car ran very well, are advised the car drives with no known faults. Supplied with a V5C registration document, this award winning, imposing Velox cannot fail to attract admiring glances and put a smile on your face.

1995 Porsche 911 / 993 Carrera 2 Transmission: manualMileage:109384The 993 generation of the Porsche 911 was the final iteration of more than 30 years of development on the iconic air-cooled flat-six engine, for which the 911 is so famous. The 993 drove just as well as it looked, being the first 911 with a modern multi-link rear suspension and a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. With these features, the 993 was able to reach 0-60mph times of around five seconds, and a top speed of around 170mph. The 993 was known for its unique style and design. It featured all-new headlights that were integrated into the body, giving it a more modern look. It also featured a curved windshield and a redesigned rear spoiler, which improved both aerodynamics and aesthetics. This particular example is described by aficionados as the one to have; a manual gearbox, Carrera 2, coupé. The car is presented in Polar Silver with a dark blue leather interior, a classy combination for a Porsche. The car was fully resprayed in 2015, costing £5,500. The interior presents well, with some room for improvement. Quite impressively, this 911 has only had two true owners from new and has been in our vendors family since 1997, with the third owner being the second owner's son, who has the job of finding the car a new home. The car was fitted with a new clutch in 2017. At the time, the engine was removed, the rocker covers were replaced, as were the spark plugs and leads. In 2019, the car was treated to new front and rear brake discs and pads, as well as a reconditioned steering rack. The car was given an oil and filter change in February 2023. The Porsche factory option sticker is still present under the bonnet, showing option codes 033 (lowered suspension), 373 & 374 (Electric sport seats), 398 (17€ wheels), 425 (rear wiper), 567 (top tinted windscreen) and 650 (sunroof). With values of 993's rapidly increasing over the past few years, it has become hard to find a sensibly priced manual Carrera 2. This car provides the opportunity to buy into the world of air-cooled Porsche ownership during the 75th anniversary year for Porsche and the 60th anniversary year of the 911, at a great price point compared to those on the open market.

1983 Austin Metro Vanden Plas Transmission: manualMileage:19750The Metro is a supermini car, later, a city car that was produced by British Leyland and later, the Rover Group from 1980 to 1998. It was launched in 1980 as the Austin Mini Metro. It was intended to complement and eventually replace the Mini and was developed under the codename LC8. The Metro was named by What Car magazine as 'Car of The Year' 1983 as an MG, and again as the Rover Metro in 1991. During its 18-year lifespan the Metro wore many names; Austin Metro, MG Metro and Rover Metro. It was rebadged as the Rover 100 series in December 1994.First registered on 3rd March 1983 and having just celebrated its 40th birthday, this incredible time warp example has covered a mere 19,750 miles from new. Having been part of the James Hull collection, our vendor purchased the car due to the unique nature of the Vanden Plas specification which brought a plush luxury finish to what is usually a basic small family hatchback, much like the Radford minis. The 'Raschelle' woven velvet upholstery is in incredible condition and all plastics are unsurprisingly as new, the car on the whole feels every bit of its low mileage and collector status. Powered by the 'A' series 1275cc 60bhp engine with a four-speed all-synchromesh manual gearbox, this example is a real delight and no slouch either!Guide Price £5,000 - £7,000

1968 Triumph TR5 Transmission: manualMileage:70528The TR5 was built for a 13-month period between August 1967 and September 1968 in Coventry. Visually identical to the Michelotti styled TR4, the TR5 hid the main differences under the body. The most significant change was the 2.5 litre straight-six fuel-injected engine developing around 150bhp and which was carried forward to the TR6. At the time, fuel injection was uncommon in road cars. Triumph claimed in their sales brochure that it was the 'first British production sports car with petrol fuel injection'. This engine could propel the TR5 from 0-50mph in just 6.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 125mph. Standard equipment included front disc brakes, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering and a four-speed gearbox. This absolutely superb example of this extremely sought-after model is presented in Old English White with a blue interior which matches the hood and there were only 1161 built of which allegedly only half survive today. The present owner is the fourth since new and has spent circa £23,000 on the car whilst in his ownership. This work has included a complete bare metal panel re-spray, new interior and dashboard. The dark blue hood is in 'as new condition' and the gleaming Old English White paintwork looks superb with no imperfections. The engine runs smoothly and sounds evocative, as these six-cylinder 2,500 litre engines should! The car comes with a fantastic and comprehensive history file which includes its original buff logbook and many invoices showing work which has been carried out over the decades and it also comes with a MoT test certificate which expires in March 2024. The car also has a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate which confirms the Triumph's original colour as being white and also confirms it as a U.K. car with matching numbers and there is documentation which verifies the current mileage as being correct. The current owner has had the car maintained by professional specialists whilst in his ownership. This TR5 is truly fabulous and is in near concours condition in our opinion.

1992 Rover Mini Cooper Transmission: manualMileage:53701John Cooper was well known for his involvement, along with his father Charles, in developing the post-war, rear engine, single seater 500cc race cars that ran amok and beat the larger front engine cars of the period. John was also later renowned for his development of the iconic Mini with the Mini Coopers cleaning up in high profile race and rally events in the 1960s and beyond. This stunning extensively restored Rover Mini Cooper is offered from private ownership with just over 53,000 miles from new. The car is presented in Storm Grey with contrasting black and red trim with optional sunroof. The accompanying history file is equally as impressive showing no breaks in the lifespan of this little Cooper and includes every MoT test certificate from new and the original sale receipt along with the original book packs. Having been garaged since its full restoration, this example is offered with an MoT test certificate valid until 13th December. This is truly a stunning example suitable to use as a daily driver or investment.

2001 Bentley Arnage Red Label Transmission: automaticMileage:95521Launched in 1998, the Arnage was manufactured in Crewe from 1998 to 2009 with its Rolls-Royce sibling, the Silver Seraph. They were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The new Arnage (Green Label) was to be powered by a BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered, twin-turbo chargers and the Seraph was to employ a BMW V12 engine. The Arnage Red Label was launched in October 1999 with the engine reverting back to Bentley power using the traditional V8 engine and a displacement of 6750cc. As part of the modification process, both Red and Green Label cars benefitted from expanded leg room in the cabin, stiffer bodyshells and larger wheels and brakes. This lovey 2001 Bentley Arnage Red Label, which has the more desirable 6.75 litre V8 engine, was purchased by the vendor in 2014. When supplied new it came with a very high specification including DVD player in the rear compartment with the monitors mounted in the rear of the front headrests. After four years in dry storage, this Bentley was recently recommissioned which included fitting new tyres. This Arnage Red Label has only covered 7,500 miles since 2006 and, we are informed by the owner, the car was looked after by H R Owen prior to 2006. Finished in Peacock Blue with Parchment Connolly hide interior, this lovely Bentley Arnage is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in November 2023, the handbook pack and two umbrellas fitted in the boot. This comprehensively optioned luxury saloon represents incredible value for money and a delightfully luxurious motoring experience.

1986 Ford Escort RS Turbo Series I Transmission: manualMileage:67001The Ford Escort RS Turbo was based on the three-door Ford Escort saloon and was supplied in a Diamond White body colour only. The engine fitted to the RS Turbo was a 1600 CVH unit modified to suit the higher loads and the application of a turbocharger. Production was limited to only 5,000 examples and many were modified in period for racing.Finished in the well-known rally Diamond White with appropriate decals, this example of the 80's poster fast Ford, Series I RS Turbo is in stunning and original largely unmolested condition and has covered a mere 67,000 miles from new. The original Recaro velour interior is in fabulous condition throughout as are the original plastics, all showing minimal wear and the right degree of patina for the car and its age. In the engine bay the car can be found to be clean and standard but for minor upgrades such as coilover suspension and uprated HT leads but as a car that has been shown at local Ford events the owner is proud of its originality and standard. The original wheels are with the car although currently sitting on later RS alloy wheels. Presented with an MoT test certificate valid until June and history file including details of recent servicing and maintenance.  Nothing sets the pulses racing like the working man's hero car with that whirring turbo coupled to the original CVH engine.Interested parties should note this vehicle is now on its original wheels and not those photographed in the catalogue.

1964 Bentley S3 Transmission: automaticMileage:The last Bentley to be built on a separate chassis, 1962 saw the introduction of the Bentley S3 factory bodied, standard steel saloon and, at first glance, it would appear that the all new S3 was merely an S2 with different headlamps. The introduction of the twin headlamps was clearly the most obvious change, but the differences did not end there. Further changes included the introduction of smaller bumper overriders and the repositioning of the front indicators and side lamps into one single unit on the front wing, resulting in a more attractive appearance. The S3's interior now had individual front seats in place of the split bench seat found in the earlier S-Types and some, like this one, had electric windows and front seat belts. Mechanically speaking the S3 was the same as the S2 with a 6230cc, Rolls-Royce V8 engine and automatic gearbox but this model was fitted with larger carburettors, improved power steering to aid smoother movement at parking speed and a Lucas vacuum-advance distributor to aid fuel consumption, making it almost identical in mechanical specification to the S3 Continental that was being produced at the same time. This example is presented in silver with a red leather interior. Our client's late father drove this wonderful British classic into his garage in 2014 and there it has resided ever since without being driven or started. Its interior is in generally good condition, with its red leather showing nice patina and the wood in good condition. The silver paint appears to be in fair condition with some marks to the roof from birds! We are sure that with some light re-commissioning, this majestic Bentley can be brought back to life once again and enjoyed. There is some paperwork accompanying the car, most of which is old MoT test certificates but as our client's late father was a renown Bentley and Rolls-Royce engineer (ex-H.R. Owen) and we know that this was his pride and joy not that long ago. The car is offered without reserve, which allows scope for the work needed. Please note that any purchaser will have to arrange for the Bentley to be transported away from the auction.

1978 Jaguar SS100 by Suffolk Transmission: manualMileage:3446Regarded as one of the rarest and most elegant of pre-war designs, the Jaguar SS100 was entitled to reflect its ability to reach 100mph and the model's combination of style and performance undoubtedly set the course for the company's future successes. With a total of just 314 original examples produced between 1936 and 1939, the SS100 is also one of the rarest with only 198 of the 2.5 litre and 116 of the 3.5 litre models being manufactured, most staying in the U.K. and, like its later C and D-Type siblings, generally considered to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing Jaguar cars ever built, with values of original cars continuing to rise steadily and remain beyond the reach of many enthusiasts. Although a fine touring car, the SS100 was marketed primarily for competition work. Its first major success came early, if somewhat unexpectedly, when Tommy Wisdom, crewed by his wife, won the arduous Internationale Alpine Trial in 1936, beating Bugatti, and bringing the fledgling marque to the attention of the continental public. This would be the first of many successful racing forays, including class wins in the RAC events of 1937 and 1938. Jaguar used a new Weslake-developed, overhead-valve engine in a shortened SS1 chassis. The introduction of the OHV unit was considered to justify the adoption of a new name for the series. SS Cars boss William Lyons later recalling, €œI immediately pounced on Jaguar as it had an exciting sound to me€ and was adopted as the marque name in 1943. With such iconic branding as the Jaguar SS100, it was inevitable that companies would seek to produce recreations. The best quality and highest regarded of these recreations were offered by Suffolk Sports Cars with close to 200 cars being built to date. They are widely considered as having set the benchmark for others to follow. Utilising an original SS100 to ensure exact and correct dimensions were achieved for the chassis, GRP moulds were taken from the original car to ensure that scale and tolerances were as accurate and close to the original as possible. The vendor purchased this example from a retired engineer who built this car between 2016 and 2017 from parts supplied by Suffolk Sports Cars as a project. The detailed and extensive list of parts and directions are enclosed within the history file. Needless to say, the body is an exact copy of an original 1938 SS100 with a steel internal frame making it very strong. The bonnet is aluminium replicating the original, with all-correct 200 louvres. A large number of parts are indeed identical to the original and will actually fit original cars as all parts are either new or reconditioned. The wooden flooring has been epoxy coated for durability and doubling pieces added as appropriate. Stainless steel fastenings have been used for durability and all wood mounted on the chassis rails utilise rubber gasket strips. The engine is a 4.2 litre Jaguar XJ6 unit and was reconditioned by Ivor Searle Ltd and connected to a lightened flywheel. It has a stainless steel tubular exhaust manifold together with the rest of the system. Carburettors are reconditioned 2€ SUs and electronic ignition is by a Powerspark distributor. The reconditioned four-speed gearbox has a rebuilt Laycock overdrive unit working on top gear with improvements made also to include softer front springs, quieter silencers and additional fuses for reliability. There are additional driving lights fitted which are wired to come on with main beam (via a relay), controlled via a selection switch on the dash and the fuel gauge has been electronically matched to the tank unit to improve gauge accuracy. The headlights are replica Lucas Q596s and matching replica 'owls-eye' rear lamps can be found to the rear. There is a tonneau cover, hood and side screens in black mohair together with a cover to conceal the folded hood together with a lockable rear compartment with a lift-out lid. There is an extensive build file, book and DVD of the photographic build history. It also comes with all old MoTs plus a new 12 month MoT test certificate, various invoices, Suffolk build manual (with additional notes), an XJ6 manual and a large file of specifications. This represents a beautifully put together Jaguar, striking in Phthalo Blue with a tan interior and wire wheels. Difficult to distinguish it from the real thing!

2009 Bentley Continental GTC Transmission: automaticMileage:57500The Bentley Continental GT was the first car released by Volkswagen AG after their acquisition of the company in 1998 and was unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, followed by Le Mans, Goodwood Festival of Speed and the annual Bentley Drivers Club meeting at Silverstone. Torsen-based permanent four-wheel drive is standard.Presented in Diamond black, this three-owner example of the convertible Continental offers boundless power and acceleration with all of the refinements of a modern Bentley. Having covered only 57,000 miles it was purchased 17th August 2009 and has been owner by our vendor since 2018. The car comes with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate. 1969 Austin Mini Cooper S Mk. II Transmission: manualMileage:70210The Austin Mini Cooper S Mk. II is a legendary car, which was first introduced in 1967. The Mini Cooper S Mk. II is known for its unique design, handling, and impressive performance on the road. The car was equipped with a 1275cc engine, which produced 76 bhp, which may not sound like much by modern standards, but at the time, it was considered to be quite powerful for a car of its size. The Cooper S Mk. II was also quite a rare car with only 1,479 destined for the home market and far fewer remaining. The Austin Mini Cooper S Mk. II had a distinctive look that set it apart from other cars of its time. The car's handling was also exceptional, thanks to its front-wheel drive and nimble suspension system, making it a popular choice for racing enthusiasts. Overall, the Austin Mini Cooper S Mk. II was a car that was ahead of its time, offering impressive performance, exceptional handling, and a distinctive design that still looks great today. It has become a classic car, which is highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike. This particular example was built on 12th November 1969 as a UK right hand drive example, but spent a large proportion of its life in Greece, returning to the UK in 2014. The car comes with a British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate and an FIA car pass for a 2013 classic regularity rally in Greece, believed to have been the Historic Acropolis Rally. The car is now a lovely example of a fast road style Cooper S, with magnesium Minilite alloy wheels, bolt in half roll cage, Lucas spotlights and rally timing equipment. 1958 Chevrolet Impala Transmission: automaticMileage:13963The 1958 Chevrolet Impala was produced by General Motors during a time when American automobiles were becoming larger, more powerful and more flamboyant. The Impala was part of the Chevrolet Bel Air line and was introduced as a top-of-the-line model for the 1958 model year. The car was available in several body styles, including two-door pillarless coupé, four-door saloon, two-door convertible, and station wagon. The 1958 Impala featured a sleek, sculpted design with prominent tail fins, which were a hallmark of 1950s automotive styling. The car was powered by a range of V8 engines, including a high-performance 348 cubic inch engine, which produced up to 315hp. This made the Impala one of the most powerful cars of its time. The 1958 Impala was also notable for its luxurious interior, which featured plush seats, chrome accents, and a full range of gauges and controls. It was a popular car among drivers who valued both style and performance, and it remains a highly sought-after classic car today. It is very hard to determine how many of these first year two-door Impalas are in the U.K. but this example is surely one of the very best in the country, if not globally. This particular example is presents in absolutely fabulous condition throughout and has been a winner at multiple events. The car was even displayed on the Goodwood Festival of Speed Cartier lawn, which speaks volumes about its condition. The odometer is showing just a little over 13,000 miles and our vendor is quite confident that this could be the true mileage. Our vendor has owned this Impala since 2006 and it was in exactly this condition when he first purchased it in America all those years ago. He stripped the 283ci engine down upon arrival to the U.K. but found the internals of the engine in quite astonishing condition, which added to his confidence that the mileage could be true. The car is presented in the absolutely superb colour of Chevrolet Tropic Turquoise with a white roof and lashings of chrome. The interior is also immaculately presented in Tropic Turquoise and really does need to be seen in the flesh to be fully appreciated. All of the original period books and brochures are present and the vendor has painstakingly sourced numerous original under bonnet stickers, which are yet to be fitted. This car is ready to be taken to shows and would be able to compete for regular prizes, as it has done for the past 15 years with our vendor. This may be the best 1958 Impala available for some time.

1988 Land Rover Defender 110 Transmission: manualMileage:20The original Land Rover Series began production in Solihull in 1948 and until its decades-long production run ended in 2016, more than two million Defenders were produced, becoming a British automotive icon. Since production ceased, the revered model has been in increased demand from both collectors and those willing to use this tough, utilitarian vehicle in the way it was designed for. It was only in 1989, following the introduction of the all-new Land Rover Discovery, that the Defender received its own name. This was not only a marketing exercise; the new Defender received a raft of upgrades, along with a new turbo diesel engine, which brought useful increases in power, torque, and fuel economy when compared with the old, normally aspirated diesel it was based on. Often boasting large 'Defender' logos, the Land Rover went through a continuous process of development, gaining disc brakes and power-assisted steering as standard during the 1990s, together with a host of other improvements.Originally registered on 1st August 1988 this is no ordinary Land Rover. This Defender has had a nut and bolt restoration in every sense of the word. Restomod is probably the best way to describe this Double cab pick-up as it has been restored to a magnificent standard and has had a few modifications carried out along the way. After purchasing the vehicle, the vendor stripped it back to nothing, this involved removing the body, engine, gearbox and axles. The chassis showed signs of corrosion so a new galvanised one was fitted, a new bulkhead was fitted at the same time. The engine was rebuilt by respected V8 engine rebuilder John Eales, the capacity was increased to 4.6 litres and output increased to a more than adequate 260 BHP. The transfer gearbox was rebuilt as were the differentials. The brakes were overhauled and upgraded as was the suspension, with anti-roll bars fitted front and rear. The bodywork was taken care of and the car has been repainted to a magnificent standard in Aintree Green. Originally a standard 110, the rear has been cut-off to make it a Double cab pick-up, strength was added by fitting a Land Rover roll-bar. The interior has been trimmed in tan leather and again this has been carried out to an exemplary standard, even the dashboard has been trimmed in leather. The loadspace area has been fitted with four inward facing seats making this effectively a ten-seater Land Rover. All of the ancillaries have been replaced, wheels, tyres, rear soft top, badges, in addition to central locking and rear camera. To build such a vehicle in this manner and to this standard would be in excess of £100,000. The quality of this outstanding vehicle has to be seen to be appreciated, viewing is highly recommended. Classic Defenders are becoming increasingly rare and popular, this 35 year old vehicle is in better condition than when it originally left Lode Lane.

1981 Rolls-Royce Camargue Transmission: automaticMileage:56694With plenty of money at the top of the market in the early 1970s, Rolls-Royce decided to try and conquer a little bit more of it by building a range-topping coupé to slot in above the Corniche in the model range. Using the Silver Shadow underpinnings and enlisting Pininfarina to style them, Rolls-Royce came up with the Camargue - Britain's most expensive car at a launch price of £29,250. Pininfarina ended up styling something reasonably handsome but also very derivative so there was a resemblance to a Fiat 130 coupé and Ferrari GT4 2+2 designs. The 6,750cc, V8 had more power and torque than the Corniche but, in truth, it didn't feel all that different to drive which might explain why the Corniche outsold the Camargue. That and, of course, the lofty price tag.Originally registered on 1st January 1981 this right hand drive Rolls-Royce will require recommissioning after being off the road for a number of years. Presented in gold with beige leather interior this Camargue also has a gold plated radiator shell. We are advised the engine runs and the car does move under its own steam, however there are no brakes on the car, hence the car will need to be trailered away from the auction. According to the HPI records this Rolls-Royce has only had two former keepers, the last change of ownership was 1st May 2014. Camargue's are becoming increasingly rare and sought-after, this example is supplied with a V5C registration document and is being offered for sale without reserve.*Interested parties should note that the images used are library images, photographs to follow*

2003 Ferrari 575M (Fiorano Handling Pack) Transmission: paddleMileage:26332The Ferrari 575M is an excellent example of Italian engineering and craftsmanship. It combines luxury, performance and comfort in one package. Released in 2002, this car was the successor to the 550 Maranello. The 575M saw several changes from its predecessor, including a larger engine and a redesigned interior. The 575M is powered by a 5.7 litre V12 engine that produces 508hp and 434 lb-ft of torque. This engine was mated to a six-speed manual transmission, or optional F1 gearbox. The 575M also features an adaptive suspension system, allowing it to adapt to the driver's needs and driving style. This car offers excellent performance, with a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds and a top speed of 202mph.This particular example is presented in Argento Nürburgring, with Blu Scuro leather interior. The car features the optional Fiorano Handling Pack, which comprises of a more sporting suspension setup, faster steering rack and larger brakes. This example was also specified with the highly desirable 19€ modular wheels, which give the car a much more sporting look. Another rare option which this car has, is the interior rollover bar, also trimmed in Blu Scuro leather. It comes with a comprehensive service history, with 14 services recorded, the most recent being an annual oil, filter and brake fluid change in February 2023 at Dick Lovett in Swindon. The car presents in very good general condition with the paintwork retaining a good shine and also the interior presents well. The car went to Bell Sport & Classic in February 2021 where they carried out a cambelt service, just 1,000 miles ago. This is a fantastic example, in a subtle colour combination,  with an attractively low mileage and would be a fantastic addition to any Ferrari collection.

1973 Volkswagen Beach Buggy by GP1Transmission: manualMileage:Bruce Meyers is quoted as saying, €œI'm an artist and I wanted to bring a sense of movement and gesture to the Manx. Dune buggies have a message: fun. They're playful to drive and should look like it. Nothing did at the time.€ Sure enough, using a basic VW chassis and engine, this radical design concept proved an instant hit both in the US and then, later, in Europe. This wonderful example looks superb in striking orange coachwork over a recently re-trimmed black interior, it is a (useful) four-seater with comfortable bucket seats to the fore. Reported to run and drive very well, this Manx looks outstanding and sits proudly on a set of original 1972 polished Porsche Fuchs wheels as used on the Carrera race cars of the period, said to be worth circa £6,000 alone. Used sparingly, the long-standing previous owner has only recorded some 1,900 miles in the last 18 years and with the current owner, even less! It should be noted that is fitted with the desirable and powerful 1600GT engine offering spirited driving for those more skilled drivers. It has been serviced recently, mileage-wise and is offered with a number of old MoT test certificates, a current UK registration document and a full one year's MoT. These are generating much interest at the moment so get ahead of the crowd and enjoy the summer.Interested parties should note that this vehicle is not a ‘Meyers Manx’ example. 1998 Land Rover Defender 90 V8 50th Anniversary Edition Transmission: automaticMileage:47000The Land Rover Defender was launched in 1948 and, incredibly, production only finished in January 2016 after a continuous run of 67 years. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. A full-length bonnet, revised grille, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles are the most noticeable changes. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin. This wonderful 50th Anniversary Edition was supplied new in September 1998, to its first owner who covered a mere 41,000 miles and the second owner has only added another 6,000 miles to that total! All the vehicle's services are recorded in the handbook, plus other invoices for occasional other works that have been carried out. Only 385 of these limited edition 50th Anniversary models were made for the U.K. and this particular Land Rover is original with no modifications or restoration being carried out. Presented in Atlantis Blue with grey cloth interior and powered by the smooth V8 engine which is mated to an automatic gearbox. 2017 Ultima GTR Transmission: manualMileage:3300Ultima GTR - The fastest accelerating and decelerating supercar of all time and multiple world speed record holder. The exciting Ultima GTR road car is the result of over 20 years of extensive research and development and is a product that takes the Ultima marque to sensational levels of fit, finish and performance. The world renowned GTR really is a supercar in every sense of the word which has officially humbled every last mainstream car on the planet bar none. In 2006, for instance, the GTR was crowned as the fastest production car in the world, beating the likes of the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo and McLaren F1 to a plethora of world speed acceleration and deceleration records. In 2007, the GTR was independently timed around the Top Gear test track and was found to be a blistering 6.2 seconds per lap faster than the £450,000 Ferrari Enzo, staggering the onlookers witnessing the remarkable feat! Aerodynamic efficiency and balance has been of paramount importance on a car that is capable of over 200mph. Attention has centred around the length of the rear of the car to help clean up the airflow and thus improve down force, whilst maintaining a short front and rear overhang has ensured that the Ultima performs perfectly on normal roads taking speed bumps and ferry ramps in its stride. These developments have been comprehensively tested at MIRA (the Motor Industry Research Association) where the group was so impressed by the results that it sought an Ultima GTR as the centrepiece for many exhibition appearances publicising the extensive facilities that they have available for car manufacturers. The ultra clean look of the GTR and the faultless self-coloured gel coat bodywork has not been achieved through luck, but rather by design. The production car feel of the Ultima is immediately apparent, from the specially moulded headlight housings and covers to the immaculate panel fit and lack of any external body catches. Huge wheels front and back fill the wheel arches declaring its performance potential and the sensational appearance of the car has been applauded by designers and connoisseurs alike. This fabulous example is presented in the iconic and nostalgic Rothmans colours synonymous with the Le Mans Porsche sports cars. It is fitted with a 6.2 litre fuel injected LS3 GM performance crate engine with EFI ECU, mated to a six-speed Porsche G50 gearbox supplied by Ultima. It has an FIA roll cage, lowered floor pan, twin fuel tanks, big brake kit, Alcantara pneumatic seats with adjusters, double skin package and a Thatcham Category 6 alarm immobiliser. Its air box was designed by Gardner Douglas, has LED lights and carbon fibre box lids. The starter motor (new) and alternator have both been upgraded and the engine has been tuned by Wortec. Air conditioning has been fitted and the instrumentation is Ultima with a leather and Alcantara dashboard which is standard factory fitted. The car sits on three-piece Billet wheels, and we understand that this fabulous sports car weighs in at only 1093kg! A truly stunning sports car with shattering performance to match, superb at the fraction of the price of more familiar Italian rivals!!

1972 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Super Transmission: manualMileage:37661The first Giulia 105 series of motor cars, the Giulia Ti, was introduced to the motoring press at Monza on the 27th June 1962 in Berlina (saloon) form. Driven by the classic Alfa twin cam, engine capacity was increased from its predecessor, the Giulietta, from 1290cc to 1570cc and produced 92bhp in the new guise. The new car also included a five-speed column change gearbox, umbrella handbrake and strip instrumentation. Designed by Dr. Orazio Satta Puglia, the initial look is of a somewhat square but compact motor car however, look more closely; the detailed swaging along the roof, wings, and doors along with a subtle roof spoiler and Kamm tail gave encouraging results in the wind tunnel. In 1965, at the Geneva Motor Show, the Giulia Super was introduced. Based on the Ti, improvements included a floor change gearbox and centrally mounted handbrake as well as attractive round instruments with ancillary gauges mounted centrally. Twin Weber carburettors were fitted and the power was increased to 112bhp.Completed on 16th October 1972, this Italian built, right hand drive Giulia 1600 Super was destined for delivery to its first owner in Cyprus. Ordered in Verde Pino (Pine Green) with contrasting Wild Boar Tex (tan) interior, it was sold by the Cyprian Alfa Romeo dealer D.J. Demades and Sons of Nicosia and was first registered on 15th November 1972. Rarely found with any classic, the supplied two service books show regular maintenance carried out for the first ten years by Demades and Sons. The history file also shows that since the car's import to the U.K. in 2013, it has been well maintained, with a file full of receipts from reputable Alfa Romeo specialist companies such as Alfaholics, Classic Alfa and Bournemouth based Autolusso. In fact, Autolusso were commissioned, in 2017, to carry out a full rebuild of the engine at a cost of over £6,000. The engine rebuild reportedly transformed the car along with several other upgrades to the handling, including; the fitting of an uprated front anti-roll bar, a set of Bilstein shock absorbers, replacement of various joints, suspension arms and bushes along with the fitment of a set of TZ/TI Super wheels and tyres. The car presents beautifully and the vendor reports it to be a pleasure to drive with the bodywork, engine bay and interior all presenting very well.Supplied with a V5C registration document, file of receipts, MoT test certificates and its original service books, original build manuals and workshop details as well as two sets of keys. 1964 MG B Roadster Transmission: manualMileage:62864Conceived in the late 1950s and launched in 1962, the MGB would turn out to be one of the most successful sportscars of all time. Attractively styled, cheap to run and easily maintained by the home mechanic, the 'B' carried on MG's traditional role of providing affordable, sports car motoring for the ordinary enthusiast. The MGB was mechanically similar to the preceding MGA, though with heavier, unitary construction bodyshell. To compensate for the newcomer's increased weight, the existing B-Series engine was stretched from 1622 to 1798cc while the MGB's aerodynamically efficient lines made the most of the maximum available 95bhp to achieve a top speed which just topped the magic 'ton'. A 'right first time' design that changed little over the years apart from the adoption of a more robust five-main-bearing engine in 1965 (fitted from the start of GT production that autumn), a minor facelift for 1970 and the adoption of plastic bumpers (to comply with US legislation) for 1975, the 'B' enjoyed an 18 year production life and sales totalling in excess of 500,000 cars. Its popularity remaining undiminished today, the classic MGB is one of the easiest sports cars of its era to run and maintain in the 21st Century, being served by a worldwide industry of spare parts and service providers.Presented in British Racing Green, this 1964 MBG Roadster is the perfect foil for this summer's motoring.
