Colour Print M.A.Kinnear "Brief Encounter" Limited edition 24/750 Signed by the artist, the pilot of the depicted aircraft "Red Nichols-Palmer" with further signatures of Jonnie Johnson, Syd Martin, Chick Fowles, John Tilsvan. Print 430 x 330; total size including signatures 630 x 440. Unframed together with Colour Print Ronal Homes DFC "Against All Odds" Limited edition 46/200 Depicting the artists own endeavours as 101 Squadron Lancaster pilot on the night of 12th - 13th August 1944. Following an attack on a target at Russelsheim the subject was attacked by a Messerschmitt at 22,000 ft. Following extensive efforts by Flight Engineer, Stan Waind and flying on just one engine, the fire was eventually brought under control. With the inboard engines restarted, the aircraft safely landed at Woodbridge with no flaps, no brakes and very little fuel. This print is signed by the artist/pilot Ronald Homes DFC and Flight Engineer Stan Waind DFM. Print 470 x 390, total size including signatures and narrative, 550 x 500. Unframed. (2)
