A Gauge 1 finescale American Pennsylvania RR 4-8-2 Locomotive and Tender by 'M I A Locomotive Production', the case and loco bearing M I A's limited edition No 26 of 139 built, the engine, of 'Japanese Brass' type construction finished in plain black as Pennsy No. 6725, with fixed 8-coupled wheelbase and unflanged intermediate driving wheels, much fine detail including twin Westinghouse pumps, air and oil pipework, the 12-wheeled tender with lookout position to rear and 2x 9v batteries under coal space for undetermined purpose, may be digital-fitted, overall VG-E, appears very little or not run, in original wooden carrying case, case VG, complete with X-Acto oiler and miniature footplate tools, white handling gloves, but lacks any paperwork, instructions etc.
A boxed Doll & Co Vertical Live Steam Stationary Engine, standing 12½" high over chimney, with side-mounted single oscillating cylinder, finely-cast 2¾" diameter flywheel, the boiler with water gauge, whistle, safety valve and filler plug, cast base in dark blue with elegant light blue and red lining, 'DC' motif to side of firebox, and complete with original single-wick burner and slot-on chimney, VG, appears very little used, in original card box with wood-wool padding, box F, lid damaged, stamped only 'Foreign' to one end
An Assemblage of Live Steam Components, including a rivet-seamed marine-type boiler 6" diameter x 10" long, with double-row riveted seam and single flue for gas burner or similar, a curious 'home-made' D-shaped boiler with cocks and water gauge fittings to one end, chimney close to the other end with two cross-tubes, a whistle and other fittings, a Watt-type bevel-driven governor, free-standing, approx 6" high, a small commercial-made boiler and oscillating engine, the boiler approx 2" diameter x 5½" long, the engine on cast brass pedestal, but lacking baseplate, firebox surround etc, an engineered marine-type single-cylinder steam engine or pump of approx 1" borex 1" stroke, with brass cylinder supported on 4 pillars from an alloy base, 2 spirit burners (both incomplete), a cast steam dome and other unidentified parts, and a box of approx 30 wooden sleepers with cast chairs and loose fittings, apparently for 3¼ gauge, all F, grubby, all require work (qty as listed)
An unmade 'Kit' and Drawings for a Reeves single-cylinder Vertical Steam Engine, the original drawing dated 1947 for a ¾" x ¾" double-acting engine, drawing P-F, divided into two main sections with wear to folds but fully legible, with a photocopied 'back-up' set, the 'kit' including cast brass engine base and upright frame, cylinder and valve chest, all machined, with rough brass castings for cylinder top and bottom caps, eccentrics, and other smaller parts, and rough iron flywheel casting, a small tub of bolts possibly for assembly (but appear rather large for this machine), all G-VG, the kit evidently lacks most steel parts or materials, e.g. crankshaft, piston rod, slide bars and other fixings (qty)
A Mamod Live Steam SP3 twin-cylinder Stationary Engine and Workshop, the engine on red base with whistle and a Meccano adaptation to steam regulator, long-type brass spirit burner, with original instruction leaflet inscribed 'purchased at Hamleys, Dec 1965', the engine mounted on a board together with lineshaft and 5 workshop tools, puncher, stamper, hammer, grinding and polishing wheels, mostly VG, some amateur soldered repairs to chimney end of boiler, with plastic funnel and a later Mamod products leaflet
A 7¼" Gauge Live Steam Coal-fired Freelance 2-8-2 Locomotive and Tender Project, of unknown design, (in certain respects resembling Henry Greenly's famous 2½" gauge 'Boiler Trials' 2-8-2 against LBSC's Atlantic - put obviously much larger!) in part-dismantled and rusty state, a large-boilered design with parallel barrel, rivetted-construction wide 'Ivatt-style' firebox and side-window cab, latterly painted in mid-green as No 465 with brass nameplates 'WILBY' and painted 'BMR' to the 6-wheel tender, loco frames featuring twin outside cylinders and lever-operated Walschaerts gear, the boiler with water gauge, pressure gauge, rear and side clack valves, overall P, axle bearings appear free but considerable rusting throughout, motion seized, boiler separate from frames, with a large tub of loose parts related to this engine including reversing lever and quadrant, footplate sections with nameplates, mechanical lubricator, various rods and linkages, pipework and other parts, not checked for completeness
An Interesting and Early approx 1" scale scratch-built live steam Traction Engine by unknown maker, with single cylinder and lever-operated reversing, this appears to be an older model with some more recent repairs/additions probably by Cherry's as their pressure gauge is fitted, the boiler is externally-fired (enclosed), possibly intended for spirit-firing though now fitted with ashpan and perforated 'grate', original parts including the stamped 'tin' wheels, approx ¾" x ¾" cylinder mounted on cast frame with crankshaft bearings, approx 4" diameter flywheel, water pump driven from eccentric at opposite end, disengageable gear-drive to off-side rear wheel, manual-operated cylinder drain cocks and worm-operated steering, more modern fittings include the Cherry's pressure gauge, safety valve to top of regulator block and fittings to water tank at rear, overall G, crankshaft bent on flywheel side, some parts painted in black but the majority unpainted
Mamod SR1a Steam Roller and early TE1 Traction Engine with a home-made Stationary Engine, the Mamods both in red/green, the Roller with reversing engine, G-VG, complete with flat-packed box, scuttle, tablet burner, drive belt and whistle, the TE1 with non-reversing engine and exhaust regulator, F, lacks scuttle, burner, drive belt and canopy, together with a scratch-built single-cylinder oscillating engine mounted on a large wood/metal base with brass boiler, F-G, lacks burner (3)

Boxed restored Stationary Steam Engines by Signalling Equipment Ltd, a Model 1520 'Minor' with single oscillating cylinder mounted on firebox, in original brown card box, a No. 1530 'Junior' engine with side-mounted cylinder, similarly re-finished on green bases, both as restored VG-E, with brass filling funnels (one split), one 1-wick and one 2-wick burners (these are possibly repro items) together with an original SEL instruction sheet and an original unrestored and uncommon boxed SEL Marine Engine unit, VG, boxes varying F-VG, and 2 small plastic boxes of assorted spare parts most of which appear to be SEL (qty)
Restored early Stationary Steam Engines by Malins (Mamod), both single-cylinder oscillating engines, a 'Minor' over-type with disc flywheel in silver, circa 1939, and a circa 1948 SE1 side-mounted engine with red disc flywheel, both in red-painted flat bases drilled for Meccano mountings, each with metal funnel and (probably repro) spirit burner, both as restored VG, the latter in original plain brown card box (box F), together with an original early Power Press machine in red and green with brass flywheel, in original 'St Mary's Row' box, VG, box G-VG and a copy of P S Malins book 'Mamod - The Story of Malins Models', VG-E (qty)
Late and early Mamod live steam Stationary Engines, the late model a boxed Smethwick-made SP6 with fixed cylinder and eccentric-operated valve with slip-reversing, regulator, water gauge, in blue and red with polished brass boiler, E, appears never steamed, with burner tray, solid fuel tablets and funnel, box E, together with an early SE1 engine arranged for wick-type spirit burner, with whistle and exhaust steam regulator, F, generally grubby with slightly bent steam/exhaust pipes, original burner missing (2)

A Victorian brass inlaid and silver fitted rosewood dressing case, by Dalton, 85 Quadrant and Regent St, London, with cut glass jars, two silver mounted, caps and covers engine turned and/or finely pierced and engraved by George Reid, one of the travelling wells and unpierced square cover by Frances Douglas, London 1837, the square cover 1841, three bottle caps unmarked, the box lined in gilt tooled navy morocco, a mirror to the underside of the lid, brahma lock, 33.5cm l, key, 5ozs 5dwts weighable Bottle caps slightly dented around the sides, the bottles retaining their glass stoppers, one of the stoppers a replacement and chipped and the neck, not visible when cap in situ. The other glass undamaged. Silver all in good condition, no engraving or erasure. Lock does not work
