An Art Deco silver and enamel compact by Adie Brothers, Birmingham 1933, of hexagonal form with green guilloche enamel decoration to cover, engine turned detail to reverse, 8cm wide, together with a George V silver and enamel pill box, Langstone Silver Works, Birmingham 1923, 38mm diameter (at fault), and a silver coloured pill box with abalone shell inlaid cover, 36mm wide (3)CR; Compact: Some chips to the corners of the enamel cover. Short, deep scratch to one corner, general scratching and wear to enamel commensurate with age and use throughout. A couple of minor dents to the side of the compact, moderate scratching and wear. Cover opens smoothly and closes with a snap, but does not sit completely flush. Conchoidal fracture to the bottom right of the mirror, about 1cm wide. Minor wear to the engine turned detail, general scratching and wear.Enamel pill box: Large chip to the enamel edge of the cover, 13mm wide, 4mm deep. There is another, small chip on the other side of the cover. Light denting to the edge of the cover. Heavy denting to the body, heavy scratching and wear, but no splitting or signs of repair.Abalone example: Denting to the body. Hinge is damaged, pin is bent, and as a result the cover is wobbly. Shell is in good order, no cracks, chips of losses.

1920s gold pendant locket/pill box of square cushion shape with engine turned decoration, test as approximately 14ct gold.Condition report: Total gross weight, 18.7 grams. Believed to be continental, not hallmarked but tests as approximately 14ct gold. The interior is lacking a mirror. There is a stain on the front near the hinge where someone previously had acid tested the metal and another on the inside. The engine turned decoration is still crisp. The measurements are approximately 43mm square.

COVENTRY EAGLE AUTOETTE; an autocycle with 98cc Villiers Junior De luxe two stroke engine, offered with various accessories and extras including leg shields, horn, lighting, pump and canvas saddle bag with tool roll. With V5 and 1957 tax disc.PROVENANCE : The first owner purchased the machine in 1940, from Simisters of Macclesfield, registered GMB 916. It was taken off the road in 1957. The Autoette was then purchased by the present vendor from the original owner's family on 4/12/80. The original registration was transferred and the Autoette subsequently re-registered with the non-transferable registration GSJ 375 - this was completed in 1986, therefore the V5 states acquisition date as 26/01/86. Additional InformationThe autocycle was refurbished and was running in the 1980s. However the vendor advises that it will not at present start and recommissioning will be needed.
