A 1959 Austin Healey 100/6, registration number 3724 KX, chassis number BN42075944, metallic blue over cream with dark blue interior, wire wheels, 2639 cc, overdrive, V5 document, MOT February 2005, this car was bought by the current owner in 1993, when the hood was replaced, the engine re-built in 1995/6, and in 2003 was overhauled and had a lead free petrol conversion by Peter Farmer Performance Racing, Wilton (standard performance). A new exhaust and manifold were fitted in 2000. 2002 saw the outrigger replaced, shut lines improved, and a re-spray by MPH (Moreton in the Marsh). Under current ownership it has been used extensively on tour, especially the AHC Highland 3 Day Events (1996, '98 and 2001). Built in 1959 the chassis indicates a LHD, although it was destined for Japan (right hand drive country) but appears not to have gone over the water as it was registered Feb 12th 1959 as 4589 AC (and subsequently ANO 952A in 1973 and then 3724 KX in 1991)

A William IV snuff box,+ with concaved, engine-turned sides, a gilt interior and raised shell and scroll borders, the cover inscribed "Presented to Mr James Thomson as a mark of respect on his retiring from the firm of Messrs Cleland & Tassie, by the workmen in their employment, Glasgow June 18th 1836" by Francis Clarke, Birmingham 1833, 3.4in (8.7cm) long, 5.5oz.

1961 B.S.A. 175c.c. Bantam Super Reg.No.543 UM Engine No. ED7B18613 Frame No. D722222. Between 1950 and 1970 every motor cyclist must have experienced their first ride on a "Bantam"; capacity increases and design improvements kept the machine in tune with public taste until the Japanese invasion. This one is a tidy original bike and comes with green log book and current V5 document.
1955 Excelsior 150c.c. Courier C2 Reg.No. DSL 836 Engine No. C/1419 Frame No. SPC 346. Introduced for the 1955 season, the Courier was fitted with a 147c.c. engine of Excelsior's own manufacture coupled to a three speed gearbox. This unusual survivor is in very good restored condition and comes with the original manual.
1936 Ariel 500c.c. Competition Reg.No.CUB 432 Engine No. CO 1444 Frame No. F623. A rare very early competition version of Ariel's well proven "Red Hunter" VH model. This one has been in present ownership for several years and used, as intended, in trials. It has been slightly modified to suit the owner's taste but can be readily retuned to original specification. The old buff log book shows that a past owner was Geoff Fletcher, a famous Yorkshire Trials rider.
1957 Triumph 200c.c. "Tiger Cub" Reg.No. SHO 970 Engine No. T2035213 Frame No. T35213. Introduced in 1954 the "Cub" was the baby of Triumph's Tiger Range. It offered a genuine 60 m.p.h, and returned in excess of 100 m.p.g., it was an instant success with younger riders. This example is in very tidy condition, ready for its new owner to enjoy motor cycling at a leisurely pace.
1938 A.J.S. 350c.c. "Silver Streak" Reg.No. DFD 370 Engine No. 38/26SS6817 Frame No. 9172. Built as a super sports version in 250c. c., 350c.c., and 500c.c. versions the "Silver Streak" models were extensively chrome plated, highly tuned and designed to appeal to the sporting rider. In complete contrast to the traditional A.J.S. black and gold finish they were a sign of improved times after the slump earlier in the decade. This example, from a private collection, has seen little use in recent years and is finished to a high standard.
1961 Norton 500c.c. "Dominator" Reg.No. USJ 330 Engine/Frame Nos. 90404. Featuring the famous "Featherbed" frame, the Norton Dominator was known as the best road-holder of its day; in 500c.c. and 600c.c. capacities they were built in direct competition to market leaders Triumph and B.S.A.. This example comes complete with a history file containing sundry literature, old style log book and current V5 document. A very nice original machine.
