Advertising Cards measuring 11½" 8" on thick card, qty 4 comprising:- Lanchester 'Forty' Motor Car circa 1920's. Also Armstrong Siddeley, 1922 version costing £575. Also Daimler from £700 for the 20HP version and Dunlop Tyres 1921. Some staining but very early and has nice images of vehicles etc. Together with a large Pop-up Motoring Book measuring 14" x 10", entitled 'The Modern Motor Car' by Shell. Front and back cover has image of driver with goggles by Maurice Beck. Circa 1920's it is in very good condition but the bottom staple has rusted through causing that part of the cover to detach. Must be viewed to appreciate the colourful cut-outs of the motor car and engine components. Together with a colourful Picture Book measuring 13" x 10", circa 1930's entitled 'The Book Of Motors' by Birn Brothers London. Excellent condition.
A French early 19th century ormolu mounted mantle clock, the case with resting figure with basket and tree behind upon a green patinated ground the engine turned silvered dial with floral cast bezel and bell striking silk suspension movement marked Vecten, Paris and numbered 20 to the back plate, all upon a shaped and moulded rectangular gilt base with scroll feet 33cm wide, 45cm high
