Retailed by Boucheron, a silver cigarette case, maker's mark incuse P & R, London 1937, rectangular form, engine-turned decoration with bands of three colour gold decoration, the interior inscribed 'From Mother May 1943', with a silk pouch cover, length 10.2cm, approx. weight 4.6oz.Provenance: Stephen Demetriadi and then by family descent to the current owner. The case was given to Stephen Demetradi by his Mother in 1943, when he was serving in Palestine with the Cheshire Yeomanry.

Three vintage gentleman's wristwatches including a 1930s 9ct gold cased example, the engine turned silvered dial set with Arabic numerals, smaller seconds subsidiary dial and outer dot minute track, with crown wind movement, initials possibly 'GMC' and the date 5.11.30 verso, on black leather strap, also a Hermes gentleman's wristwatch with octagonal shaped bezel, line markers and quartz movement, on leather strap, and a Jana wristwatch, the silvered dial set with line markers and number 12, with crown wind movement and stainless steel back, on brown leather strap (3).Condition Report: The 1930s example has been wound and appears to be in going order, the back of the case is stamped '9ct', there is some possible solder/blemish to the front of the case, the strap is worn. The Hermes watch appears to be in going order. The Jana example has been wound and is in going order, however it stops and starts.
