The car runs and stops, although currently the clutch is stuck on. Sold as a rebuild project. The engine has just been serviced and, the vendor advises, that the gearbox is in good order and that the overdrive is working. The central aluminium tub was not removed from the frame during rebuild as there was no rust any where on the chassis and frame. The front suspension is a narrowed Vauxhall Viva, the rear axle a Ford 100E (a Ford 105E Anglia axle comes with the car). A Ford pre-crossflow 1500 GT engine was purchased as a rebuilt unit. Gearbox is a Ford 118E with 2000E ratios with 105E rails (reverse gear can be reluctant to engage fully). All the braking components are new or refurbished. It is a dual circuit system. The wiring, lights and gauges are all new. Currently the car is running on twin 1.5" SUs on an Alexander manifold (modified to fit). It comes with a twin Dellorto DHLA 40s set up. It will run on this set up, but poorly. The Dellortos need rebuilding and rejetting or replacing. It comes with receipts for the components totalling almost £2,000.

New pistons, racing conrods, adjustable timing gear, high-lift cam and stainless TT exhaust were just a few of the upgrades and replacements. A list of works undertaken is provided. The history file contains many receipts dating from 2015 to 2018.
Bachmann 32-503 BR lined black early emblem standard class 5MT engine and tender lamps added (G-BG), a 31-450 A BR lined black late crest Ivatt 2-6-2 tank engine (G-BFG) and a Hornby R 2714 BR lined black class 4MT engine and tender no. 75005, possibly DCC fitted (G-BG), together with an Airfix suburban coach converted to push/pull coach (G)
A Trix Twin Railway red box containing parts for an operating mineral train, 3 hopper wagons, goods brake with lights,freelance 0-4-0 tank engine, 2 sacks coal, shovel operating switch, track etc (G-BG) and a further set box containing freelance 0-4-0 engine and tender (repainted), 2 short LNER coaches and 1 BR, 12 wagons pre and post-war etc (all G)
