Mainly modern tinplate items to include; Shuttle Train, juggling elephant, Daffy Duck tricycle, motorcycle with sidecar, 2 models, one large, one miniature, American Old Fashioned tin truck `Eastwood`, friction runner boat and fire engine (these 8 all near mint-mint and boxed), plus Tonka van (a/f), Czech road roller (NM), Tri-ang playtrain, 2 locos, 4 wagons and track, plus a curious petrol tanker made from Vietnamese Coca Cola tins and a West German motorcycle (friction), plus various associated literature
Martin Evans type Beam Engine (ref. Oliver Smith Model Engineer Vols 121-122), In polished brass and grey paint, centre column engine with pickering type governor, slip eccentric valve gear 9I inch flywheel on cast alloy bedplate mounted on wood plinth with brass feet, 17 inches long, 8? wide, 12 inches tall (Illus.)
Finely built and lined out 1 inch:1ft scale Allchin traction engine `The Moonraker`, registration HR4200, single cylinder, 2 speed with usual fittings, fitted with road tyres, 2 front and rear lamps, works plate on steam chest, bell type whistle, set of tools, vendor states a very good runner (Illus.)
Exhibition quality steam plant comprising horizontal mill engine with single cylinder with 2I inch stroke x 1I inch bore, driving 7I inch flywheel, slip eccentric valve gear, centrifugal governor on steam supply on bed plate with brass plaque marked `LJ Evans 1988`, crankshaft also driving water pump to large boiler with lubricated steam supply to steam chest, twin safety valves, twin sight glasses, pressure gauge and brass plate `Tested 180`, supplied with water from its own tank via the engine pump and/or a Stuart boiler feed pump with displacement lubricator, with a separate coal storage bunker on base and with set of tools and with 6-12 volt steam raising blower. A fine scratch built collection of 5 models all mounted on a wooden trolley with detachable top. Models are of a 2 inch scale Dairy engine (Model Engineer 6.12.1985), vertical gas fired boiler and engine on 4-wheel trolley after John Haining design, with plans plus a fine single cylinder portable engine with gas burner with belt drive to a 2 inch scale corn mill also John Haining plans Model Engineer 19.5.2000. The dairy engine has belt drive to a Scratter (Cyder) Mill as featured in Model Engineer 7.8.1992 with plans. The final model on the base is of a hot air engine with gas burner and heavy flywheel forming 3 demonstration pieces. All made and finished in the same colour scheme to a high standard and readily transportable and easily removed from the trolley if required
To Martin Evans design, 2I inch gauge live steam coal fired, 4-4-0 engine and tender `Eagle`, based on a GNR engine and finished in green (no numbers applied but in an enveloped with original boiler test certificate dated 29.3.85 with copy of Model Mechanics 1979 featuring this loco, other relevant plans and documentation and invoices. Usual cab fittings, water pump in tender with hand lever and steam raising blower. Looks unfired, surface corrosion in some drive wheels (Illus.)
Unusual scratch built marine type steam plant comprising radial tubed horizontal boiler with usual fittings Stuart Sun type twin cylinder engine with lubricator, overhead piston valves, 3/4 inch bore and stroke with coupling and drive to gearbox providing drive to 2 pairs of contra rotating propeller shafts. Also drive for water feed pump (not fitted). All on later chipboard base.
Scratch built steam powered model of a side paddle twin funnel shallow draft steam ship. Fitted for radio control and with substantial twin cylinder marine engine with chain drive to paddles and with hand water pump, engine fed from Stuart vertical, clad boiler with supply tank in bow. Model in need of restoration, approx 53 inches overall and on stand (Illus.)
Scratch built detailed tugboat `Acklam Cross II, Middlesbrough`, with very unusual petrol engine (not connected to prop shaft), and electric engine for propulsion. Single screw, has been fitted for radio control but needs restoration. 48 inches overall on cradle. Petrol engine for sound and smoke effects? (Illus.)
