The grille and cover open and close tightly and neatly. No personalised engraving. In generally good original condition.

Goblet has a number of dents to body and foot, clear marks. Flask has clear marks, very light scratches with age, two minor dents to body, otherwise very good. A RUSSIAN SILVER SALT circular, with engine-turned ground, engraved L v. F.F. to a cartouche, inscribed on the underside. 4.5cm diameterMarks clear to underside. Inscription reads 'v. Grossmama / Sophie v. Falz-Fein' (possibly Sophie von Falz-Fein, née Knauff, b.1835, d.1919). Stands upright on three feet, no rocking. Gilded to interior. Small crack to base, lightly visible inside and underneath. Surface tarnish and light scratches commensurate with age and use.
