A highly customised version of the well known Keith Cameron Showmans Engine, made out of Meccano, model is composed of parts from the initial ‘Mechanics Made Easy’ of 1907, right through to post war zinc and black components, dimensions; 8.5 x 5 x 4.75. Model is raised on wooden plinth finished with transfers and encased in a removable plexiglass case-exhibition quality. Model made by Roy E Hallsworth of the Henley Society of Meccano Engineers”

Oval works plate to read ‘By Royal Letters Patent No. 7851 Aveling & Porter Limited, Rochester, Kent, England’ on black ground plus plate curved to fit smokebox door, to read ‘8 tons’ and a flat plate to read ‘The Rambler’ these last two on red ground
Triple expansion marine engine in the style of W Martin & Co., West Ham, London, 1:30 scale from the full size original, as described in The Model Engineer & Amateur Electrician March 1898. The scratch built modern engine is built from Martins original blueprints of 60A Boleyn Road, East Ham, E7, which are sold with the engine but are somewhat distressed. The engine is finely constructed as per the original and measures 18½ inches x 14 at the base x 21 inches to top of piston rod. Constructed from steel, painted steel and brass, the 3 cylinders are lagged with hardwood segments. Full details from Model Engineer are supplied with the model, it is mounted on a steel frame sub base with alloy chequerplate walkway and ladder to upper gantry to reversing hand wheel. Sold on its own 4 wheel trolley table
From Reeves Castings we believe and to Edgar 7 Westbury design diagonal paddle engine with twin inclined cylinders and Stephensons valve gear coupled to 5¾ inch diameter paddle wheels, with reversing lever, open pot lubricators, all mounted on a brass plate, 6½ inches tall x 12½ inches wide x 11 inches
1½ live steam Burrell traction engine finished in maroon with black and yellow detailing according to vendor this well finished finely detailed model was built from Plastow Engineering drawings model measures 24” length, 16” high, 10½” wide. No current boiler certificate and appears unsteamed. Overall a well finished model sold with metal spades to fit rear wheels.
