A mahogany quarter-striking mantel clock, retailed by Knight and Gibbons, London, late 20th century, the eight-day movement ting-tang striking the hours and half-hour on two bells and stamped Franz Hermle to backplate, the circular white Roman numeral dial with Arabic five minutes to outer track and inscribed Knight & Gibbons, LONDON to centre within an engine turned brass break-arch mask, the case in the George III taste with brass handle to the inverted bell top above arched brass grille side frets, on cavetto moulded skirt base with brass disc feet, 29cm (11.5ins) high excluding handle.
1963 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III saloon, Registration No 785 FLP, V8 6,230cc engine automatic. This elegant classic Rolls-Royce was originally supplied to the famous British screen and stage actor Sir Ralph Richardson. It is strikingly finished in bright cardinal red with magnolia leather hide upholstery with red piping. It has recently been fitted with four new radial tyres, two new front springs, a new kingpin and hub. It is supplied with a large history file with original order and service documents, restoration bills including a bill for £6,046 for paintwork in 2009.
