1985 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit, Registration Number: 694 VTW Chassis Number: SCAZS0005FCH13317 Engine Number: 13317 Engine capacity: 6750cc V8 Transmission: Automatic Supplied by Jack Barclay Limited and with just four previous owners from new this is a very good example of Rolls-Royces Silver Spirit, finished in metallic Cherry with a magnolia leather interior. Starting easily from cold and running and driving well on inspection, the recorded mileage of 50,574 would appear to be correct (but not guaranteed). 14 MOT test certificates dating from 1991 to date and included in the paperwork accompanying the car go some way to confirming this. Oil pressure is good and importantly, the air conditioning system worked well on inspection, further, the braking system has recently been overhauled by P&A Wood. The bodywork is very good overall and the stainless and chrome brightwork good throughout. Inside, the seats are in very good order and the walnut cappings fair. The brown carpets are also in good order although the drivers heel pad has cracked and would benefit from replacement. A period Blaupunkt Toronto stereo is fitted and the car comes with V5 registration document, a quantity of old MOT test certificates, handbook, sales and service book. The car is MOT tested until 4th April 2006 and desirable accessories include a full set of lambs wool over-rugs.
c. 1956 Morris Minor Convertible Conversion, Registration Number: KFE 507 Chassis Number: FBF11/42595Y Engine Number: 9M UH 594397 Engine capacity: 1098cc Transmission: Manual Finished in Ivory with Burgundy hood and red vinyl interior, this Minor is in good presentable order overall. The car is an older conversion from a saloon and the registration documents have been updated to show the change. Whilst registered as a 1956 car and carrying an appropriate registration number, many features suggest that the car is of a later build. The vendor purchased the car over six years ago and has had enormous fun in it in that time, even achieving a Bronze award at the local Thurlow and Haverhill Steam show in August 2003. The car started easily on inspection from cold and runs healthily. The vinyl hood is in good order and folds neatly and a hood bag is provided to tidy it nicely in the down position. MOT tested until 6th July 2006, the car is offered for sale with V5C registration document, an older V5 document and a small amount of paperwork and expired MOT test certificates.
