A well built and presented 4 inch scale Garrett single cylinder traction engine, built to drawings by Baldock & Valentine (full set supplied), boiler built by Franklin & Bell, design pressure 400PSI, working pressure 200PSI, with road trailer, boiler certificate dated 02.04.04, plate certificate also supplied
A fine example of a 5 inch gauge 0-6-0 LMS class 3F tank engine, based on 47383 built in 1926 by the Vulcan Foundry and now preserved on the Severn Valley Railway. From an original Samuel Johnson design, redesigned by Sir Henry Fowler, the model was built to a very high standard from drawings by Martin Evans, together with a series of articles published in the Model Engineer 1997 by the late F Deane, with the exception of the silver soldering of the boiler and the external machining of the cylinder block casting. These two aspects were done by Ernie Millard, Chairman of Canterbury & District Model Engineering Society and Granville Askham, President of the same society. A comprehensive set of photographs showing all stages of construction, comes with the engine, also the drawings. The engine is said not to have been fired and is in original pristine condition, there is however no boiler certificate
A very well constructed 2 inch scale model of a 3 ton Ruston Proctor, single cylinder, class SD light steam tractor, built to a very high standard by the late F Deane from drawings by John Hainings and a series of articles published in the Model Engineer Magazine, which comes with the engine. The engine is said to be unfired, but there is no boiler certificate. There is a comprehensive set of photographs showing parts and various stages of construction
A Hornby M1 passenger set comprising: 0-4-0 engine & tender, 3435 red, 2 Pullman coaches 'Marjorie' & 'Aurelia', some blemishes to engine, mainly cab window silvering & surface rust to running gear, coaches have minor blemishes, box lid scuffed and missing small areas of sides, together with M station (BG & G)
