A SMALL MID 19TH CENTURY SATINWOOD FUSEE MANTEL CLOCK the shaped case with applied leaf carved decoration enclosing a fine foliate engraved and engine-turned gilt dial with Roman chapter ring fronting a signed arch plated eight-day fusee movement with anchor escapement22.5cm high The clock is in very good original condition, good colour and patina to the case with no losses or damage, missing key. The dial is in good condition with original hands, the movement is clean and in working order.

A LATE 18TH CENTURY SWISS PENDULE D’OFFICIER QUARTER CHIMING CLOCK the well cast arched ormolu case with hinged handle and raised on furry lions paw feet, engine-turned hinged bezel enclosing an enamel dial with Roman numerals fronting an eight-day quarter striking/repeating movement on two bells, chain driven fusee going train and spring driven striking train, pull alarm mechanism and original cylinder escapement26cm high handle upThe case and gilding are in good condition with losses, the dial has very small hairline cracks at six o'clock. the movement is complete and working, ticking with strong action, chiming the quarters correctly. The hour strike will need some attention, it is going through the sequence on the hour with the rack moving to the correct hour but the hammer isn't moving. Extra images have been uploaded. The vacant hole to the side of the case is for a repeat cord which is present inside the case and does work correctly. The dial is original, hands have possibly been replaced. No key.

A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH GILT BRASS LIMOGES ENAMEL REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK the moulded case inset with Limoges enamel side panels decorated with classical maidens, the gilt dial with engine-turned mask and subsidiary alarm dial fronting an eight-day spring driven movement with original compensated lever escapement and alarm mechanism striking and repeating on a gong.18.5cm high handle up.The case has lost most of the gilding but no tarnishing, both enamel panels are in very good undamaged and unrestored condition, some discolouration to the outer edge of the dial, the movement is ticking and striking/repeating the correct hours with the original lever escapement. The alarm mechanism is also working correctly. The movement may require a service.

A small group of cases and boxes, comprising: a cigarette case, stamped SILVER 950, decorated with a Japonisme scene featuring a landscape with temples, boat on a river and mount Fuji to background, with presentation engraving to interior, 11cm wide, 8.5cm deep; a white metal box, of oval form, with scrolling foliate motif chased to the cover and sides, bearing cartouche with engraved initials to hinged cover, gilded to interior, 8.7cm wide; a silver plated box, of rectangular form, with engine turned design to hinged cover, 10cm wide, 5.5cm deep; and a Thai cigarette box, indistinct marks to underside, of rectangular form, raised on a rectangular base, with two deities engraved to hinged cover, with wood interior, 13.4cm wide, 3.8cm high, 9.5cm deep (4)  Condition Report: The cigarette case closes and opens with ease but the cover doesn't sit completely flash. Dents to the cover and some dings around the hinges. There is the beginning of a split to the decoration on the cover, visible along the edge of the hill under the temple. Some signs of tarnishing and pitting to interior and exterior. The white metal box in overall good condition, with some small dings to the edges. One dent to the inside of the lid, near the rim. Some wear to underside and some signs of tarnishing. Gilding in overall good condition. The silver plated box with four small splits to its four corners. Minor scratches and signs of tarnishing. Some tarnishing around the hinges and to interior where the lid sits. Some wear along the edges of the engine turned decoration to cover. The interior of the box and lid has been covered with a thin layer of paint which is peeling off in a few areas, revealing the plated surface below. Dirt to interior. The Thai cigarette box with a dent to the right side of the lid, not affecting the decoration of the deities. Some pitting and tarnishing to the lid. The lid opens and closes with ease but is slightly askew. A few dings to the sides of the base. Signs of tarnishing. Scratches and wear to underside.
