1995 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit III Transmission: automaticMileage:74000The Silver Spirit was unveiled in October 1980 as a replacement for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Direct comparison, however, showed only small differences. The new models had slightly grown in length and width; height had been cut a little, although the styling was more modern than that of its predecessor. The interior was dominated by the expected combination of fine wood and sumptuous leather. The Silver Spirit was similar mechanically to the Silver Shadow, benefiting from the superb Rolls-Royce 6,750cc, V8 and sharing many mechanical characteristics of the model it replaced. The instruments were supplemented by digital units which gave such information as the time, elapsed driving time and external temperature and were the first Rolls-Royces to be fitted with a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy.Originally registered on 7th April 1995 this delightful Silver Spirit III has had four previous keepers and presents exceptionally well in the colour combination of Royal Blue and Parchment interior. There were only 234 examples of the Spirit III and this example is offered for sale with the original book pack. There is a significant history folder and clearly this has been a well-cared for example. The interior is sumptuous with its ample burr walnut and leather. Fire up the V8 engine and this luxurious car comes into its own, a quiet, smooth ride is accompanied by respectful performance. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until September 2023, this Rolls-Royce is offered for sale without reserve.Guide £10,000-£14,000

1960 Triumph TR3A Transmission: manualMileage:55883The Triumph TR3 was built between 1955 and 1962 and was usually supplied as an open two-seater, although an occasional rear seat and bolt-on steel hardtop were available as extras. It was powered by a 1991cc engine which initially produced 95bhp increasing to 100bhp at 5000rpm. The four-speed manual transmission could be supplemented by an overdrive unit on the top three ratios electrically operated and controlled by a switch on the dash. In 1956, the front brakes changed from drum to disc becoming the first British series production car to do so. Because of these disc brakes, the TR3 became known for its superior braking ability, making it an autocross favourite.Presented in red with desirable white hardtop, this magnificent example of the iconic British sportscar boats just three owners in its entire life. Offered with a large history file which contains information going back to 1985 when the second owner, a Mr. Howard purchased the car requiring full restoration. The engine was rebuilt with the crankshaft re-ground and new liners and pistons fitted, along with unleaded valve seats with new valves and new springs. Electronic ignition was fitted and the gearbox completely overhauled with a new clutch for good measure. The front suspension was updated and braided hoses fitted alongside new side screens rebuilt with a matching hood and tonneau. The third owner fitted a front anti-roll bar, and all the suspension bushes were polybushed alongside narrow V-belt pullies (less friction) and alternator. The car then took part in numerous rallies such as the TR Register Pyrenees tour in 1995 and the Millennium Tour in 2000. In 2012, the car was completely stripped and painted by Bristol Classic & Sports Cars in Clevedon. Contained within the history file are approximately seven A4 size sheets of paper with 35 photographs per sheet recording the recommissioning in 2015, we believe this included twin choke Weber carburettors, servo brakes and electronic fuel pump before tuning on a rolling road. You will be pleased to know that the car comes with old logbooks, tax discs and the factory hardtop which was also restored in 2015.Looked after and cherished without regard to cost, this TR3A with overdrive performs amicably in rallies and the bills and invoices over the years add up to thousands and thousands. Supplied with a new Tonneau cover along with the hard top this is a UK car with matching numbers and comes with a BMIH Trust Certificate.
1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GT Transmission: manualMileage:25158The Dino, named in honour of Enzo Ferrari's son, was a brand for V6 engined Ferraris and the project that Alfredo 'Dino' Ferrari worked on before he died tragically of muscular dystrophy at just 24 years old. In order to homologate Ferrari's Formula Two entry in 1966, the FIA requested that 500 production cars were produced using the same V6 unit as the race car. The Fiat Dino was born using the two-litre V6 Ferrari unit which was later used in the early 206GT versions of the Dino. Ferrari used the mid-engined configuration that was working well for them in sports car racing for the new Dino and the prototype 206S was shown at the 1966 Turin show. The car drew a positive response and Ferrari put the car into production, making it the first mid-engined production Ferrari. A 2.4 litre version on a longer wheelbase, the 246GT, replaced the Dino 206 in late 1969. The beauty of a mid-engined sports car is the handling, as the improved centre of gravity lends itself to better road holding. A Ferrari Dino has great cornering ability and is an enormously fun car to drive.Originally registered to Mr. P. Thorpe in Woking, Surrey on 7th January 1972 and purchased by the current vendor in May 1990. This car was in a dismantled and poor condition when purchased 33 years ago, with the body having been removed from the chassis in order to deal with a number of issues including corrosion. The vendor at the time agreed to carry out certain works on the car including the bodywork issues and he re-united the body with the chassis. This was progress and at last the current owner had a rolling chassis to transport, along with a vast number of parts, including the engine, gearbox and ancillaries, interior, brakes and glass. Fortunately, the vendor's brother was a former Formula 1 mechanic and between them they spent three years putting the car back together, with the vendor taking care of the interior trim. Originally silver, the car was repainted in Ferrari Rosso Rubino Metallizato (Ruby Red metallic) and was MoT'd in July 1994 showing a mileage of 23,120 at the time. Now displaying a mileage of 25,158, thus this Ferrari has covered 2,038 miles in 33 years. Major work was carried out in October 2008 which included a partial engine rebuild, the mileage being 24,214 at the time. There is room for sympathetic improvements to be made on this right hand drive Dino 246 GT, which now shows age-related wear and tear. We are advised that the lighting switch on the steering column is a little temperamental. A large quantity of documents and invoices accompanies this Ferrari. Due to the fact that the car has been off the road for a number of years throughout its life, it is thought the mileage of 25,158 could well be correct, although not warranted. It is widely agreed that the Ferrari Dino is one of the best-handling and most gratifying automobiles of the early 1970s; it is certainly one of the most attractive, delicately balanced designs ever produced by the masters at Pininfarina.
1960 Facel Vega HK500 Transmission: manualMileage:90000Founded by Jean Daninos in 1939, Forges et Ateliers de Construction d'Eure-et-Loir (FACEL) originally specialised in the production of aircraft materials. After World War II, Facel distributed car bodies to Panhard, Simca and Ford France. It would not be until 1954 that Facel began to manufacture its own vehicle, the Facel Vega FV, unveiled at the Paris Salon in 1954. Crippling legislation immediately after the war made it was virtually impossible for luxurious cars to be manufactured in France but despite this, Jean Daninos was passionate about reigniting the romance of lavishly glamorous French motoring. Despite the staggering $7,000 asking price at launch, buyers were still flocking to take ownership. Later developments saw the introduction, in 1956, of the Facel Vega FVS, further evolving into the all-new HK500 in 1959. The chosen engine to power the next chapter in Facel history was the most famous of them all, the 383 cubic inch, 6.3 litre, V8, which produced a thundering 360bhp, a claimed top speed of 147mph and 0-60mph time of just 8.5 seconds. Through this combination of alluring styling and significant power, the Facel Vega HK500 legend was born. The media were hugely excited with Facel's latest sports coupé. A 'Mechanix Illustrated' magazine tester, Tom McCahill, said the HK500 was, Sexier than the Place Pigalle and throatier than a Russian basso; A sporting piece of equipment that looks like money, which is exactly what it costs ($9,795 new). A car to be appreciated as a remarkable and wonderfully satisfying road companion.Adored for its charm and style, the Facel Vega HK500 captivated the hearts of the masses, with numerous celebrities taking ownership of this pinnacle of French elegance. Drawn by Jean Daninos himself, the Facel Vega seamlessly incorporates American styling with French glamour. With over 390bhp available from the roaring Chrysler V8, the HK500 was one of the fastest cars of its day. The Facel Vega II replaced the HK in 1962, at which time, it is widely thought, just 489 were built and reportedly only 105 were right hand drive, fewer still manual. On Boxing day in 1995, Mr. Green, the previous owner's father bought this example from the classified ad of a US classic car magazine, it described the car as 'the best in the world' and thus he bought it unseen and wired the $12,000. At this point, the retired Mr. Green, who had wanted a Facel since a boy, had no idea of the extent of the restoration that would be required. However, once the restoration was finished in 1997, Classic Cars magazine said this example was €œthe best in the world €, after a £50,000 restoration it just might be. The story of the restoration is documented in the November issue of Classic Cars magazine and a copy of this can be found in the history file which also includes a breakdown of the costs and the specialists used back in 1996. A staggering £36,000 was spent on bodywork. The car was found to have the incorrect 5.8 litre engine so Mr. Green sourced the correct 6.3 litre Chrysler Typhoon unit from Facel Specialist, Ian Webb, he had this rebuilt and transplanted into this exceptional car to retain the originality. The history file contains countless invoices and receipts for parts and work including help from Hans Ruhe with the fiddly bits and Downton Bodyworks taking on the largest part of the project. When completed, the car remained a family treasure, it was a regular with the Facel Owners Club and featured at the N.E.C Motor Show stand in 1998. Mr. Green transferred ownership of this Facel to his son David who, along with his family, enjoyed taking the car to local Facel meets and car shows, creating new memories with what had been an extraordinary story.Purchased by the vendor from us in 2020, this stunning HK500 has been freshly painted in gold and bronze with opulent magnolia hide and ample chromework. The car, requiring a little attention since it's restoration int the 90's, has benefitted from work carried out by well renowned restoration specialists, The Chelsea Workshop since he took ownership. With invoices amounting to over £48,000 in his three years of ownership, the car has been given a full repaint, interior trim work with new carpets, any issues with the car resolved, as well as the installation of air conditioning, (costing £7,834.00 alone). The car presents beautifully, reportedly running and driving very well.Supplied with several folders full of history, photographs and Facel Vega Owners Club details. The car benefits from a MoT test certificate valid until March 2024. A truly exceptional example with a great history and achingly gorgeous, this is a unique opportunity to own one of the most iconic motorcars of the 1960s and follow in the footsteps of Ava Gardner and Dean Martin, to name a few.
2012 Bentley Continental GTC Transmission: automaticMileage:42000The Bentley Continental GT was the first car released by Volkswagen AG after their acquisition of the company in 1998 and was unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, followed by Le Mans, Goodwood Festival of Speed and the annual Bentley Drivers Club meeting at Silverstone. The car differed significantly from the previous Continental R and T models in terms of its concept; although much of the car is hand-assembled, this Bentley was made in significantly larger numbers than previously. As a result, the price at launch was substantially less than the Continental R, thus exposing the car to a much wider and new customer base as a more affordable car. The second generation continental GTC was unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, followed by the 2012 Qatar International Motor Show. A Continental GTC is equipped with a 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine and produces 603bhp with an impressive top speed of 202mph.This stunning second generation 6.0 litre W12 GTC was purchased by our vendor in 2019 from its first owner who had taken delivery of the car from new in July 2012. Presented in stunning light blue metallic coachwork with a cream trim, this facelift example looks every part the £180,000 (and possibly more) price tag it had when new. A full Mulliner specification example with maple wood steering wheel and facia, this car has been comprehensively serviced; the last was carried out in May 2023 prior to the auction, all this information can be found in the service booklet. Supplied with an MoT test certificate until February 2024 and with four new tyres also fitted, this is a very good example of the ultimate combination of luxury and performance, perfect for that drive down to the south of France.
1936 Morris Eight Special Transmission: manualMileage:The Morris Eight was a small car with a production run from 1935 to 1948. Its inspiration coming from the popularity of the Ford Model Y. The success of the Eight enabled Morris to regain its position as Britain's largest motor manufacturer. Compared to its peers, the Morris Eight was a well equipped car with the driver being provided with a full set of instruments including a speedometer with a built in odometer, oil pressure and fuel level gauges and an ammeter.Registered in February 1937, this charming Morris Eight Special has been subject to a ground up restoration and built as a homage to the 1930's racers of the period finished with an all-aluminium body by Max Szewczyk and sat on period Blockley tyres with wire knock on wheels. Owned by our vendor, a prominent trimmer for some of the world's most exclusive vintage cars, it started life as a two-seat tourer. Now finished in red with a bespoke tan leather trim and a new tonneau cover with racing spot, this is a very pretty Special turns heads everywhere it goes. Described by the vendor as being tremendous fun to drive with the 885cc engine and something he will be sad to sell. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and sure to be very popular, viewing is highly recommended.
1988 Range Rover Vogue SE by Kingsley Cars (4.8 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:63000Kingsley Cars Ltd are best known for the re-engineered programme. They have been re-engineering classic Range Rovers since 2011, utilising more modern mechanics, in car entertainment, interior trimming, braking and suspension. The final product is nothing short of a masterpiece, affectively what has become known as a 'restomod', these Range Rovers are in huge demand today and cost in the region of £170,000 to build. The car you see today is where it all began, as the first Kingsley Cars Ltd demonstrator back in 2011. The car is fitted with a high torque 4.8 litre Kingsley fettled Rover V8, producing 275bhp. The engine was replaced by Kingsley in 2022, only covering around 3,000 miles since. Power is fed through a five-speed manual transmission, with short shift kit, making this Range Rover a delight to drive and really freeing up the engine compared with the more common automatic transmissions found in Range Rover's of this era. The suspension is adjustable and provides far better body control to the original offering. The car is presented in a stunning dark metallic silver, with red St James quilted leather interior. The leather doesn't stop there either, the parcel tray, grab handles and door cards are also shod in leather. The headlining and roof pillars are all trimmed with grey Alcantara, and the wool carpets are also bound in leather. Overall, the interior of this Range Rover is on a whole different level to the original car, making it feel far more modern accentuating the quality of the work carried out by Kingsley in 2011.Adding to the modern upgrades, the car has an upgraded sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, meaning it really offers everything you may need if you intend to use a classic as a daily driver. The lighting system has also been improved over the ageing original items. The headlights are now LED units with 650 Lumens low beam and 760 Lumens high beam, driving lamps have also been converted to Xenon. If you want to join the latest 'restomod' craze, this Range Rover by Kingsley could fit the bill perfectly. You are very unlikely to ever see another on the road and for those that know, this is just about as good as classic Range Rover ownership gets. Our vendor tells us the car can perform just like a sports car when needed, the engine and handling upgrades have created a car which is worlds apart from the original and yet the Range Rover can quite easily slip under the radar and be used as a relaxing daily driver at the same time. Offered with a very sensible estimate, this may be the only chance you have to buy a Kingsley fettled Range Rover for quite some time.
2005 Aston Martin Vantage V8 Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:78350The 2005 Aston Martin Vantage V8 is a two-door luxury sports car that was first introduced in 2005 as a successor to the DB7. It features a sleek and aerodynamic design, with a powerful V8 engine and a six-speed manual transmission. The exterior of the Vantage V8 is characterised by its low, wide stance and classic Aston Martin design elements, including a signature front grille and distinctively shaped headlights. Overall, the 2005 Aston Martin Vantage V8 is a high-performance sports car that combines style, luxury, and power, making it a popular choice among car enthusiasts. This superb example is presented in metallic Obsidian black with a black leather interior. This is the most desirable of this model being a manual gearbox and it is rare to find one in this condition which is superb.
1961 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster Flat Floor Transmission: manualMileage:Introduced in 3.8 litre form in 1961, the Jaguar E-Type caused a sensation when it appeared with instantly classic lines and 150mph top speed. While, inevitably, the car's stupendous straight-line performance and gorgeous looks grabbed the headlines, there was a lot more to the E-Type beneath the skin. The newcomer's design owed much to that of the racing D-Type and, indeed, the E-Type would be one of the last great sports cars developed directly from a successful competition ancestor. Just as in the D-Type, a monocoque tub formed the main body/chassis structure while a tubular space frame extended forwards to support the engine.Manufactured in 1961, chassis 850327 was delivered to its first owner Mr. J Langman of Gloucestershire in January 1962. Presented in its original specification of Old English White coachwork over a contrasting red interior and black hood, this E-Type is a matching numbers example. Treated to a comprehensive restoration in 1990 by Fulbridge Motor Company including extensive work to the body, and later in 1995 the engine was extensively rebuilt by Thoroughbred Car Services Ltd. More recently, this Jaguar was the subject of a respray in its original colour of Old English White coachwork. As such the paintwork presents in very good condition throughout with very few blemishes to report as does the interior. The E-Type is also fitted with an uprated rear differential for more user-friendly road use, although the original is offered with the car. The vendor reports that this E-Type drives as it should being used on the occasional weekend, and on our viewing, it fired up with ease and sounded superb! Accompanying this very special flat floor is a sizeable history file including the Jaguar vehicle identification sheet, confirming its matching numbers status and original specification. Many old MoT test certificates, old sales invoices, service records, many invoices detailing the multiple restorations, photographs of the car during the current vendors ownership, and the current V5C registration document. A 3.8 litre 'flat floor' E-Type is a rare find and one as good as this, with its comprehensive history, is sure to appeal to collectors and investors alike.
1997 Bentley Turbo RT Transmission: automaticMileage:85927The Bentley Turbo RT was the last of the Turbo R line and came with a 400bhp version of the 6.75 litre V8 engine, which it shared with the two-door Continental T. The Turbo RT was produced during 1997 and 1998 only, with 252 units produced. It was essentially a 'run-out special', an effort to sell off the last SZ-style bodies before the introduction of the Arnage. Performance was 'more than adequate' with the top speed limited to 150mph. The RT models were fitted with an active-ride suspension system, 'easy-entry' tilt steering wheel, and their longevity benefited from a galvanised zinc coating on the underside. This particular example is beautifully presented in Black Emerald with Sandstone hide interior, quite possibly the best colour combination for these cars. The paintwork and interior are both in excellent order throughout. This car has an excellent service record with the first nine services being carried out by Bentley main dealers, up until 43,935 miles. Following that, the car was taken to Hanwells for its next five services, seeing the car through to 72,683 miles. The car was then serviced in France, where it spent some time with a previous owner, before returning to the UK and visiting Phantom Motors and Paul Mackley engineering, most recently in 2022 at 77,000 miles. In total, the car has been serviced 17 times throughout its life and our vendor reports it is an absolutely joy to drive. This is a true gentleman's express, ready to take on any continental road trip you can throw at it, offering quite possibly the best 'bang for buck' in the classic car world.
1985 Lotus Excel S.E. Transmission: manualMileage:98384Launched in October 1982, Toyota engaged Lotus to assist with engineering work on the Supra. During this period, Toyota became a major shareholder in Lotus, later giving up their holding when General Motors purchased Lotus. Part of the deal between Lotus and Toyota included the use of many Toyota mechanical components in Lotus' cars. The original Excel (aka the Eclat Excel) used the W58 manual transmission, driveshafts, rear differential, 14x7 inch alloy wheels, and door handles from the Supra Mk. II, which was made from 1982 to 1986. The engine was the familiar all aluminium, DOHC 2.2 L Lotus 912 slant-4 engine used in the Lotus Esprit S3.Registered on 8th August 1985 this Lotus presents very well in red with a cream leather interior. The significant history folder confirms the engine has been rebuilt and clearly this has been a very well looked after example, even the often troublesome pop-up headlamps work as they should. Supplied with a V5C registration document and current MoT test certificate, valid until 1st November 2023, this Lotus is described as driving with no known faults. The 2174cc engine runs smoothly and efficiently and the gearbox operates as it should. These stylish sportscars are great fun to drive and this is no exception when 'on song'. Offered for sale without reserve.Guide £11,000-14,000
1966 Mercedes-Benz 250 SE Coupé (W111) Transmission: automaticMileage:75000The 50s was the decade of the ponton but these were now feeling dated, Paul Bracq was subsequently drafted in to revamp the styling of the range and the change was immediate. The rear-end treatment was far more stylish and streamlined with the W111 coupés, as shown here, demonstrating a beautiful pillarless treatment once the windows were down. The body shell overall benefited from a lowered roof and waistline with an increased glass area creating a far 'airier' feel. Some cars have a timeless quality about them which can be seen at a glance. The 250SE coupe is one of them and as someone wiser than me once said, €œQuality is remembered long after the purchase price is forgotten €. Originally registered in Australia It was then brought over in 2014 and sold to the current owner in the UK. Overall, the car presents in superb condition presented, as it is, in Milano Brown with new carpets and dash board. The engine and automatic gearbox have both been rebuilt with rebuilt brakes, discs and pads all-round. The shock absorbers are now new Bilsteins and the paintwork is in superb condition. In fact, the chrome work, wheel rims and glass are all in excellent condition throughout. Supplied with a light service and full 12 month MoT test certificate, the quality of this example is indisputable and if you're looking for what could only be described as a museum quality example then look no further.
1974 Triumph TR6 Transmission: manualMileage:123000The Triumph TR6 was produced between 1969 and 1976 and, by the time production ended in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. In total 94,619 TR6s were manufactured of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. The TR6 featured a four-speed manual transmission and an optional equipment overdrive unit was a desirable feature because it gave drivers close-gearing for spirited driving whilst remaining an excellent touring car for open motorways. It also featured independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15 wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instrumentation. Braking was provided by disc brakes at the front and rear drum brakes.First registered on 4th April 1974 to a Mr. Pickering from Alnwick, this beautiful Mimosa Yellow TR6 was a UK home market supplied vehicle, which included the overdrive gearbox option from new. Purchased in 2006 by a Mr. Webster in Derby who ran the car until he began what developed into a comprehensive bodywork, engine and chassis restoration spanning several years. When the current owner, in Buckinghamshire, purchased the car in 2017 the expenditure didn't stop there. They have continued the sympathetic restoration which has included LED bulbs, re-chromed bumpers, ceramic coated exhaust manifold, complete new interior/door card, new seats, fuel pump and fuel line, electronic ignition, polyurethane bushes, high torque starter, refurbished inlet manifold and injectors, Oak Burr dash and wood door cappings and tonneau cover.Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, this MoT exempt sportscar is a genuine, privately owned, honest and useable classic. This TR6 represents fabulous value for money and would make an ideal addition to any collection or a perfect starting place for any classic car enthusiast. This Triumph has been garaged and exercised regularly, various bills of maintenance work, old MoT test certificates and many receipts can be found in the history file which includes a full service history until 57,775 miles, all stamped in the Triumph Passport book.
2004 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Transmission: automaticMileage:67322The Mercedes-Benz R129 models were produced from 1989 through to 2001 and were sold under the SL Class model names. The R129 replaced the R107 SL Class in 1989 and was subsequently replaced by the R230 in 2001. The R129 was based on the shortened floorpan of the Mercedes-Benz W124 saloon and featured many innovative details for the time. The R129 came to public attention in 1991 when Diana, Princess of Wales, sold her Jaguar XJS to lease a J-registration, metallic red 500 SL, becoming the first member of the royal family to use a foreign car. This controversy sparked a media storm as it was questioned whether a member of British royalty should drive foreign cars. The fifth generation of the legendary SL series of two-door convertible sports cars made by Mercedes-Benz was known as the R230. It featured a fully retractable hardtop that was marketed as the Vario Roof; a first for the SL Class although it had been available on the smaller SLK model since 1997.Originally registered on 8th June 2004, this Mercedes-Benz has formed part of a private collection in recent times and as such, has been kept in a warm dry environment. We are advised by the vendor this car drives with no known faults and with the modest mileage of 67,322 the 4966cc engine is barely run in. Finished in silver with a black leather interior, this SL500 is supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 16th February 2024. These are fabulous looking vehicles that offer 'wind in the hair' motoring as well as the comfort of a hardtop, such is the magnificent operation of the hood mechanism.
1976 Lamborghini Urraco P300 Transmission: manualMileage:63515In accordance with their usual practice of naming their cars after fighting bulls, it was fitting that this new, junior, V8 Lamborghini was named 'Urraco' which approximately translates as 'little bull'. Its 2+2 configuration hinted at Lamborghini's grand touring roots and its distinctive styling by Gandini displays a family likeness to the fabulous Countach. The V8 engine, however, was a departure from the traditional V12 and may have been indicative of Lamborghini's decision to have a look at a different market where the Porsche 911 and Ferrari Dino 246 currently reigned supreme. The most developed Urraco was the P300, of which approximately 205 were made between 1975 and 1979. The P300's engine had a larger stroke than the P250, upping displacement to 2,996cc and providing 265bhp at 7,800rpm. The P300's is a considerable step up from the P250 with its chain driven, quad cam engine proving both more powerful and robust, as well as the addition of a brake servo ensuring the car's stopping ability matched its improved performance.First registered on 1st May 1976, this stunning stainless steel bumpered example presents beautifully in its metallic grey paintwork with tan interior. Sitting on a set of incredibly rare, new old stock Campagnolo magnesium wheels, this car is unusual in that the wheel's centre caps are clipped in, a feature not possible when these types of wheels have been refurbished, (the centre caps are then usually glued back in). Details like this are a clue as to the quality of the car. Maintained for some time by the very well reputed Lamborghini specialists Colin Clarke Engineering, the car has had very light use by the vendor who has been keen to maintain its beautiful condition. Anything that the car has required has been done by Colin Clarke Engineering and the vendor reports the car to run and drive extremely well. An example of this is that Colin Clarke removed the engine and rebuilt the gearbox as well as checking the clutch in September 2021 at a cost of £10,146. The original four spoke steering wheel remains and the interior was re-upholstered to a high standard in tan leather, in 2014, at a cost of £6,600. Complementing the new interior, the then owner is reported to have had the car repainted at around the same time. All the relevant badges and stainless steel trim are present, even the original Blaupunkt radio cassette player is in situ, making this a rare, arguably concours condition example of these handsome 1970's Italian sportscars.Supplied with a V5C registration document and file of receipts amongst other information. With only three former keepers in the UK since its registration in the UK in 1990, this excellent example is ready to be shown off and hold its own at any prestigious event as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the esteemed Lamborghini brand.
1961 Bedford J0 Pick-up Transmission: automaticMileage:25072Bedford Vehicles, usually shortened to just Bedford, were produced by Vauxhall Motors which was ultimately owned by General Motors. Established in 1930 and constructing commercial vehicles, Bedford Vehicles was a leading international truck brand, with substantial export sales of light, medium, and heavy trucks throughout the world. It was GM Europe's most profitable venture for several years. Perhaps the major event of the 1950's, was the transfer of all non-car based commercial vehicle manufacture to the former Vauxhall shadow factory at Boscombe Road, Dunstable. Bedford's Dunstable plant, dating originally from 1942, was extensively rebuilt and extended between 1955 and 1957 when all production lines were said to be over a mile long. Subsequently, all commercial vehicle manufacture would be concentrated here with only vans and car-based commercials remaining at the Luton plant. The Bedford TJ was first manufactured in 1958 and was an updated version of the TD range. The TJ was available in the UK up until 1975, after 1975 it was manufactured only for export. Production continued until 1986, after that it was manufactured by AWD into the early 1990s. Petrol and diesel engines were available, the lightest (J0 designation) could be specified with the 2.6 litre straight-six petrol engine from the Vauxhall Cresta. TJs were not large sellers within the UK, it is thought some 5,000 J0's were manufactured with a mere 20 or so remaining in the UK.The vendor has owned this vehicle for the last seven years and has mainly just kept the truck on display since purchasing it, as it is in such exceptional condition. The previous owner spent five years collecting all of the parts needed to complete a total nut and bolt restoration, his sole aim was to build the best Bedford J0 available anywhere in the world and in our opinion, he achieved his objective comfortably. Originally built at a time when manufacturing standards could be a little inconsistent, this Bedford has been painstakingly dismantled, painted, chromed and trimmed in superb quality leather. The cab was a genuine J0 new old stock unit as are many other parts fitted to this magnificent truck. The mileage of 25,000 is thought to be genuine and we can confirm all numbers match. The previous owner had almost an encyclopaedic knowledge when it comes to Bedford J0 trucks and his enthusiasm was infectious when talking about it. The silver paintwork is of a superb standard, except for one blemish which was picked up whilst at a show, on the side of the load bed, and would not look out of place on a Rolls-Royce. The red leather trim and Wilton carpets, together with ample chrome work combine to make this Bedford a striking vehicle, the quality of which you are unlikely to see again on such a vehicle. During the restoration, the emphasis was to retain the original features, improving as required, this appears to have been a success. The 2,600cc engine runs exceptionally well and the truck retains its original three-speed gearbox. Potential buyers are recommended to view this truck in person to confirm for themselves the quality of workmanship.
1961 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL Transmission: manualMileage:88895The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL with the 300 SL made history at the New York International Motor Sports Show in February 1954 by being the first new production Mercedes-Benz to be unveiled outside of Germany. The impression given by the 190 SL alongside the bigger 300 SL was neat, sporty and with dashing lines. This was the trait of Mercedes-Benz designers Karl Wilfret and Walter Hacket. Despite opinions, the statistics tell their own tale as between May 1955 and February 1963, 25,881 of these cars were produced, it was a huge success for Mercedes-Benz. Its engine boasted four inline cylinders with a chain driven overhead camshaft and two Solex 44PHH carburettors, delivering a respectable 108bhp for that era. The body was a monocoque design, welded to the shortened chassis of the type 180 saloon. A racing version with aluminium doors and a small windscreen was never produced although these parts could be ordered from the factory for weekend racing. This lovely, UK supplied, right hand drive, matching numbers, 1961 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL was purchased by the current owner in 2013 and while in his ownership he has cosmetically restored it to the highest of standards. The cream leather interior with the dark blue carpets was replaced five years ago by classic Mercedes specialists Red Castle Classics in South Wales. The chromework has been restored and re-plated by S&T in October 2021 while the car had new sill panels and was repainted in the original colour of Light Blue (DB334) and new blue soft top fitted, all being completed in March 2022. Other work carried out has included replacing the starter motor, fitting a new brake servo unit and replacing the tyres with Michelin X tyres. This lovely Mercedes 190 SL is supplied with a V5C registration document and the original handbooks which contain the chassis cards confirming the matching numbers status. A right hand drive Mercedes-Benz 190 SL remains a highly sought-after classic car among collectors and enthusiasts. Its timeless design, quality craftsmanship, and performance capabilities continue to captivate admirers today.

2004 Porsche 911 / 996 Carrera 4S Transmission: automaticMileage:122977The Porsche 911/996 Carrera 4S is fast becoming one of the most desirable 996 models, given its wide turbo body looks and still remaining very affordable in the modern classic world. It offers a thrilling driving experience and is powered by 3.6 litre flat-six engine, producing a highly respectable 316bhp. This engine was paired to either a six-speed manual transmission or an optional five-speed Tiptronic automatic. The car was also fitted with an all-wheel drive system, giving it excellent traction and handling in any conditions. The 996 Carrera 4S has a top speed of 174mph and a 0-60 time of just 4.8 seconds, making it one of the fastest cars in its class. This example was optioned from new with the Tiptronic gearbox, making it a fine package for long distance cruising, or city commuting. The car has a comprehensive service history, with 12 stamps in the service book, all being from Porsche main agents until 2012 at 91,049 miles. Following that, the servicing has been carried out by Porsche specialists JMG Porsche and Tower Porsche, with one more visit to Porsche Mid Sussex in 2016 at 108,952 miles. The most recent service was carried out by Tower Porsche in March 2023 at 122,576 miles. The car presents in Arctic Silver, which still looks in great condition. The interior also looks excellent with the seat bolsters still in very good shape and the overall impression is of a car which has been in caring ownership throughout its life. Our vendor had a very detailed inspection carried out prior to purchasing the car in November 2021, which can be viewed upon request as a PDF or indeed read through it in the history file. Our vendor also went to the trouble of fitting a Pioneer SPH-DA230DAB 7 € touch screen entertainment system, which offers Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth and DAB radio, bringing the car up to modern day standards. The car was also fitted with upgraded Alpine speakers, which are an improvement over the ageing original items.
1970 Porsche 911 E Transmission: manualMileage:87948The Porsche 911 E is considered by many to be one of the quintessential air-cooled Porsche 911 experience's and is a favourite among enthusiasts. The 911 E was powered by a 2,195cc flat-six engine for model years 1970-1971, which produced an impressive 153bhp. It is paired to a five-speed manual transmission, giving it an exhilarating driving experience. The exterior of the 911 E features a classic and elegant design, reminiscent of the earliest short wheelbase 911's, but with a slightly lengthened wheelbase, to improve handling and safety. Few cars provide such a visceral driving experience as an air-cooled Porsche 911, these early cars are always popular, and this particular example could be perfect for using as it is or taking to the next level. The present owner purchased this car in 2017 as a project which needed to be finished. It had already been painted in this fetching shade of Bahama Yellow but was missing various interior and trim pieces which our vendor has managed to locate and get the car to the condition it is in today. Once the car was complete, it was then taken to a renown Porsche specialist by the name of Dave Broughton, who he describes as 'nothing short of a genius', who managed to get the car running as it should. The overall condition of the car is very presentable and it could certainly be enjoyed at any Porsche 75th anniversary celebrations this year where it is sure to be admired. We are informed the car starts and runs well, and that it drives just as good as it looks. The car is provided with a V5C registration and if you are looking for an early air-cooled 911 to use and enjoy this summer, this car will tick all the boxes. It is being offered with a very sensible estimate and proposes huge potential for the next chapter of its life.
1972 Maserati Indy (4.7 litre) Transmission: automaticMileage:62319Manufactured in 1972, this wonderful 4.7 litre Maserati Indy is fitted with the optional automatic gearbox and is an original right hand drive example. Previously restored by its current owner between 2008 and 2018, this Indy was treated to huge amounts of work to the body including cutting out and completely replacing the inner and outer sills, as to the front floor sections. There were also repairs to the A posts and lower sections of the door skins. Some minor welding was also required to the front of the bonnet amongst other areas. A bare metal respray followed and the Maserati was finished in its original colour combination of red coachwork with a tan interior. Delving back further into the car's history it reveals an engine and gearbox rebuild was completed in the early 1990's (circa 6,000 miles ago). Our vendor has maintained the car where necessary having the underside treated with a light covering of underseal to prevent any rusting, also replaced was the sound deadening and new carpets were fitted. New Inertia reel seatbelts were installed at the same time and the radio has been replaced with a modern stereo system. More recently the carburettors were rebuilt and tuned, and the air conditioning was also rebuilt and re-gassed. Beneath the boot floor sits a full-size spare wheel and the battery, which was replaced last year. An isolator switch is also fitted. The paint finish remains in good condition throughout although there are some age-related blemishes as one would expect. The engine bay looks to have been well maintained and the interior is in very good order having recently been re-connollised.Accompanying the Maserati is a sizeable history file including a photographic record of the bodywork restoration. Old MoT test certificates abound, that would seem to confirm that the recorded mileage is indeed genuine. Sundry invoices, the Maserati driver's manual and the current V5C registration document. Used regularly by the current vendor, this example is ready to be enjoyed by its new custodian in the coming summer months.
2003 Bentley Arnage T Transmission: automaticMileage:127418The Arnage T can lay claim to the title of world's fastest saloon, needing all but the last two spots on its 170mph speedometer. It is powered by another version of the 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce, V8 engine but treated to what Bentley described as 'the most thorough re-engineering of its life'. Other changes included the adoption of a 'drive-by-wire' throttle to go hand-in-glove with Bosch's Electronic Stability Program which replaced the Red Label's traction control but what really gives this nearly three-ton car its immense poise is a revised suspension that features 57% more roll stiffness than the Red Label. The car's basic structure is also 10% stiffer which means there are no creaks and squeaks of the sort that distinguished previous generations of Bentleys. This lovely three owner example is presented in Silver Storm with Linen leather interior. The servicing was carried out by Broughtons of Surrey up until 2010 with invoices totalling £8083.54 and from 2010 to 2022 the car was looked after by N.Sandell Rolls Royce and Bentley specialists with invoices totalling £32,853.80 €“ which shows clearly that this rare and sought after Bentley Arnage T has indeed been kept with no expense spared in its lifetime. The previous owner, who was only the second owner having purchased the car in 2005, had been the only driver predominantly and being generally the only individual in the car has resulted in the interior being in excellent general condition and still is as the present owner has used it sparingly. A great luxury tourer which ouzes opulence but has terrific performance to match. Rare indeed!
1977 Morgan Plus 8 Transmission: manualMileage:66236The Morgan Plus 8 began production in 1968 and continued all the way through until 2004. The iconic Plus 8 returned in 2012 for a further six years, ending production again in 2018. Its iconic design remained largely unchanged throughout its life, lightweight construction, and powerful V8 engine. The Plus 8 is built on a steel chassis with a handcrafted aluminium body and Morgan's famous ash wooden frame. The Plus 8 is powered by the tried and tested 3.5 litre Rover V8 engine, which provides exhilarating acceleration, aided further by the immensely low weight of around 830kg. It also features a five-speed manual transmission. This particular example presents beautifully in dark green with a beige leather interior. The interior looks amazing, having been retrimmed in 2021 at the cost of £4,100 by an ex-Morgan employee, who completed the work exactly how it would have been done by Morgan themselves. The bodywork looks equally as impressive, it isn't freshly painted to concours standard, but it certainly doesn't require any attention. The car is supplied with full weather gear, including side screens, tonneau cover and hood. The engine is where the magic happens on this example, having been fitted with Viper fast road camshafts, Rhoades lifters, gas flowed heads, Hedman manifolds and four-barrel Holley carburettor. Our vendor reports this car is very fast and would make an excellent hill climb or sprint car, whilst remaining very useable on the road. The car was dyno tested at 284bhp, offering a strong improvement over the original engine. The car comes with a good amount of paperwork with a detailed handwritten record of works carried out between 2003 and 2011 and a strong amount of invoices detailing various works carried out over the years. Our vendor confesses he is a 'tinkerer' who enjoys having a project on the go, so is selling his beloved Morgan mainly to free up some space in his workshop. Having owed various classic cars over the years, he admits he enjoys restoring them but possibly doesn't give them the use they deserve. This is a fantastic example of the mighty V8 powered Morgan, which presents great value for money when compared with its rivals of the day.
2011 Lamborghini Gallardo V10 570-4 Superleggera Transmission: automaticMileage:20005The Gallardo was manufactured from 2003 to 2013 and is Lamborghinis best-selling model with 14,022 being built throughout its lifetime. The first generation Gallardo came with a 4961cc, V10 engine and offered two choices of transmission, a conventional six-speed manual transmission and an advanced six-speed, electro hydraulically controlled, semi-automatic, which Lamborghini abbreviates to 'E-Gear'. In March 2010, Lamborghini announced the release of the Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera, a lightweight and more powerful version of the Gallardo LP 560 €“4 in the same vein as the previous Superleggera. With carbon fibre used extensively inside and out to reduce weight to just 1,340kg making it the lightest road-going Lamborghini in the range. The 5.2 litre V10 on the LP 570-4 received a power increase over the standard Gallardo to 570 PS (562hp). Performance has been improved to 0-62 in 3.2 seconds, and 204mph top speed. The Superleggera is often compared with the Ferrari 430 Scud, values of which are in excess of £180,000 for similarly aged and mileage cars. See JayEmm's review of the Superleggera on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTFy179llF0&t=43s and why he thinks this car is a great buy. Research is unclear but it is thought that less than 360 were produced, with 172 delivered to the US leaving the resto of the world to share 178 €¦ very few will be RHD examples with only 13 found on howmanyleft.co.uk.One of the finest lightened cars money can buy, this Gallardo Superleggera is finished in Bianco Monocerus with a Grigio Alcantara interior and fitted with 19 Superleggera 10-spoke Callisto alloy wheels with a matching set of Michelin PS4s tyres with complementary yellow brake calipers. This is a UK five owner car and has covered a fraction over 20,000 miles. It has a fabulous service history - 2012, 2014, 2015, and 2017 at Lamborghini main dealers and 2018, 2020 and 2022 at Lamborghini specialist Autofficina. The last service was on the 16th December 2022 at 19,820. The clutch read at time of cataloguing is at 30% worn, plugs, brake fluid, and the auxillary belts have been done and are ready for the season. We can testify the car drives fabulously and is an absolute riot given it was filmed for a Historics promotional film which can be found on the Historics website. Supplied with the full handbook pack, two original keys, and an advisory-free MoT test certificate valid until Dec 2023.
1990 Volkswagen Golf Custom Restomod Transmission: manualMileage:Launched in 1974, the Golf represented a complete break with Volkswagen tradition yet it would prove as big a sales success as its Beetle predecessor. The GTi became one of the great icons of modern motoring, giving rise to an entirely new class of sporting saloon - the 'hot hatch' - in the process. The second generation of the Volkswagen Golf and the successor to the Mk. I Golf, was launched in Europe at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1983. This one-off custom-built Mk. II Golf started life as a cherished Mk. II Gold Driver when our vendor purchased in 2016. A Volkswagen fan and having always wanted the original GTi the initial project was to make a fast road show car with a budget which swiftly doubled when he installed the help of renowned specialists JTech. Presented in stunning unmarked white paintwork with the inside painted in dove grey to match the engine bay, money has been no object in this restoration and subsequent customisation. The restoration was indeed 'nut and bolt' and must be seen to be appreciated but the list of modifications thereafter reads as a list of the finest upgrades. The engine was swapped for a 1.8 litre 240bhp 20V Turbo engine with an IX03 Turbo all fully rebuild by JTexh coupled to a Fabia RS gearbox and Quaife limited slip Diff. Further engine modifications include forced air induction and a Mocal oil cooler, all topped off with a full custom exhaust system. Sitting on Compomotive IMOS alloy wheels with KONi Coilovers all fully polybushed, the car was then treated to a full under body Waxoil treatment and a full custom roll cage. There are many more items and therefore viewing is highly recommended. The car has never been on a track and been a real show pony but recently serviced and treated to an MoT test certificate valid until April 2024 with unsurprisingly no advisories. This is a fabulous opportunity to relive your youth but also purchase one of the best engineered custom cars we have seen at a fraction of the cost to build and restore, just wait for Vicki Butler-Henderson to get her hands on it during auction week!
2010 Mercedes-Benz G55 Transmission: automaticMileage:12823The German word Geländewagen translates as 'cross country vehicle'. This abbreviates to G-Wagon and is a fitting name for the four-wheel drive luxury SUV manufactured by Magna Steyr in Austria and sold by Mercedes-Benz. The G-Wagon has enjoyed an impressive build run of over 40 years, during which time notable owners have included the Vatican who took delivery of a specially made G-Wagon which included a clear top and served as the Popemobile, a car that now has permanent residence in the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. The condition of this G-Wagon is a testament to our vendors attention to detail, he is the cars second owner and during his 10 year tenure this impressive Mercedes has barely seen 1,000 miles a year use. The car presents spotlessly in gleaming black coachwork with a black leather interior. The stunning condition is complemented with a tremendous level of equipment which includes a factory fitted sunroof, rear screen entertainment, privacy glass, illuminated AMG treadplates, gold coloured brake calipers and sidesteps. The V8 Kompressor engine fired up with a reassuring growl through its side mounted exhaust pipes when requested and if you doubted the cars power it leaves very little to the imagination. These 4x4 from Mercedes-Benz have reached 'cult' status amongst enthusiasts and this genuine example is ready for a new owner.
1999 Ferrari F355 F1 Berlinetta Transmission: automaticMileage:32300The Ferrari F355 was built from May 1994 to 1999 and was an evolution of the Ferrari 348. It is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, V8-powered two-seat coupé. At launch, two models were available; the coupé Berlinetta and the Targa topped GTS. The Spider (convertible) version was introduced in 1995. One major difference between the longitudinal V8 in the 348 and that in the 355, apart from the displacement increase from 3.4 to 3.5 litres, is that the F355 features a five valve per cylinder head that is considerably more powerful, producing 375bhp. The nomenclature does not follow the formula from the previous decades, i.e. engine capacity plus cylinder number for example, the Ferrari 308 name comes from three litres plus eight cylinders, with the same for the 328, 348, 512 etc. This time, Ferrari used engine capacity plus number of valves per cylinder; proud to boast about this technological advancement, with the name 355 coming from 3.5 litres engine capacity and five valves per cylinder. The F355 has become the most popular model so far with over 11,273 cars produced. This wonderful example was registered new on 5th March 1999 and is presented in the desirable colour combination of Rosso Corsa coachwork over a black leather interior. Showing a mere 32,300 miles on the odometer, this 355 is in stunning condition with very few blemishes. Recently treated to £11,000 of maintenance and service work completed by Italia Autosport less than 100 miles ago which included replacement cambelts, new front a rear brake disc and pads, a new AC compressor belt, new PPF film, the sticky interior parts replaced, as well as many other significant replacement parts.Accompanied by a huge history file containing a full service history, many sundry bills and invoices, the recent £11,000 service and maintenance invoice from Italia Autosport, its original Ferrari book packs including its all-important service booklet, its original Ferrari luggage, a current MoT test certificate valid until November 2023 and its V5C registration document. Fitted with a Challenge rear grille and unmarked alloy wheels, this superb example with its comprehensive history, is sure to be keenly contested at auction. Interested parties should note that contrary to the catalogue the recent expenditure was undertaken in 2021. Since then, the car has done little mileage and been stored in the vendor’s private collection. Included in the sale is the Ferrari tyre pump and toolkit however no other luggage is supplied with the car.
1974 Aston Martin V8 Saloon Series III Transmission: automaticMileage: Completely hand-built and requiring over 1,200 man-hours to finish, these motorcars are every bit the gentleman's sporting tourer. Although the DBS was the pre-curser, it shared the same V8 engine until the six cylinder engine option version was phased out in 1972. It benefited, though, from heavier, ventilated disc-brakes, air however -conditioning, fatter tyres and a new and stronger ZF gearbox. With a capacity of 5.3 litres, it was still powerful enough to propel it to over 150mph, heady even by today's standards. The engine switched back from fuel injection to carburettors in 1973 with the advent of the series III model, also distinguishable by the taller bonnet scoop to accommodate four twin-choke (two-barrel) Weber carburettors.Originally purchased in 2018 from Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell for the princely sum of £80,000, this Kentucky Blue V8 was scheduled to be used for regularity rallies at various events across Europe. With the vendor living in both London and Switzerland, it suited him well. The car was then sent to Goldsmith & Young Ltd, Aston Martin specialists focusing specifically on the preparation, tuning and racing/performance specification of the marque.Numerous invoices show the extensive works undertaken during the extraction and complete rebuild of the engine and gearbox rebuild increasing the capacity to 5.7 litres as well as preparation/refurbishment of the engine bay prior to re-installation and fitment. A modern Fenair air-conditioning unit was also supplied and fitted and both front and rear windscreens were extracted to ensure a sufficient seal. Numerous miscellaneous electrical issues have been adjusted including window switches, fans, new boot springs, new heater piping behind dashboard and the re-fit of door glass and runners. Various trim work was also undertaken with seats out, repairs and new boot carpeting. In fact, no expense has been spared in the preparation of this car which makes it now extremely reliable. Additionally, fire extinguishers have been supplied and fitted, contrasting red towing eye, for use, most recently, in the Gstaad Palace Challenge in 2020. More recently, it went back to Goldsmith & Young for a brake upgrade, both front discs and calipers were removed with a new set of AP units fitted as well as a brake slave cylinder, wheel bearings, coils and HT leads. The invoices total an eye-watering £53,884 on upgrades alone. The vendor is clearly serious about the quality he expects from his motor cars and the next owner will be very well placed to take advantage of an Aston Martin, complete with FIVA registration, where quality has been at the forefront of its preparation.
1961 Lotus Elite (Type 14) Series 2 Transmission: manualMileage:65779The incomparable Colin Chapman re-wrote the rulebook with many of his sports and racing cars. His focus though, was always weight. Combined with body-stylist and friend, Peter Kiran-Taylor in 1956, they developed the Lotus Elite. New in so many ways, but primarily as a lighter-weight car, with much of the stressed chassis as fibreglass (GRP) with just a small amount of the load-bearing structure made of steel to support the famously spirited Coventry Climax engine. The Type II Elite Coupé proved a wonderfully agile driver's car, suitable for high-performance use on both road and track. The Bristol-bodied Elites were lighter and more robust than their Maximar predecessors and the Kiran-Taylor body form, fine-tuned by aerodynamicist Frank Costin, contributed to the car's low claimed drag coefficient of just 0.29.Although production finished for these cars in 1963, this example was registered in 1965 and originally sold to a Mr. J. Cummings. It was the vendor who originally had an Elite in his youth and, despite a break where work and family took over, the hankering for an Elite never lost him. A very competent trained engineer, he eventually found a restoration project which, once purchased, was recovered back to Cornwall and stripped down. The bodywork was not too bad although the front subframe needed work. Indeed, a new one was obtained from Miles and Scott Bader followed by a Polyester powder coating and two coats of filler/primer and four coats of polyurethane acrylic finish applied to the entire car, including the engine bay and dash panel (although some attention would be required to now bring it back to showroom condition). 2000 Bentley Arnage Red Label Transmission: automaticMileage:82780Launched in 1998, the Arnage was manufactured in Crewe from 1998 to 2009 with its Rolls-Royce sibling, the Silver Seraph. They were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The new Arnage (Green Label) was to be powered by a BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered, twin-turbo chargers and the Seraph was to employ a BMW V12 engine. The Arnage Red Label was launched in October 1999 with the engine reverting back to Bentley power using the traditional V8 engine and a displacement of 6750cc. As part of the modification process, both Red and Green Label cars benefitted from expanded leg room in the cabin, stiffer bodyshells and larger wheels and brakes.First registered on 2nd October 2000 and supplied by Jack Barclay, this example had been in 'Bentley enthusiast' ownership for much of its life, currently taxes paid in the EU (Ireland). The history file for this Arnage contains bills and receipts for servicing, the most recent with specialist DEW services in the summer of 2022. 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series I 2+2 Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:925The Jaguar E-Type Series I 2+2 was designed to be a more practical version of the legendary E-Type, with a longer wheelbase and additional interior space. It was produced from 1966 to 1970, and it featured a 4.2 litre inline-six engine that produced 265 horsepower. One of the most notable features of the 1968 Jaguar E-Type Series I 2+2 is its sleek and timeless design. The car has a long, flowing hood and a low-slung profile that gives it a sense of speed and power. The body of the car is made of lightweight aluminium, which helps to reduce its overall weight and improve its performance. This coupé was originally registered in July 1968 and presents extremely well in Old English White coachwork which is complemented with a dark blue leather interior. This original right hand drive example has recently benefitted from some light recommissioning which included the fitting of a new clutch. We are informed that this classic Jaguar drives well and has the practicality of rear seats. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, various invoices and previous MoT test certificates and despite being exempt by age an MoT test certificate valid until May 2024. 1990 Porsche 928 S4 Transmission: automaticMileage:124287The Porsche 928 burst onto the scene in 1978 and became the first (and still only) sports car to win European car of the year award. The 928 was continually developed until reaching the S4 in 1987, which would stay in production until 1991. The 928 S4 is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 engine, producing 316bhp and 317 lb-ft of torque, which provides effortless acceleration and a top speed of 165mph. The 928 S4 was also one of the most technologically advanced cars of its time, with features such as ABS, airbags, and an advanced suspension system. Its timeless design, with its low profile and smooth lines, has aged exceedingly well and is still highly regarded by car enthusiasts across the globe. This particular example began its life in Japan, which is far from a bad thing. Many will know that the cars being imported from Japan tend to find themselves in far better condition than their UK delivered siblings, due to the lack of salt on Japanese roads and their highly scrutinous MoT requirements. This car is no exception, the Slate Grey metallic paintwork still presents in superb order and the Linen leather interior is also in exceptional order. The odometer reading of 124,287km would translate to around 76,000 miles and the condition could easily pass as being far lower. The wheels look to still be in their factory finish too. There is some evidence of servicing during the cars time in Japan, however without being an expert in the Japanese language, it is rather hard to translate. Since the cars arrival in the UK in 2016, it has been maintained properly, with evidence of four services in that time, including a £3,862 invoice in 2021 for work on a big engine overhaul including the all important cambelt service. The car comes to auction with a valid MoT until 2nd May 2024.Our vendor has owned this car as part of his private collection and has now decided he needs to free up a space in his garage. The car will be missed, but since it hasn't been getting as much use as intended, he has decided it is time to let someone else enjoy this excellent 928. What better way to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Porsche this year than with one of the models which helped to save the company?
1997 Rover Mini Cooper Transmission: manualMileage:54348The Mini was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered a British icon of the 1960's and its space-saving front-wheel drive layout allowing 80% of the car's floorpan to be used for passengers and luggage, influenced a generation of car makers. In 1999, the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century behind the Ford Model T. Initially Minis were marketed under the Austin and Morris names until Mini became a marque in its own right in 1969. The Mini was again marketed under the Austin name in the 1980's and was offered in a number of limited editions that usually included a special combination of trim and badging.Originally registered on 14th March 1997 this Mini Cooper has been owned by the lady vendor for the past 16 years. It has been used sparingly throughout her ownership, having covered just 4,000 miles within that period. It has always been kept in a dry garage and was largely unused within the last eight years. However, when it was decided the car would be sold, it was immediately put in for a service and an MoT test, which it passed with no advisories. Finished in red with black interior this Mini Cooper is fitted with a 1275cc engine and offers relatively brisk performance. Classic Mini's always create interest and this example with its Minilite wheels and four spot-lamps is sure to follow suit. Supplied with a V5C registration document this Mini Cooper has only covered 54,348 miles in 26 years, a fraction over 2,000 miles per year. Offered for sale without reserve this Mini is definitely one to keep an eye on.
2018 Porsche 356 Speedster Homage Transmission: manualMileage:86799The first-generation Boxster (the 986) was introduced in late 1996 and was powered by a 2.5 litre flat, six-cylinder engine. Harm Lagaay's design, inspired by the 356 Speedster and 550 Spyder, stimulated a commercial turnaround for Porsche. Many believe the introduction of the Boxster helped save Porsche from acquisition. It was Porsche's first water-cooled, non-front engine sports car as the Boxster is mid-engine, while in the 911, rear-engine. This layout provided a low centre of gravity, near-perfect weight distribution and good handling. In 2000, the new Boxster S variant was introduced with a larger 3.2 litre engine and the base model received a more powerful 2.7 litre engine. In 2003, styling and engine output was upgraded on both variants. Production of the 986 began at the former Porsche 928 facility in Stuttgart, Germany in 1996. The Boxster was Porsche's biggest volume seller from its introduction in 1996 until the company introduced the Cayenne sport utility vehicle in 2003.For those looking for a unique and very individual driving experience then look no further. This one-off Porsche Iconic Autobody 386 Speedster Homage boasts the classic looks of yesteryear and features modern running gear. It is not just a car that is truly beautiful to look at, but it is excellent to drive and has the benefit of reliability. Designed and built by Brian Hale of DNA Automotive, with a string of top-quality Ferrari replicas and Aston Martin recreations to his name. Bespoke coach built on the platform of a Porsche Boxster 2.7 986 it is a modern drivetrain masterpiece and features the retro styling found in the 1950s and 60s. Being based on a Boxster it is a seriously fun car to drive. The current owner has adored this special car, only taking it out on sunny days and covering little mileage for the last 3 years. In his ownership, he added a brand-new red leather interior which joins a great specification consisting of heated seats, Pioneer Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Apple Car Play, Air-Con and LED driving lamps. The Boxster used, is a low-owner, full Porsche history example which now has a total of 86799 miles. This car looks fantastic and is a real head turner.

The Sahara trim level adds some extra features to the Wrangler, such as diamond plate rocker guards, body-colour bumper flares, and a Sahara-specific interior with high-back bucket seats. 1973 Mercedes-Benz 250 CE (W114) Transmission: automaticMileage:93000Whilst the saloon versions of this model were somewhat sedate, the coupé's, with no b-pillar to interrupt the lines, was rather an elegant sight to behold. This design element came, unsurprisingly, from the pen of Paul Bracq world famous for a number of different Mercedes-Benz models as well as BMW gullwings, France's TGV and another a number of other significant cars the put him well and truly on the map. With the advent of this W114, he lowered the roof line and the seats to maintain the headroom. The windows wound down completely out of sight and the 2.5 litre; fuel-injected engine propelled this model effortlessly up to a perfectly respectable 115mph.Painted some two years ago in this stunning Bordeaux red with contrasting new black MB-Tex trim, the overall presentation is superb. It also benefits from new head rests and front armrest, not something that was originally specified when built. Something also to note is that it has benefits from electric windows front and rear, again not something that was standard at the time. Also included is a new sub-frame with new Bilstein shock absorbers all round as well as new discs and pads front and back. Also included is new sound proofing under the bonnet, A fully re-cored radiator and a light service and fresh 12 months MoT test certificate. I am advised that she drives extremely well indeed and the quality of the restoration all points towards a sound and well-presented example.Interested parties should note that due to engine damage in one of the bores, a fresh engine has been installed although the original.
1953 Chevrolet Bel Air Panel Van Transmission: automaticMileage:The 1953 3.5 litre Chevrolet Bel Air Panel Van was a popular workhorse vehicle during its time, known for its durability and versatility. This vehicle was commonly used by small businesses and delivery services to transport goods and supplies. It featured a sturdy steel body and a reliable engine, which made it a reliable choice for those in need of a work vehicle. The panel van had a spacious interior and could carry a significant amount of cargo. The Bel Air was given a facelift in 1953. The pre-war technology, such as torque tube drive, six-cylinder splash feed engines, knee-action suspension, and split windshields of the early models, was phased out, and the foundations for the first post-war modern Chevrolet passenger car were finalized. The Bel Air series featured a wide chrome strip of molding from the rear fender bulge to the rear bumper. The inside of this stripe was painted a co-ordinating colour with the outside body colour, and 'Bel Air' scripts were added inside the strip. 1953 was the first year for a curved, one-piece windscreen. This handsome Chevrolet Bel Air presents extremely well. The chromework glistens, and the paintwork is in good order. This powerful American classic fired up on request and we are told drives well. This 1953 example was registered in the UK in 2011 and is offered to auction with a V5C registration document. This Chevrolet Bel Air has presence and nostalgia in plentiful supply; it is an ideal vehicle to enjoy at local events or would be ideal for any business, it certainly has plenty of space to be sign written. Today, the 1953 Chevrolet Panel Van is considered a classic and is sought-after by collectors and car enthusiasts alike.
1992 Range Rover Vogue SE (3.9 Litre) Transmission: automaticMileage:62237The first-generation Range Rover was produced between 1970 and 1996. The original car was not designed as a luxury-type 4x4; while certainly up-market compared to preceding Land Rover models, the early Range Rovers had fairly basic, utilitarian interiors with vinyl seats and plastic dashboards designed to be washed down with a hose. Features such as power assisted steering, carpeted floors, air conditioning, cloth/leather seats and wooden interior trim were fitted later. The Range Rover was a body-on-frame design with a box section ladder type chassis similar to contemporary Land Rovers. The Range Rover utilised coil springs as opposed to leaf springs, permanent four-wheel drive and four-wheel disc brakes and was originally powered by the Rover V8 engine.Supplied originally by Mann Egerton & Co. Ltd in Hatfield on 2nd February 1992, this Range Rover presents in delightful condition. The Aspen Silver coachwork is virtually unmarked, and the grey leather has a patina commensurate with the age and mileage. The 3.9 litre V8 engine starts on the button and runs well, and we are advised she drives as good as she looks. Service history is important on these classic Range Rovers and this one has been very well cared for, with two service books. One of the most significant updates was the introduction of an 1100cc engine, which replaced the previous 948cc engine. The exterior design of the 1966 MG Midget was also refreshed with a new grille, headlights, and taillights. The car had a sleek and sporty appearance, with a low-slung body and chrome bumpers. Inside, the car had a minimalist design, with simple gauges and controls. The cockpit was designed to provide a snug and comfortable driving experience. This pretty MG was originally registered in April 1966 and presents well in Old English White with a contrasting black interior. 1981 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II Transmission: automaticMileage:57056The Silver Shadow broke new ground for the Crewe Company in a number of key areas, from the sophisticated fully independent suspension with an advanced self-levelling system to four-wheel ventilated disc brakes. The only major components carried over from the Silver Cloud III were the excellent, all aluminium, 6.2 litre V8 and four-speed automatic transmission with fluid flywheel, the latter replaced by GM's excellent 400 three-speed box in October 1968 while the engine was enlarged to 6.75 litres the following year. Although no power output was ever divulged by the company, merely described as 'adequate', the Silver Shadow's superior aerodynamics meant the car was perfectly happy cruising the motorways. No less than eight individual Connolly hides were used to trim the interior of each car and the standard of finish on the upholstery, rich Wilton carpets and burr walnut veneers was impeccable. Each Silver Shadow employed 20 electric motors, powering everything from the radio antenna to adjusting the individual front seats. Build quality on the Silver Shadow remained unsurpassed, each taking no less than 12 weeks to build from start to finish.Originally supplied by Henlys in Chester on 7th August 1981, this Rolls-Royce presents in delightful condition and is finished in probably the best colour combination of Peacock Blue with Beige leather interior. A good history folder accompanies this Silver Shadow II, to be expected latterly by respected marque specialists. The engine runs well and we are advised this car drives with no known faults. The paintwork is in good order as is the interior; the front seats are fitted with headrests adding additional comfort for the driver and front passenger. These iconic Rolls-Royces are sublime to drive, offering comfort and luxury like no other car. This 1981 registered car is one of the last to be registered as the Silver Spirit was available from 1980. Supplied with a V5C registration document, together with the bookpack including the service book. Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow prices have been increasing significantly of late, and this is an ideal opportunity to obtain one of the last ones registered.
2003 Porsche 996 Turbo Transmission: automaticMileage:63250The 996 model is a superb car; quick, reliable, well made and the birth of the water-cooled Porsche 911. With a wide range of models on offer the most iconic is, of course, the Turbo. Featuring four-wheel drive and a 3.6 litre intercooled engine, derived from the 1998 Le Mans winning GT-1 car, pushing out 420bhp and hitting 60mph in a whisker over four seconds, this is genuine supercar territory. The 996 was seen as a more relaxed and usable 911; however, in Turbo guise, the driver would get the best of both worlds; a luxury leather interior with every creature comfort combined with the ability to drop the hammer and reach a top speed of a claimed 190mph. The 996 Turbo was available with either a six-speed manual or a five-speed Tiptronic transmission with revised styling and a wider stance than the naturally aspirated 996 Carreras along with new bi-Xenon headlamps. The Turbo also came with Variocam Plus as well as stability management - a necessity with over 400bhp under your right foot.Performance can be described as ballistic when behind the wheel of a turbo-charged Porsche. However, due to the modern 911 being such a capable daily driver, mileage on early cars can swiftly reach into six figures, resulting in lower mileage models becoming quite the find for any collector or enthusiast.Showing just a little over 63,000 miles on the odometer, this example is presented in grey coachwork with a black leather trim and has clearly had a pampered life. This car has been well maintained and regularly serviced. Accompanying the car is a sizeable history, documenting the low mileage and the vendors ownership, various old MoT test certificates, the V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until February 2024. This is a superb example of an ever appreciating 911 in such fabulous condition that viewing is highly recommended.

It also has an abundance of space. To make sure it is also fitted with an awning. It also has an abundance of power from the 7-litre engine. This example presents well in a grey wrap and a well-trimmed interior. With the popularity of camping holidays at an all-time high and the recent prices achieved by other Airstreams this example appears to be tremendous value.
1976 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow I Transmission: automaticMileage:108463The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was a luxury saloon car built from 1965 through to 1980 and was the first Rolls-Royce to be constructed using a monocoque chassis and, to date, has the largest production volume of any Rolls-Royce. The original Shadow was three and a half inches narrower and seven inches shorter than its predecessor, the Silver Cloud, but managed to offer increased passenger and luggage space thanks to more efficient packaging. Aside from a more modern appearance and construction, the Silver Shadow introduced many new features such as disc brakes replacing drum brakes and independent rear suspension rather than the ageing live axle design of previous models. It featured a 189bhp 6.75 litre V8 engine from 1970 onwards, mated to a Turbo Hydromantic 400 transmission supplied by General Motors. The superb ride quality achieved in the Shadow was thanks to the innovative high-pressure hydraulic system with dual circuit braking and hydraulic self-levelling suspension.Originally supplied to W.J. Bowen & Sons Ltd. by H.A. Fox on 12th March 1976 at a cost of £18,235.22 this Silver Shadow I has been well cared for throughout its 46 years on the road. Mayer on 1st September 1982, he kept the car for many years, with it bearing his registration number of TCM 1. When Dr. Mayer decided to stop driving the car, it changed hands to its third registered keeper in 2018. The original book pack and handbooks are with the car, along with spare keys. A good collection of invoices accompanies the history folder along with previous MoT test certificates going back to 1982. The car was cared for by Silver Lady for many years. These iconic Rolls-Royce's are delightful to look at and even better to drive. This example, still in its original colour combination, is offered for sale at no reserve, insurable on a classic policy and now inexpensive to run, there is no real reason not to use this on a daily basis.Guide £9,000- £12,000
1957 MG A Roadster (1500) Transmission: manualMileage:93030When the MG A arrived in 1955, it must have come as quite a shock to MG aficionados who had become used to the pre-war look of the company's sports cars. The MG A was a complete departure in styling for MG. Its beautiful streamlined body was right up to the minute in terms of appearance and it was powered by a new engine as MG had decided that the old XPAG unit had had its day. The MG A was powered by the much more modern B-Series engine that had made its debut in the recently announced Magnette saloon. MG had gone as far as building a full prototype of the MG A by using TD running gear, the 1250cc XPAG engine, a re-designed chassis, and the MG A bodywork. When it eventually became clear that the TF Midget was a bit of a lame duck and that it would have to be replaced, the new MG sports car was finally given the chance it deserved. The delay in production had one advantage in that it allowed MG to refine the design and install the much newer 1,489cc four-cylinder B-Series engine and its transmission from the Magnette saloon. This example was registered in 1957 and has been in single private ownership for some time. Having been used sparingly in recent years, due to the owner's ill health the MG still presents in good order for its age having been dry stored throughout the vendors ownership. The paintwork shows some age-related blemishes, as to the interior which has a light patina commensurate of the vehicles age. Offered with previous MoT records, sundry bills and invoices, and the current V5C registration document. An original 1500cc Roadster example, this MG comes to the open market with a very attractive estimate, and we expect it will be keenly contested at auction.

1998 Mercedes-Benz CL600 Transmission: automaticMileage:85200The CL-Class is the flagship of the Mercedes-Benz car range. It continued to follow the same development cycle as the S-Class though riding on a shorter wheelbase and offered with only the higher-output powertrains. It was the first Mercedes to feature Active Body Control, Bi-Xenon headlights and, on the early V12 models it employed Active Cylinder Control. This shut down one bank of cylinders under light engine loads enabling it to achieve better fuel economy than the V8 CL500. Not bad for a car with a six litre V12 developing 367bhp and yielding a Soyuz-launching 0-60mph time of 5.9 seconds. It is as a Grand Tourer that this model is primarily designed for though. With more rear seat space than many executive saloons, a huge boot and a truly cosseting driving environment, the CL is one of the most soothing cars you could hope to take on a long trip. The performance is remarkable and the turbine-smooth V12 is, frankly, epic.Originally registered on 25th October 1998, this Mercedes-Benz is in very good condition and is finished in dark blue coachwork over a two tone grey interior. The V12 engine burst into life when requested and ran exceedingly quietly and smoothly. The automatic gearbox offers seamless gear changes resulting in this being a car of supreme comfort to drive and excellent performance. This is possibly the nicest example we have seen. The paintwork retains a deep shine and the interior is excellent. The wheels are also in good order bar the odd blemish commensurate with the cars age. Supplied with its original Mercedes book pack with service book including a comprehensive Mercedes main dealer and Mercedes specialist service record with 13 stamps to show. Various old MoT records are also present as well as many sundry bills including a recent invoice of circa £1,000 for a new radiator, a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 10th January 2024, this Mercedes-Benz CL600 is superb and is offered for sale without reserve and also comes complete with its private registration number 'P88 CAN'. This could well prove to be a shrewd purchase.
2005 MG ZT Estate Transmission: manualMileage:63444In 2001, three years after the launch of the Rover 75, and less than a year after the demerger of MG Rover from BMW, the MG ZT and MG ZT-T were launched. During the cars' development, the models were codenamed X10 and X11, for the saloon and estate versions, respectively. The basic shape and styling of the MG ZT remained the same as for the Rover 75 but with changes to the front bumper, now with an integrated grille, and detail alterations including colour coding of the chromed waistline, a new boot lid plinth, and different alloy wheels and tyres sizes. During the first few months of 2004, MG Rover facelifted the design of the ZT and ZT-T to a less retro look, at the same time as the Rover 75 received a facelift. This didn't feature much in the way of mechanical differences to the ZT, most changes were merely aesthetic. The main changes to the car included the replacement of the twin headlamps, with a new, clear single headlamp unit. Between 2003 and 2006 the top of the ZT range, and the rarest, was rear wheel drive and powered by the Ford 4601cc V8 engine giving 300bhp, 0-60mph in 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 155mph.This rare MG ZT is best described as a 'wolf in sheep's clothing'. A relatively unassuming vehicle from the outside, with the only visible feature being the large bore exhausts. However, start the engine and suddenly you become aware of the Ford Mustang 4.6 litre V8 under the bonnet. This is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox making this a true drivers car and one to really enjoy on the open road. Performance is put at 260bhp and 407NM of torque. The interior is trimmed in black leatherette and cloth seats with electric windows, electric mirrors and digital climate control with air conditioning. Showing just 63,444 miles on the odometer, the previous owner fitted a bespoke (and very expensive) stainless steel exhaust system with sports cats and central silencer box, coupled to an OE back-box, helping unleash a little more sound of the American dream. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until October 2023, together with the original book pack and a collection of invoices. This stylish MG estate is both a capable load carrier and a truly exciting car to drive. These were built in relatively small numbers, it is thought less than 200 were manufactured, thus this could well prove to be a fine investment.Guide £8,000- £11,000
1989 Innocenti 990 SE Transmission: manualMileage:26600Innocenti were originally an affiliate of the British Leyland Group, until being bought by Alejandro DeTomaso in 1976. The Innocenti 'Nuova Mini' was produced between 1974 and 1993 and was originally a replacement for the Mini. It was designed by Bertone, featuring a three-door hatchback body and retained the trusty 'A series' engine. The mechanics would eventually be replaced by Daihatsu units in 1982. A longer wheelbase version, the 990, was released in 1986 and had more modern Mini Clubman underpinnings. The later cars were true rivals for cars such as the Renault 5 and Fiat 127, but were never offered in right hand drive guise, so are something we are not so familiar with on these shores. This particular example spent a vast majority of its life in Turin, Italy with one owner from new until its import to the UK in August 2021. The car is showing less than 27,000km, which the condition would suggest is very likely genuine. The overall condition is very impressive, with only a few age-related marks, which are to be expected. The car was fitted with new tyres in 2022, and had a new battery in March 2023, meaning it is ready to take on the summer.Being powered by a 993cc Daihatsu three-cylinder engine, this may well be the perfect starter classic for a young enthusiast or make for an ultra-rare daily classic. Inside you will find electric windows and wing mirrors, internal hatchback lever and importantly a five-speed gearbox. Parts supply is strong and our vendor reports that the car attracts attention and sparks conversation wherever it goes.

1986 Jeep CJ-7 Transmission: manualMileage:51420The Willys Jeep (later Kaiser Jeep or AMC Jeep) is the civilian version of the Willys military Jeep of World War II. The first Willys CJ prototype (the CJ-2) was introduced in 1944 and the same basic vehicle remained in production through seven variants and three corporate parents through 1986 when production of the Jeep model was officially ended. The Jeep CJ-7 and Jeep CJ-8 were replaced in 1986 by the similar-looking Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep CJ-7 featured a wheelbase 10" longer than that of the CJ-5 and lacked its trademark rear curve of the door cut-outs. To help improve vehicle handling and stability, the rear section of the chassis stepped out to allow the springs and shock absorbers to be mounted closer to the outside of the body.Presented in blue with grey trim, this late UK supplied 1986 CJ-7 was one of the last built. According to the previous owner, this is a Renegade specification example which was initially restored prior to 1998. Sitting on two inch wider than stock arch extensions and Sahara deep dish wheels with BFG mud terrain tyres and raised Rancho shocks. In 2008, an AC 5.0 litre V8 engine was purchased to replace the 4.2 litre and circa £9,000 was spent with AC Automotive having it rebuilt and installed it with all new pistons, a Holley injection system costing £2,400 and a further £2,000 spent on a custom stainless steel exhaust system and a new radiator. It was then decided to have the car taken back to bare metal and repainted in an original Jeep colour – a further £3,500! New seats and half doors were supplied and fitted from the US and an occasional soft top is supplied. Currently showing 51,420 miles however, the new engine was fitted at 36,000 miles (just 15,000 miles since engine rebuild). This Jeep is offered with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until July 2023 but will require recommissioning to be fully roadworthy.
1971 Jaguar XK140 by Aristocat Transmission: manualMileage:Built with Jaguar's written permission, the Aristocat uses all Jaguar components housed in a steel spaceframe chassis. For ease of build the Aristocat uses the XJ Series suspension, un-modified, resulting in the car being five inches wider than the XK120 or XK140, but only one inch wider than the XK150. The additional width, added down the centre of the car, allows for a more spacious cockpit and boot than the originals and drivers of well over six feet can be easily accommodated. This 1971 registered Aristocat XK140 is presented in matte black, built on a XJ6 Series I as per the UK registration document, this example has been built to be used as a fast road alternative to having a real XK140. The engine was built six years ago at a cost in excess of £5,000 and has only covered 12 miles since then due to the vendors ill health. A 3.4 litre Jaguar engine with blue printed bottom end, fully balanced with a fast road Stage 2 head and Kent fast road cams which are all coupled to a E-Type four-speed manual gearbox. The exhaust system is a full stainless-steel example built by 0JZ at the cost of £2,500 with the suspension from the Jaguar XJ6 to the front and rear and coupled to an XJS 3.6 litre manual power lock differential. Requiring some further minor recommissioning and a little TLC, this example can be finished as per a period XK140 or you could carry on down the path of the 'rat look' fast road weapon, either way it is an inexpensive entry into that fabulous 3.4 litre Jaguar engine and a lot of fun.Guide Price £12,000- £15,000Interested parties should note that the clutch slave cylinder has failed on this example and thus it will require trailering from the auction.
2006 BMW E63 630i Coupé Transmission: automaticMileage:139000The BMW 6 Series began production by BMW since 1976, the successor to the E9 Coupé and currently in its fourth generation, initially only available as a two-door coupé, however a convertible body style was later added with the introduction of the BMW E63/E64 6 Series in 2004. The second generation of 6 Series sold from 2003 to 2010 and re-introduced the 6 Series to the BMW line-up following a 14 year hiatus after the E24 6 Series finished production. 1988 Mercedes-Benz 280 GE G-Wagon Transmission: automaticMileage:90991The Mercedes-Benz G-Class or G-Wagon, short for Geländewagen, (cross-country vehicle), is characterised by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature. The G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest produced Mercedes-Benz in Daimler's history with a span of 32 years. The G-class was developed as a military vehicle from a suggestion by the Shah of Iran and offered as a civilian version in 1979. The first major refinements were introduced in 1981, including an automatic transmission, air conditioning, an auxiliary fuel tank, protective headlamp grilles and a cable winch. Fuel injection became available in 1982 when the 230 GE was introduced in Turin, along with more comfortable and supportive front seats, auxiliary heating, wider tyres, and fender flares. It had a 'short' engine replacement at 36,562 miles which is documented in the history file and the odometer is currently showing a mere 91,000 miles which is very low for a vehicle of its age. This iconic 4x4 was last used on the road in 2008 and has been dried stored ever since. This 280 GE has recently had light recommissioning which entailed new brakes, battery, alternator, fuel pump, new shock absorbers, the fuel tank refurbished and four new Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tyres. 1994 AC Ace Brooklands Transmission: automaticMileage:137980The Brooklands Ace had made several public debuts before production finally got underway at AC's traditional manufacturing base at Brooklands, Surrey. Under guidance from Brian Angliss, ACs Managing Director, his team had taken seven years to develop the IAD-designed new model into production reality - no small task for any manufacturer, let alone a minnow such as AC Cars. Powered by Ford's 5.0 litre Mustang engine, the svelte body was handformed in aluminium with an emphasis on luxury and performance and also enjoys an electric hood. In all, only 49 were produced, some say 46!Registered new on 4th October 1994, this AC is an automatic example and has had just three owners from new.
