A Swiss Silver and Enamelled Singing Bird Box, London import marks for HCF Ld, London 1928, of bracketed rectangular outline, the plateau centred by the hinged oval lid painted with two lovers and a shepherdess with sheep and a dog in a woodland glade in the manner of Antoine Watteau, within a border of two pierrots wooing a young woman in a country house garden, the musical mechanism releasing the lid to reveal a scroll pierced base plate and a solitary automata bird with iridescent feather plumage, with chevron engine turned guilloche blue enamel canted angles, with chain pull, each of the sides centred by a Watteauesque panel, upon slightly inswept short feet (the underside with bird-form brass key compartment), 105cm by 7.6cm by 6.1cm

A 2 inch scale model of a Burrell Gold Medal steam tractor, built by Mr R. Gray of Worthing, to Malcolm Frost designs with castings by MJ Engineering of Ringwood, the two speed general purpose engine of twin compound design with a copper boiler, the fittings including a water gauge, pressure gauge, safety valve, blower, clack and blowdown valves, the drain cocks operated from the cab, with copper pipework, mechanical lubricator, crosshead guides, Stephenson`s link reverse, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, solid flywheel with wooden block brake, and Pickering type governor, the chassis details including spoked straked wheels with rubber road tyres, worm and roller chain steering, damper, cable drum with fairleads, hand brake to back wheels, fitted belly tanks and supported canopy, finished in green and black paintwork with polished brightwork, 74cm (29 inches) long.
