A 1960 Triumph Tiger T110, registration number OPR 223, frame number D3405, engine number T110/D3405, gearbox number 116498, black/white. The T110 with the duplex frame and enclosed bath tub tin work was only available for two years 1960/61, making it one of the rarer models. OPR 223 was, according to Triumph records, dispatched to the supplying dealer, Homestead Garages Ltd, Parkstone, Dorset on 4 March 1960. Little is known of the motorcycle's earlier history before being purchased by our vendor as a restoration project in 2006. Since then, the motorcycle has been rebuilt to a high standard after many years of hunting for genuine parts to complete the rebuild in 2012. Over the last six years, the Triumph has seen a very low annual mileage and still presents well. The T110 is only for sale due to our vendor giving up motorcycling and will be offered for auction with a dating certificate and sundry paperwork. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration

This charming and original Dandy, started easily on our inspection to take the catalogue photographs. ***V5C to follow***, MOT and tax exempt See illustrationPlease note: There is no service history to accompany the bike.

A 1949 Vincent HRD Black Shadow Series C, registration number FWV 663, upper frame number RC4158B, lower frame member retrospectively stamped RC4158B, engine number F10AB/1B/2258, black. Vincent's HRD Black Shadow offered performance that most motorcycles could only imagine in the 1950s with a top speed of 125 mph and handling to match, courtesy of its cantilever rear suspension and Girdraulic front forks. They were made to exacting standards commensurate to the models cost, which was nearly double that of any of its contemporaries. This Black Shadow has had three previous owners and was purchased by our vendor direct from the third owner a Mr Vincent Roethling from Wimbledon, London in a dismantled state requiring full restoration in October 2008. A full and exacting restoration was then carried out with some photographs on file. The restoration was completed in December 2009 and a new MOT was issued. Since then the Vincent has only been run a couple of times on the vendor's drive, and has been displayed for the majority of the time in the vendor's drawing room. Due to the length of time that the Vincent has been on static display she will now require some light recommissioning before taking to the road once again. The Vincent HRD Owner's Club member, who is in his 80's has taken the decision to sell his beloved Black Shadow because he feels that his motorcycling days are over. In 1920 the Triumph became known as SD standing for spring drive, it would later form the basis of the four valve Ricado model. This SD remained unused for over 40 years before being purchased by our vendor. There followed a painstaking restoration which took two years to complete (photographs on file of pre and post restoration). The works carried out were extensive which included a fully rebuilt engine, stove enamel frame, overhauled forks, new wheel rims, spokes, tyres and inner tubes, new saddle, handle bars, chain, exhaust and silencers, fully repainted fuel tank, and numerous other items associated with a restored motorcycle. The SD is a matching numbers bike which was assembled at the factory in March 1924 and was subsequently registered at Essex County Council on 19th July 1924. Unfortunately because of the length of time the SD was off the road and the loss of the original logbook the Triumph had to be re-registered with an age related number. The Triumph will be offered for auction with an operating manual, spares list (both photocopies) and sundry paperwork. It is only being offered for sale due to the vendor now reaching the age of 85 and he is now unable to ride the machine. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustrations
