2002 Porsche 911 Turbo                                        Introduced in 1999, the 996-generation of Porsche's evergreen 911 was styled by Pinky Lai. Boasting a monocoque bodyshell that was some forty-five percent stiffer yet lighter than that of its predecessor, the newcomer also boasted improved aerodynamics and a more ergonomic interior. Perhaps best known for its switch from air- to water-cooling, the 996 was plagued by engine woes. The exception to the rule was the Turbo variant which used an evolution of the Le Mans-winning (and nigh-on bombproof) Metzger flat-six. Displacing some 3.6 litres when fitted to the 996 Turbo, this fearsome powerplant developed a quoted 414bhp and 413lbft of torque. Allied to either six-speed manual or five-speed Tiptronic transmission, it reputedly enabled the 2+2-seater to accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds and onto 189mph. With four-wheel drive, Porsche Stability Management and brutally effective four-wheel ABS disc brakes, the flagship 911 was among the very fastest `A-to-B' cars that money could buy. An altogether more brutish looking machine than its normally aspirated siblings, the 996 Turbo sported gaping air intakes to its front bumper, bi-xenon headlights, flared rear wheel arches, 18in alloys and a jutting rear spoiler. A near dynamic match for its 997-generation successor, the 996 Turbo will surely be better appreciated by future generations.Finished in Black Metallic with Red leather upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in `excellent' condition with regard to its engine, Tiptronic transmission, electrical equipment, interior trim, bodywork and paintwork. Stated to have covered just 36,500 miles from new, the last of its eight services was apparently carried out on May 10th 2016. Further benefiting from fresh brake discs and pads, the distinctively registered `S10 OLF' is said to `drive superbly'. Worthy of close inspection, this handsome 996 Turbo is offered for sale with key set, book pack, service history and MOT certificate valid until May 2017.

1935 Rolls-Royce 25/30 Saloon with Division          - Reputedly 1 of just 6 Rolls-Royce 25/30s to be bodied to this design by Windovers - Supplied new to W. Johnson Esq of the Basset confectionary company - Current owner since 1984, Marchal headlamps, drinks cabinet, twin spare wheels This charming long chassis 25/30 is finished in Cream over Brown and trimmed in Brown leather. Its Windovers Saloon body includes a Division and 'MJK 377' is thought to be one of just six Rolls-Royce 25/30s clothed to this design. It was supplied new on October 20, 1936 to W Johnson of the Basset confectionary company. The suitably impressive specification includes Marchal headlamps, twin spare wheels, chrome luggage rack, GB plate and cocktail cabinet. The Rolls has remained within the same ownership since 1984 but is now seeking a fresh chapter in its life courtesy of a new keeper. It comes complete with V5C and a copy of the factory records, as supplied by the RREC. Maintaining its policy of offering one 'Large' and one 'Small' model (the terms being purely relative), Rolls-Royce introduced the 20/25 in 1929 as a successor to the outgoing 20. Though the newcomer was intended to appeal to owner drivers, many examples were in fact sold to customers with chauffeurs. Power came from an enlarged version of the straight-six unit used in the 20. Now of 3699cc, it made for swifter acceleration and a higher top speed - up to 75mph, depending on the chosen body. The four speed manual gearbox featured the manufacturer's traditional righthand change and was equipped with synchromesh on the top two ratios from 1932 onwards. The substantial chassis sported rigid axles front and rear suspended on semi-elliptic leaf springs. The four-wheeled braking was mechanically servo assisted. In 1936, the company opted to increase performance once more, further enlarging the engine to 4257cc to create the so-called 25/30, of which 1201 examples were made before the model was superseded by the Wraith in 1938. Like most Rolls-Royces, the 25/30 starred on the silver screen, most notably in 'The Naked Truth' and 'Death on the Nile'.

1988 Aston Martin V8 Vantage X-Pack                  The 170mph top speed of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage introduced in 1977 placed it firmly in the supercar league of the period. Its engine was shared with the Lagonda, but it used high-performance camshafts, increased compression ratio, larger inlet valves and bigger carburettors mounted on new manifolds for increased output. The straight-line performance was impressive by any standards, with the sprint from 0-60mph being accomplished in a relatively disdainful 5.3 seconds; a touch quicker than even the mighty Ferrari Daytona. Of course the Vantage name had previously been used on a number of high-performance versions of Aston Martin cars, but was now being employed to represent a model in its own right. And although based on the proven V8 model, numerous detail changes combined to create a unique driving experience for the newcomer. The first series of V8 Vantage models boasted 375bhp, plus series specific details such as: a closed-off bonnet vent, blanked-off grille into which was inserted a pair of powerful driving lights; and a separate rear spoiler - 38 of these were built (plus 13 so-called 'Cosmetics' versions for the US). The Oscar India (this stands for October Introduction) model, phased in during the Autumn of 1978, featured an integrated tea-tray spoiler and smoother bonnet bulge. Inside, a black leather-covered dash replaced the previous walnut one, though the wooden dashboard did find its way back into the Vantage during the eighties, in order to achieve a still more luxurious appearance. The Oscar India cars also received a slight increase in power to 390bhp. With some running changes, the Vantage line continued in production until 1989, with engine output rising to 403bhp from 1986 onwards. The 1986-1989 580 'X-Pack' was a further upgrade which, courtesy of Cosworth pistons and Nimrod racing-type cylinder heads, had an output of no less than 420bhp. For those who felt even that was insufficient, a 'big bore' after-market option was also available from Aston Martin Works Service, which featured 50mm carburettors (instead of the standard X-Pack 48mm ones) and a straight-through exhaust system that combined to give a thumping 432bhp (this was the same specification of engine as fitted to the limited-edition V8 Zagato). 16-inch Ronal split-rim wheels shod with 255/50 Goodyear Eagle tyres were another part of the X-Pack package. Just 137 X-Pack derivatives were made all told, making this a rare and desirable car by any standard. The example now offered is a 1988 righthand drive UK specification manual transmission Coupe. According to the vendor, 'it has been totally restored to concours condition and is now nicer than when it left the factory', and he seriously doubts if there is a better one anywhere. It is finished in the striking combination of Rolls-Royce Metallic Blue with Blue-piped Champagne Leather interior trim and logoed Blue carpets, and has covered approximately 72,000 miles in the care of its seven owners. The car was totally restored following an accident in 2001 and fitted with a replacement Vantage engine to correct X-Pack specification. As recently as April this year it was treated to a £7,000 service and shakedown at RS Williams, and is now presented in stunning mechanical and cosmetic condition throughout. 'F438 KGK' comes complete with a full service history from new and comprehensive file including all service and maintenance invoices etc.Realistically valued to reflect the fully repaired accident of many years ago, 'F438 KGK' represents a perhaps unrepeatable opportunity to acquire an example of the most desirable of all Aston Martin V8 Vantage models at a fraction of the current market value for these increasingly cherished British supercars.

1968 Daimler V8-250                                              Good V8-250s are keenly sought by those believing its lighter engine results in superior handling to its Jaguar sibling - this could well be the car for them. In the same ownership for 34 years, it has apparently covered a mere 22,500 miles and largely been restored, serviced and maintained by its keeper, a retired Chartered Mechanical Engineer and long-standing member of the Daimler and Lanchester Owners' Club - 'whatever needed doing was done'. Significant body repairs were carried out in 1985/1986, when the colour was changed from Silver Grey to Dove Grey. It was then mainly stored for two decades from 1990, during which spring hangers, jacking points, sills etc were all attended to. The power steering was overhauled in 2009, and the automatic transmission by Graham Whitehouse and engine similarly refreshed in 2010 by Russ Carpenter. A concours award winner, 'VMC 900G' comes complete with original toolkit, 34 years of receipts, tax discs and MOTs, plus an MOT valid into October 2017.

2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG                        One of just 20 UK-supplied RHD CLK 63's produced, this particular example has had just one previous keeper and covered a mere 41,500 miles from new. Finished in Tellurite Silver Metallic with Black/Basalt Grey Nappa leather upholstery, its high specification includes Bi-xenon headlamps, front electric heated memory seats with massage, AMG body styling, 18in AMG alloy wheels and Bluetooth. Offered with original handbooks, all invoices and full Mercedes-Benz service history comprising of Mercedes-Benz Aylesbury @ 6771, 13473, 20482, 24464, 29383, 34200, 39506 miles and Mercedes-Benz Nottingham @ 41365 miles. Developing a quoted 475bhp / 465lbft of torque, the naturally aspirated V8 is allied to seven-speed automatic transmission. This well-cared for CLK 63 is rated by the vendor as 'excellent' with regard to its bodywork, engine, electrical equipment, paintwork, gearbox and interior trim. It is offered with a 'no advisories' MOT into June 2017.

1933 Rolls-Royce 20/25 Sedanca Coupe by Gurney NuttingMaintaining its policy of offering one 'Large' and one 'Small' model (the terms being purely relative), Rolls-Royce introduced the 20/25 in 1929 as a successor to the outgoing 20. Though the newcomer was aimed at owner drivers, many examples were sold to customers with chauffeurs. Power came from an enlarged version of the straight-six unit used in the 20. Now of 3,699cc, it made for swifter acceleration and a higher top speed of up to 75mph. The four-speed manual gearbox featured the manufacturer's traditional righthand change and was equipped with synchromesh on the top two ratios from 1932 onwards. The substantial chassis sported rigid axles front and rear suspended on semi-elliptic leaf springs. The four-wheeled braking was mechanically servo assisted. Bodywork for the 20/25, was to the taste of the customer, and Gurney Nutting, Park Ward, Thrupp & Maberly, Mulliner and Hooper were among the many coachbuilders selected to clothe these fine cars. Nearly 4,000 20/25 chassis were produced, making it the company's best-selling model between the wars. The English coachbuilder J Gurney Nutting & Co Limited was founded in 1918 and its first designs were displayed at the 1920 London Motor Show. The two developments that helped propel the company to early prominence from 1924 were a licence to employ the Weymann technique of body construction and the arrival of Scottish designer AF McNeil, who joined from Cunard. In 1928 the Prince of Wales commissioned a Weymann body on a 41/2-litre Bentley that featured a high waistline and shallow windows for added privacy. The so-called 'Prince of Wales' body style became a best seller, and in 1931 Nuttings was appointed 'Motor Body Builders to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales', an honour that endured until 1935. By the early '30s Nutting had dropped the Weymann style of fabrication in favour of more rounded, traditionally-built coachwork and so began the company's heyday of Saloon, Coupe de Ville and Sedanca de Ville bodies on Rolls-Royce and Bentley chassis. The decidedly elegant lines of this lovely Sedanca Coupe is a perfect case in point, which is one of only 22 manufactured to the specifications of London Rolls-Royce dealer Captain H.R. Owen, that are therefore also known as 'Owen Sedancas' - purchasers of these grand models included three sons of King George V and Prince Ali Khan, the husband of film star Rita Hayworth. It is understood that Chassis GSY20 was originally ordered with Thrupp & Maberley coachwork, but the buyer, an A R Tillotson, perhaps swayed by the kudos surrounding the royally patronised Gurney Nutting Sedanca Coupe, switched the build to that design, which came off test on May 4 1933.Not too much is known about the motorcar's subsequent history. It is believed to have spent time in the United States and was the subject of an older restoration that has stood the test of time well, displaying only a few minor marks and cracks in the paintwork. It is these days finished in the stately combination of Dark Green (Brewster Green or a near match) over Black and trimmed in Tan hide, and was acquired by the vendor in 1991 as an addition to his already sizeable private collection. It featured in the Miller's Guide for 1991/1992 (p.280) and is understood to have been exhibited at the RREC's Castle Ashby club event on several occasions, won a prize at Techno Classica Essen, and participated in this year's Classic Days at Schloss Dyck event. This eminently practical Coupe, with its wide doors and front seats that fold well forward to aid rear seat entry, has many notable features including: twin wing-mounted spare wheels, above the nearside one of which is mounted a rearview mirror; the comprehensive vanity units mounted either side of the rear seat; Gurney Nutting's trademark beading running from the radiator grille to each rear wheelarch. GSY20 is superbly presented by the vendor who currently considers the Coupe coachwork, paintwork, interior trim, straight-six engine and manual gearbox to all be in 'excellent' order. A rare opportunity.

1987 Desande Caprice                                             PLEASE NOTE: This lot possesses a MOT certificate valid until 14th March 2017.PLEASE NOTE: This lot is accompanied by an older type V5C Registration Document (Blue).  - Part of an extensive London-based private collection since 2002- Chevrolet V8 engine, automatic transmission, power assisted steering, air-conditioning- Reputedly 1 of just 250 madeIntroduced at the Geneva Salon in 1980, the Desande Caprice was the brainchild of Belgian designer Danny G. Vandezande (hence Desande). Inspired by Mercedes-Benz's 500K / 540K Roadsters, the newcomer was based around a separate chassis equipped with independent front suspension, disc / drum brakes and power assisted steering. Featuring a choice of Ford or Chevrolet V8 engines allied to automatic transmission, the two-seater sported a wooden dashboard / door cappings, snug fitting hood, air-conditioning and leather upholstery. Bodied and trimmed by Grand Prix Metalcraft Ltd of London because Mr Vandezande opined that England was the only place where "the skills to build a classic car conforming to modern standards were sufficiently available", a limited production run of 250 cars was initially envisaged (though, how many Caprice Roadsters were actually built is unknown). Offered for sale with clear title by order of the High Court, this particular example has formed part of an extensive London-based private collection since 6th June 2002. Finished in Red over White with Red leather upholstery and a Tan hood, an HPi check reveals that (a) the Desande has had four former keepers and (b) it is not recorded on their stolen, finance, security watch or insurance write off databases. Accompanying invoices show that over the past fourteen years 'D19 AAA' has been treated to a refurbished radiator, new gearbox / back axle gaskets and replacement shock absorbers (2002), new fuse boxes (2005), refurbished Holley carburettor (2012), fresh starter motor / alternator / torsion bar rubbers / engine mounts (2013) and a brake system overhaul (2013). Seemingly last serviced by The Chelsea Workshop at an unwarranted 8,247 miles in July 2013 (c.200 miles ago), this eye-catching, Chevy-powered retro pastiche Roadster will hopefully possess a fresh MOT certificate by the time of sale.

1971 Morris Minor 1000 Traveller                        DRX 846K' was one of the last Travellers built at Adderley Park and comes in the attractive combination of Teal Blue bodywork and Lime Green interior. Its last three keepers have all been mechanical engineers - the first treated it to a complete body restoration; the second carried out such improvements as Waxoyling and the fitment of stainless steel sills; and the vendor's continued rolling programme of restoration has included: the installation of new door bottoms and full respray; revarnishing of the woodwork; the fitment of a new Gold Seal engine and clutch just 400-plus miles ago. The Morris's upgraded specification includes brake servo, alternator and additional instruments, and the vendor currently grades the engine as 'excellent', bodywork and paintwork as 'very good', transmission as 'good' and interior trim as 'average'. The extensive collection of MOTs is understood to verify the mileage of 96,800 and the Traveller comes complete with copious invoices for work done.

1962 Bristol 407                                                  The 407 was in many ways a landmark car for the quintessentially British manufacturer Bristol. It was the first to be produced since the company's car and aviation divisions had gone their separate ways. It was also the first to be powered by an engine other than Bristol's own BMW-derived straight-six that, after 14 years of sterling service, now lacked the output of more contemporary units. In its place sat a Canadian-built 5130cc (313ci) Chrysler V8 which, with an output of 250bhp, endowed the 407 with literally double the power of the outgoing 406 and, in instead of the familiar four-speed manual transmission it drove through a three-speed Chrysler Torque flight automatic unit. The front suspension now featured coil rather than leaf springing and the rack and pinion steering was superseded by a Marles worm-type system. The styling, more evolution than revolution, resulted in sharper lines and flatter panels than exhibited by its predecessor. Motor magazine's period road test of the model proved it capable of sprinting to 60mph in 9.2 seconds and accelerating on to a top speed of 125.2mph.Copies of this Bristol's factory records show it was delivered new to sole dealer Anthony Crook Motors on June 6, 1962. It is one of an estimated 88 made, of which only 20 or so apparently remain in roadworthy condition. The original engine was replaced by a 'new old stock' unit in 2008 at an indicated 42,000 miles, while the Beige interior was treated to a sympathetic £4,260 refurbishment in 2010 and the steering box overhauled still more recently. Finished in eye-catching Lava Red, '559 JTV' now registers an unwarranted but entirely feasible 63,000 miles and is being offered complete with a detailed service history that evidently confirms this rare English classic has been regularly and properly maintained throughout its 54 years.

1965 Daimler V8-250                                              This tidy Maroon V8 is understood to be completely original apart from a long list of desirable extras that include: power steering; Coopercraft brakes; Harvey Bailey handling kit; stainless steel exhaust system; oil cooler; Facet fuel pump; Kenlowe electric fan; wire wheels; and Coombs-style wheel arches. 'LGU 967D' currently displays an unwarranted 84,000 miles and is considered by the vendor to have 'excellent' bodywork, paintwork, Black interior trim, V8 engine and automatic transmission. It is now offered complete with green log book, Heritage Certificate, original handbook and a comprehensive history that includes a sizeable collection of invoices. The V8-250 was a derivative of the all-conquering MKII Jaguar. Its name was drawn from its engine - a lightweight, eight-cylinder one of 2,548cc. This was mated to a Borg Warner three-speed automatic or four-speed manual gearbox. Production continued until manufacture of all MKII derivatives ceased in 1969, by which time some 17,620 of the Daimler version had been made.

It is a car that takes personalisation to a new level, where the vehicle is a canvas on which you can paint your vision. With its extended wheelbase, 2 inches (50mm) to the front and 8 inches (200mm) to the rear compartment, the RL retains the classic Arnage profile whilst offering even more palatial comfort for the passengers. None were to standard specification because each one was personalised according to the whim and taste of its first owner. With a clientele that included heads of state, A-list celebrities and the mega wealthy, the Crewe firm sought to ensure that its flagship four-door saloon / limousine could offer an unrivalled interior ambience. As well as a 250mm wheelbase (though, 450mm and 728mm stretches were available too), the Arnage RL gained uprated brake and suspension systems. Powered by a thoroughly revised, twin-turbocharged version of Bentley's iconic 6.75-litre V8 engine allied to automatic transmission, it was reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 6.2 seconds and 155mph (unless armoured to B6 specification, a c.£250,000 option!) Less ostentatious than a Rolls-Royce Phantom but in many ways no less beguiling to be chauffeured around in, any Arnage RL remains a very special motor car.Offered for sale with clear title by order of the High Court, this particular example has formed part of an extensive London-based private collection since 9th February 2012 when it was purchased from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London for £75,000. 2012 Bentley Continental GTC                              PLEASE NOTE: This lot possesses a MOT certificate valid until 28th November 2017.PLEASE NOTE: This lot is not accompanied by a V5C Registration Document. The new owner will have to apply for a replacement one by completing a V62 form and submitting it to the DVLA together with a fee of £25.  - Part of an extensive London-based collection from new (one former keeper shown on HPi due to a registration number change)- Second generation Continental GTC, 6-litre twin-turbocharged W12 engine and quoted 195mph top speed- Purchased from Jack Barclay for £175,000 and just 500 recorded miles'In fact, driving the car will make anyone feel just a bit more sophisticated. Inside the luxurious cabin furnished with highest quality soft-touch leather, cool-touch metals and deep pile carpets, plus intricate wood veneers that surround and accent the dash and the doors, you feel like you're royalty on wheels. With the sun shining, the soft-top down and the wind flowing freely around the cabin, it's hard to beat this driving experience . . . While the Bentley Continental GTC screams opulence, car enthusiasts will still appreciate its sporting side. After all, Bentley has always been known as a driver's car. Thanks to 40/60 rear biased all-wheel drive, front double wishbone and rear multilink suspension acting all-around with Pirelli PZero 275/35 ZR-21 tires (20-in. standard), not only does the GTC turn into curves with composure, it is also ready to accelerate out with immediacy via a quickshift ZF 6-speed automatic transmission' (Road and Track magazine's Patrick Hong writing about the second generation GTC in October 2011).Introduced at the New York Motor Show in April 2006, the Bentley Continental GT Convertible (or GTC) proved an immediate sales success. Determined to engineer the most torsionally rigid open four-seater that money could buy, the Crewe manufacturer (a) incorporated additional steel tubing within the newcomer's A-posts and windscreen frame, (b) reinforcing its sills and (c) cross braced the floorplan to a greater degree. The result was a class leading 16,595ft-lb per degree. A very near match in dynamic terms for its Coupe sibling, the Convertible utilised the same crushingly powerful twin-turbocharged 6-litre W12 engine, Torsen-based permanent four-wheel drive system, massive ABS-backed disc brakes and sophisticated all-round independent air suspension. Electro-hydraulically operated, the Bentley's luxuriously padded fabric roof not only stowed away neatly but also provided almost limousine levels of refinement. Reputedly capable of over 190mph when topless, the GTC featured two sturdy steel hoops concealed beneath its rear headrests which could be deployed within fractions of a second if the onboard computer sensed an impending roll. Arguably more of a 2+2-seater than a true four-seater, the model could raise or lower its hood at speeds of up to 20mph (a nice party piece in slow moving traffic). Unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, the second generation GTC could be had in W12 or V8 powered guises. The former was reworked to develop a quoted 567bhp and 516lbft of torque, outputs sufficient for a claimed 0-60mph time of 4.4 seconds and a 195mph top speed. As well as various mechanical refinements, the second generation cars also benefited from a mild facelift which only served to make Dirk Van Braekel's styling look even more muscular yet elegant. Offered for sale with clear title by order of the High Court, this particular example has formed part of an extensive London-based private collection since new. Purchased from Jack Barclay for £175,000, its lavish specification included a rear view camera, three-spoke two-tone hide trimmed steering wheel, wind deflector, neck warmer, ventilation and massage function to front seats, bright chromed lower bumper matrix, upgraded Madrona veneer, Nav Trak, TV Tuner to infotainment system, Driving Specification (Polished) wheels, red-painted brake callipers, lambswool rugs, embroidered Bentley emblems, Head Cross Stitching to door panels, Porcelain paintwork and Linen leather upholstery with Hotspur secondary leather inserts. 1984 Leyland Mini Moke Californian                      - Believed to be the first RHD Portuguese Moke brought to the UK by Dutton, the importer- Originally pale blue, A31 FUF was reportedly used in a lot of the early publicity by Dutton- Much enjoyed by the current owner, and supplied with a set of original style seatsWhen production of the Australian produced Mini Moke ceased, British Leyland began building the Californian version at one of their plants in Portugal. The Dutton name was very well-known in the 1980's as one of the largest kit-car manufacturers in the world, and in the early 1980's it is understood that they started importing Mokes into England. A31 FUF was first registered in England in May 1984 and is believed to have been the first right hand drive Moke imported by Dutton and used in a lot of their promotional activities and publications. The vendor informs us that it was originally pale blue and is now painted a Land Rover grey, and they describe it as being an older restoration that now has "good" paintwork, "very good" bodywork and engine, and an "excellent" gearbox. It is expected to be supplied with a history file containing a few receipts, magazines in which the car has been featured, a hood frame, hood, and door panels, and also a set of original style seats should the next owner wish to fit them.

1996 Aston Martin DB7                                           PLEASE NOTE: The estimate in the printed catalogue is incorrect. The correct estimate is 16,000 - 20,000 Although Victor Gauntlett had long mooted the idea, it took the arrival of Ford money and TWR Group know-how for a new generation, 'small' Aston Martin to become reality. Unveiled at the March 1993 Geneva Salon, the DB7 revived the nomenclature of the much vaunted and now highly collectable David Brown Astons of the '50s and '60s, but had been subjected to more testing and development work than any of the marque's previous models. powered by a supercharged 3239cc DOHC straight-six engine allied to either manual or automatic transmission with a quoted 335bhp / 361lbft of torque on tap, the newcomer boasted 160mph performance. This right-hand drive automatic transmission DB7 is finished in Silver with a Grey hide interior and displays 71,200 miles. Offered with a collection of invoices and old MOT's plus original book pack with handbooks and service book its understood that a fresh MOT will be present by the time of sale.

2004 Bentley Continental GT                                  - Cypress with Savannah / Spruce leather, walnut trim- 8 Bentley services and 4 Bentley specialist services, last on 12/8/16- MoT to August 2017, showing c.83,500 milesIntroduced at the 2003 Geneva Salon, the Continental GT was the most technologically advanced Bentley in generations. Powered by the marque's first all-new engine since 1959, its twin-turbocharged 5998cc W12 was allied to six-speed ZF Tiptronic transmission. With a quoted 552bhp and 479lbft of torque on tap plus Torsen-based permanent four-wheel drive, the 2+2-seater GT was reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds and 198mph. A deft blend of muscularity and elegance, the two-door coupe's lines were the work of Dirk Van Braekel. Equipped with sophisticated independent suspension and ventilated ABS disc brakes all-round, the Continental GT proved an accomplished transcontinental express.Finished in Cypress Green with Savannah / Spruce leather interior, this example is described as being in "very good" condition with regards to its paintwork, bodywork, engine, interior, electrics and transmission. Registering some 83,500 miles it has been serviced by Bentley eight times and then by Bentley specialists 4 times, with the last carried out on 12 August this year. Well-appointed with walnut trim, the car is offered with Swansea V5C and current MoT to August 2017.

1984 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Sport                          - UK supplied car, original under boot sticker and space saver spare wheel- Warranted 99,800 miles from new, engine overhauled less than 1,500 miles ago- Recently recommissioned by M R Performance Cars of SalisburyThe 911 Carrera 3.2 made its debut at the 1983 Frankfurt Motorshow. Estimated to be 80 percent new, the model's 3164cc (hence '3.2') flat-six engine was credited with developing some 231bhp and 209lbft of torque. Allied to a five-speed transmission, it proved both rev-happy and flexible. Capable of 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds and 153mph, the Carrera 3.2 was progressively refined and updated over the course of its six-year production run. From 1984, those looking for that little bit extra in terms of poise and road presence could opt for the 'Sport' package (later known as 'Sport Equipment') which included a deeper front valance, 'tea tray' rear spoiler, Bilstein dampers and 16-inch Fuchs forged alloy wheels.Originally finished in Grand Prix White with Navy Blue pinstripe upholstery and a sunroof, this particular example was supplied new to Mr Jacobs of Henley-on-Thames. The presence of eight service stamps up to 73,657 miles not to mention a wealth of accompanying MOT certificates mean that the vendor is happy to warrant the current odometer reading of 99,800 miles as representing the total covered from new. Treated to an engine overhaul less than 1,500 miles ago before being dry stored for nigh-on a decade, the Porsche was recommissioned by M R Performance Cars of Salisbury just a few months ago at a cost of some £3,055.68. As well as a thorough service, attention was paid to the 911's brake system, fuel system, sensors, engine mounts and washer pump etc. Driven over 1,000 trouble-free miles since then, the Carrera 3.2 has also benefited from a partial repaint. Still sporting its original under boot specification sticker and unused space saver spare wheel (the latter complete with tie-on factory warning label), 'B890 OPJ' appears to have led something of a charmed life. Offered for sale with service book, sundry invoices and MOT certificate valid until 18th October 2017.

2011 Rolls-Royce Ghost                                         PLEASE NOTE: This lot possesses a MOT certificate valid until 27th November 2017. We love its style, its sumptuousness and the attention to detail that one would expect from a Rolls-Royce. The interior is a very different experience to that in the Phantom, more driver-focused as the Ghost is likely to be driven more by its owners. Yet there is almost as much room in the back and it is no less grand than its bigger brother. Even the rear-hinged back doors are present and correct. Unsurprisingly, it's no Phantom, but instead the less grand, more intimate kind of Rolls-Royce it always needed to be' (Autocar magazine, 2010).Previewed at the Geneva and Shanghai Motor Shows but formally unveiled in Frankfurt, the Rolls-Royce Ghost was styled by Andreas Thurner. Intended to complement the imperious Phantom, the newcomer was more aesthetically balanced (albeit at the cost of a lesser road presence). Engineered by Helmut Riedl who had overseen the development of its larger sibling, the Ghost was based around a steel monocoque chassis equipped with such advanced fully-independent air suspension that it could detect a rear seat passenger moving from one side to the other and retune accordingly. Maintaining composure was an important consideration given that the svelte saloon's 6.6 litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine produced some 562bhp and 575lbft of torque. Lighter, nimbler and more powerful than the Phantom, the Ghost was reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 4.7 seconds and 155mph (limited). Though, the standard fitment of ZF's excellent eight-speed automatic transmission allowed drivers to progress as serenely or rapidly as they saw fit. A touch bolder in its choice of fixtures and fittings, the Ghost's cabin nonetheless proved a very welcoming cocoon from the outside world. Features shared with the Phantom included the provision of rear-hinged 'coach' doors to access the back seat and a 'floating' RR emblem contained within each wheel centre which remained vertical until the UK's legal motorway speed limit had been exceeded. Still one of the finest luxury saloons money can buy (the model's current list price sans options is £222,888), the 'baby' Rolls-Royce is certainly worthy of its illustrious moniker.Offered for sale with clear title by order of the High Court, this particular example has formed part of an extensive London-based private collection since 13th October 2011 when it was purchased from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars London for £212,000. Some five months' old at the time, the Ghost had covered just 218 miles. Finished in Gunmetal Metallic with Black leather upholstery, the former offset by a Silver Satin bonnet / windscreen surround and the latter by a Seashell transmission tunnel / door card inserts, 'LJ11 JEU' was built with the following extras: Driver's Assistance Package One (Head-Up Display, Lane Departure Warning), High Beam Assistance, Adaptive Headlights, Camera System, Rear Theatre Configuration, Multimedia Changer, Comfort Entry System, Panoramic Sunroof, RR emblem to all headrests in contrasting Seashell, Individual Seats / Contrast Stitching, Television Tuner, 20in Alloy Wheels, Chromed Visible Exhaust, Extended Leather, Polished Stainless Steel Tread Plates, Picnic Tables and Lambswool Footmats. An HPi check reveals that (a) the Ghost has had one former keeper and (b) it is not recorded on their stolen, finance, security watch or insurance write off databases. While a UK Government Vehicle MOT History search shows that the luxury saloon was MOT tested at 1,668 (2/6/2014) and 2,223 (1/5/2015) miles. Now displaying some 2,800 miles to its odometer, this handsome Ghost will hopefully possess a fresh MOT certificate by the time of sale.

1952 Bentley R-Type Straight-Eight Special                 'The Fire Engine'      - Built by a former director of Rolls-Royce motorcars, and professional engineer, in the 1990s as a tribute to the 'Scalded Cat' Bentleys- Powered by a 6.5 litre Rolls-Royce B81 straight-eight engine allied to automatic transmission- Veteran of numerous rallies including the Bentley Drivers' Club's Tour of South Africa in 2003 (c.4,000 miles)Rolls-Royce built two straight-eight powered Bentleys using the 'B'-series eight-cylinder variant of the standard six-cylinder engine (one of which was loaned to HRH Prince Philip who was apparently reluctant to hand it back). These were dubbed 'Scalded Cats' and in the mid-1960s Robin Moore started to plan a similar car based on a R-Type Chassis. He was working in the experimental department of Rolls-Royce at the time and an internal memo dated August 1965 sees him asking if any ex-test cars would become available. This plan did not come to anything with the acquisition of an S1 Continental Convertible in the late 1960s consuming all available time and cash and the collapse of Rolls-Royce and his move to Surrey to work for W. S. Atkins closing off further progress. In the mid-1980s he had bought a Harry Rose-bodied MkVI Special and his interest in a B80-engined special was reignited. He acquired a Thorneycroft Nubian Fire Engine for its powerplant and an R-Type that had rotten coachwork but a sound chassis and running gear was also sourced. The body was stripped off the Bentley and work started on modifications to the chassis. The cruciform was cut and the front section moved back in the chassis by twelve inches. The front chassis side rails were extended and reinforced to provide space for the longer engine. All of the running gear was overhauled and meticulously reinstated. An elegant open tourer body was designed and commissioned in traditional ash framing and aluminium panels and the car was completed in late 1992. During the development, a B81 with its larger capacity of 6.52litres had been found and this replaced the B80. The R-Type automatic gearbox was retained and an R-Type Continental back axle ratio fitted which with the 17-inch wheels, provides relaxed cruising. At this stage he was persuaded that an elegant blue and grey colour scheme was preferable to the bright red he had envisaged to fit with the name.Used and enjoyed for numerous trips around the UK, the Special also ventured as far afield as South Africa for the Bentley Drivers' Club's 2003 tour of that country which saw participants cover circa 4,000 miles! However, the B81 engine that had been fitted was from an army training establishment and it became clear that it had had a hard life. In 2008 the opportunity came up to buy a brand new, unused B81G which is the variant of the B81 designed to run on propane or natural gas. It therefore has a much higher compression ratio - increased from 6.4:1 to 8.0:1 which modern fuels can run without any issue and provides a further boost in output to ensure that it is, in Rolls-Royce terminology 'adequate' (a standard B81 unit is estimated to develop 220bhp and 330lbft of torque).A full and detailed history is provided with the car as is weather equipment and a MOT certificate valid until October 2017.

1964 Mercedes-Benz 220 SEB Coupe                  This lovely big Benz has had just four keepers from new, the first of whom retained it for 32 years. Fitted with the rarer four-speed manual floor change gearbox and sunroof, the vendor acquired it in 2015 and believes it had been kept rain-free since being restored and resprayed five years earlier. The Coupe is understood to have started life in Glasgow before spending an extended period in the Channel Islands. Earlier this year the vendor commissioned Classic Restorations of Alyth to carry out any remedial work they felt was required, the bill for which totalled £4,250. Finished in Black over Silver and trimmed in a very attractive shade of Red leather, 'BLR 829B' is now ready to be enjoyed by a new keeper and is being offered complete with: receipts dating back to 2000 and for the 2010 restoration that included work to the brakes, suspension and exhaust system, powder coated wheels, new tyres and radiator and fresh upholstery, headlining carpet and dash; plus a number of old MOTs and one valid to November 16 next year. Judging by the paperwork, the recorded mileage of 73,000 is almost certainly genuine. A fine example of period Mercedes-Benz engineering.Via the W111 'fintail' series of 1959, Mercedes continued its practice of offering special two-door Coupe or Roadster versions of its Saloon cars, and the 220SEB took this supreme elegance to a whole new level. Based on the flagship S-class W111 'fintail' Saloon, with its signature upright headlights and imposing traditional Mercedes-Benz grille, the Coupe comprised a light and airy pillarless glasshouse over a distinctive two-door body. The 220 Coupe was very well appointed inside, featuring Mercedes textured leather and wood trimmings. The model's 2195cc, SOHC engine employed mechanical fuel injection of the same type as the 'Pagoda' SLs - its 120bhp being sufficient to propel the car at up to 106mph. A total of some 14,173 220SEB Coupes were built between 1961 and 1965 when the run was terminated.

The Range Rover's odometer currently reads an unwarranted 127,000 miles and the vendor now regards its bodywork, paintwork, diesel engine and five-speed manual transmission as all being in 'excellent' order, and is offering the vehicle complete with Heritage Certificate, invoices for work done, and second set of keys. Launched in 1970, the Range Rover was initially powered by a 3.5-litre version of Rover's ubiquitous Buick-derived V8, and it was the 1988 model year version of the vehicle that was the first to be offered with the option of a turbo diesel engine - the Italian-made 2.4-litre VM Motori unit.

It then remained unused as part of a private collection until 2010, immediately prior to which it was treated to a professional ground-up restoration to show standard, and converted to righthand drive. It is finished in the classic combination of British Racing Green bodywork and Black interior trim and boasts overdrive and chrome wire wheels, as well as such performance upgrades as: stainless steel exhaust system, alloy fuel tank and radiator, oil cooler, high torque starter, and electronic ignition system. The mileage now totals an unwarranted 79,000 miles and the vendor currently considers the bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, straight-six engine and four-speed transmission as all being in 'very good condition'. The Healey comes complete with various receipts for work carried out and an MOT valid into November of next year. A seemingly fine example of the final iteration of one of the most sought after British classics. The 'Big' Healey enjoyed steady development, with the four-cylinder cars giving way to the 100-Six of 1956, which was replaced by the first of the 3000s in 1959. The final iteration was the 3000 MKIII, which was launched in October 1963 and mildly upgraded (Phase 2) in May the following year. The most powerful and luxurious of all the derivatives, it had lively performance courtesy of its 150bhp straight-six engine and featured such niceties as wind up windows and a walnut-veneer facia. 3000 production closed at the end of 1967 after 42,926 had been made, 17,712 of which were MKIIIs. Motor magazine's road test of the MKIII recorded a 0-60mph time of 9.8 seconds and a top speed of 122.5mph.

1938 Morris 14/6 Series III Saloon                          - Reputedly 1 of just six surviving examples known to the pre-1940 Morris Register- Remarkably well-preserved thanks in part to 30 plus years' spent in dry storage- First registered in Huntingdonshire and understood to have been a staff car at RAF WarboysA car to make William Morris - or indeed any manufacturer - proud, this 14/6 Series III Saloon has survived remarkably well since it was first road registered as 'BEW 234' by Huntingdon County Council on October 1st 1938. Sporting a chrome-plated (rather than painted) radiator shell and braided silk interior pull handles for its rear seat passengers, the Morris is understood to have served as an Air Ministry staff car at RAF Warboys. A handwritten annotation to the continuation buff logbook in its accompanying history file indicates that the four-door saloon was subsequently sold to Arthur William Newman Esq on 19th February 1944. Proprietor of the local Supply Stores, Mr Newman used 'BEW 234' for delivering goods to his best customers into the 1960s. Relocating to Hounslow, West London thereafter with Lewis Nevile White Esq, the 14/6 Series III was laid-up in a garage during the late 1970s. Left to slumber for over thirty years, the Morris was recommissioned by its previous keeper via a thorough service, brake system overhaul, reconditioned Jackall system, new 6-volt batteries and fresh cross-ply tyres. Starting readily upon inspection, its 1.8 litre OHV six-cylinder engine is thought to have been overhauled in the past. Boasting synchromesh on third and fourth gears, 'BEW 234' is said to possess a surprising turn of speed for a 1930s saloon. Pleasingly retaining its original Brown leather upholstery and some of its factory-applied Black paintwork, the Morris exudes a wonderful patina. The doors all open and close with a satisfying 'thunk' and overall the car gives an impression of solidity which perhaps explains its longevity. Reputedly one of just six surviving 14/6 Series III saloons known to the pre-1940 Morris Register, 'BEW 234' is just the sort of car that would have taken spectators to the first Goodwood race meetings or witnessed Sir Stirling Moss's Prescott debut etc.

Fitted with an enlarged 1962cc 'twin-cam' engine developing some 131bhp, it inherited the longer wheelbase platform and all wheel disc brakes of its older 1750 GTV sibling. This UK supplied RHD example is finished in green with tan vinyl interior and is described as being an extensive older restoration that was off the road from 1989 to 2016 due the demise of the previous owner. It is understood to have had just three previous owners with ownership transferring into the late owner's wife's name in 1998. The odometer registers c.79,000 believed genuine miles, which is supported by old MOTs and invoices from 1978-1989. There is also letter from the original owner dated 11th November 1977 that certifies, at that time, that the car had had one lady driver and the mileage at that time of 27,000 miles was a 'genuine and true reading'. Some light body restoration was carried out in 1983 including new sills, rear wheel arches and a near side door followed by a glass-out respray. Stored from 1989 to 2015, recent recommissioning work includes a brake over haul, head gasket and water pump as well as replacing numerous other parts. 1952 Jaguar XK120 Roadster                                  An eye-catching sight in period Pastel Green, this lovely lefthand drive Roadster has had just three owners from new and only one for the last 48 years. A remarkably original, unrestored, matching numbers example even down to its cylinder head, it has undoubtedly benefited greatly from a life in the California sunshine and being garaged when not in use. A recent £5,500 recommission means it is now ready for a new keeper to add to the existing relatively modest mileage of 66,000. The vendor variously grades the Jaguar as having an 'excellent' XK engine, 'very good' Roadster bodywork and manual transmission, 'average' paintwork, and 'poor' Green interior trim. UK registered and equipped with original-style Ace number plates, 'YNG 503' should be eligible for a number of significant historic events, including the Mille Miglia. The stunning-looking XK120 Roadster caused a sensation when it was launched at the London Motor Show of 1948. Capable of 120 mph and more (hence the name), it immediately assumed the mantle of the world's fastest production car. The equally elegant Fixed Head Coupe version followed in 1951 with the Drop Head Coupe completing the range in 1953. The key to the car's stunning performance was its all new, alloy-headed DOHC 3.4-litre, straight-six engine, the basic design of which successfully powered a whole range of Jaguars until the late '80s. In standard form the output was 160bhp, but in SE (Special Equipment) guise (which included firmer suspension and a twin exhaust) this rose to 180bhp, and with the C-Type head installed nearer 200bhp was on tap. In testing a Fixed Head SE XK120 in 1952, Autocar achieved a 0-60mph time of 9.9 seconds. The 120's suspension was independent by wishbones and torsion bars at the front and by live axle mounted on semi-elliptic leaf springs at the rear.

Capable of over 90mph, the luxuriously appointed four-door saloon gained a larger 4566cc powerplant during 1951 and the option of four-speed automatic transmission the following year. Suspension was independent at the front and by live axle on semi-elliptic leaves at the rear. Braking was by servo-assisted drums all-round. A total of just 761 Silver Dawns had been manufactured by the time the model was supplanted by the Silver Cloud.Offered for sale with clear title by order of the High Court, this particular example has formed part of an extensive London-based private collection since 10th April 1989. Understood to be one of just 170 4.25-litre Silver Dawns made, chassis SFC 82 was delivered new to J. Plunkett Esq. during November 1951. Completed over four decades later, a handwritten valuation form on file claims that `The engine, gearbox, rear axle, suspension and brakes have all been overhauled . . . Vehicle has one owner from new and then myself . . . During the course of nine years it cost me over £39,000 just to restore the car with original parts'. Accompanying invoices and estimates suggest that The Bentley Service Centre of Nine Elms and The Chelsea Workshop undertook at least part of the refurbishment. Starting readily upon inspection, the Silver Dawn's last major service (a 24,000 miles `C' schedule one) appears to have been carried out by The Chelsea Workshop at a cost of £6,102.42 during May 2013 (less than 200 miles ago). An HPi check reveals that the Silver Dawn is not recorded on their stolen, finance, security watch or insurance write off databases.

1952 Bristol 401                                                      - 1 of just 618 made, matching chassis and engine numbers- Recent bare metal repaint, sundry rechroming and mechanical recommissioning"This, indeed, is the car for the connoisseur. It can only be modesty on the part of the Bristol publicity boys which has prevented them from quoting as the 401's slogan 'The Best Car in Britain'" (Motor Sport magazine, January 1953). Introduced in Autumn 1949, the 401 was characterised by its super-smooth, aerodynamic bodywork. Honed in the Bristol Aeroplane Company's wind tunnel and built using Milanese coachbuilder Touring's 'Superleggera' technique, it boasted a commendably lithe kerb weight (c.2,700lbs). Equipped with transverse-leaf independent front suspension and hydraulic drum brakes, the newcomer proved a notably fine handler taking Touring Class wins on both the Cannes and Tulip Rallies during 1951. Powered by a 1971cc OHV straight-six engine allied to four-speed manual transmission, the elegant sports saloon promised nigh-on 100mph performance. Only in production for four years (by which time a mere 618 are thought to have been made), the model's exclusive £3,212 13s 4d price tag was a reflection of the aircraft quality materials used in its construction.Supplied new by Anthony Crook Ltd of Hersham, Surrey, this particular example - chassis 401/1094 - was dry stored for some sixteen years prior to entering the current ownership. An enthusiast who had driven Bristols on various historic rallies, the vendor treated `VSJ 780' to a bare metal repaint and sundry rechroming plus some sympathetic mechanical recommissioning. As well as a new cylinder head gasket, the original `matching numbers' engine benefited from new core plugs, flushed out waterways and overhauled carburettors. The radiator core was attended to as were the water pump, starter solenoid, wiring and brakes. Finished in Cambridge Grey Metallic with Dark Blue leather upholstery, the Bristol is variously described by the vendor as being in `good' (electrical equipment), `very good' (bodywork, paintwork, engine, interior trim) or `excellent' (gearbox) condition. Offered for sale with parts manual invoices and various vehicle documents.

1936 Alvis Crested Eagle TF 19.82 Saloon            Thought to be one of only four such Alvis cars to remain, one of which is in the USA and another in Sweden, this Charlesworth-bodied Saloon is finished in Burgundy over Black and trimmed in Burgundy leather. Delivered new to its first owner in Newmarket during September/October 1936, it was subsequently acquired by a Mr L Camidge in 1965, Mr Tim Dale in 1980, Mr Mike Cummins in 1998, and Mr Brian Garratt in 2003. `DGY 755' was treated to a thorough `chassis up' restoration by an enthusiast during the 1980s, which included a complete refurbishment of the interior. The Alvis has driven less than 1,500 miles since the work was completed and the vendor grades the bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, four-speed all-synchromesh manual gearbox and 2.7 litre engine as all being in `good' order.

1933 Rolls-Royce 20/25 Sports Saloon                  - Bespoke Abbott coachwork as featured in The Autocar (16/2/1934)- Pictured in 'Coachwork on Rolls-Royce 1906-1939' by L. Dalton amongst others- Original registration number, engine and mother of pearl inlaysHighlighting its `straight waistline, swept tail, and swept valanced wings and running boards', The Autocar also pictured chassis GGA3 as part of an article entitled `Coachwork of Character - A Review of Special Bodies of All Types for Large and Small Chassis' which was published on February 16th 1934. One of just nine 20/25 chassis to be clothed by E.D. Abbott Ltd of Farnham, the Sports Saloon was supplied new to Mrs Duffus of Cumberland Court, London W1. The Rolls-Royce's elegant exterior was complemented by an equally stylish interior featuring mother-of-pearl inlays as well as leather upholstery and silk pulls. Intended for use `in the UK - mainly touring' and to carry two passengers most of the time, the Sports Saloon belonged to tank commander Lt Colonel C.M.F. Deakin by late 1945. Thereafter, it is known to have passed through the hands of Colonel R.J.K. Fenton (Woodbridge), Paddon Bros (London), Dr F.L. Lawson (Ontario), Dr J.C. Wain (Pennsylvania), James F. Labadie (Ohio), Dale W. Beavers (Ohio), John H. Parnell (Louisiana), Lyn Thomas (Dyfed), Les J. Jones (New Tredegar) and Norman Cawood (Skipton).Extensively restored by Mr Cawood between 1995 and 2010, chassis GGA3 has since been treated to a new headlining, stainless steel exhaust and Wilton carpets not to mention being reunited with its original `BPA 440' number plate. Illustrated in `Coachwork on Rolls-Royce 1906-1939' (L. Dalton), `The Flying Lady' magazine and the Rolls-Royce Owners' Club's 20/25 handbook, this most attractive Sports Saloon has benefited from much recent cosmetic and mechanical work following its acquisition as part of a business deal by the vendor, a lifelong Roll-Royce collector, and performed extremely well on a recent road test. Offered with a fresh MoT and ready to be enjoyed, BPA 440 is only being offered to help fund other projects.

1968 Morris Mini Cooper Evocation                    PLEASE NOTE: This vehicle has an MOT until August 2017.  - Convincing MKI Cooper Evocation offering all the fun of an original but at a fraction of the price- Cooper-style engine, front disc brakes and wider wheels etc- Repainted, re-trimmed and fitted with a MKI grille and tail lights etcEver since the first Austin and Morris Mini Coopers debuted in September 1961 enthusiasts have been dressing up lesser variants to look like their more famous, 'go faster' siblings (a trend which shows no signs of abating given the ever increasing prices of original Cooper and Cooper S models). Beginning life as MKII Mini 1000, this particular example has only recently been transformed into a MKI Cooper Evocation. Repainted in its original Almond Green but with the additional of a White roof, the diminutive saloon boasts a wood rim steering wheel and front bucket seats to its re-trimmed interior. Riding on wider Cooper-style wheels, 'JBG 847F' also features a Cooper-style 998cc engine fed by twin SU carburettors and Cooper-style front disc brakes. The fitment of a MKI radiator grille and MKI tail lights help complete the illusion. Starting readily upon inspection and sounding as raucous and purposeful as a sporting Mini should, this delightful and convincing MKI Cooper Evocation is offered for sale with V5C Registration Document and fresh MOT certificate.

1975 Bentley T-Series                                              - A rare Bentley T1 in a very agreeable colour combination- Supplied with a quantity of hand books and its original service book, plus various invoices- Reported by the vendor to be in "very good" to "excellent" condition in all respectsThis wonderfully coloured Bentley T1 was first registered in May 1975 and is believed to have been supplied new by Rossleigh of Perth. The hand book is accompanied by the original service book which apparently has maintenance stamps from both Rossleigh and HR Owen, and also Phantom Motors of Surrey in 1996. Bills are on file that show £2,700 has been spent on the car in last two years by a known Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist in West London. Supplied with the rare option of speed (cruise) control the sumptuous burgundy interior also includes the original Pioneer cassette player and the Blaupunkt radio receiver (instruction books for both are present). With the previous owner having purchased the car in 1998, the vendor and his daughter recently acquired this silver-grey coloured T1 on a whim as his late father used to own a similarly coloured and aged Silver Shadow many years ago. Very much a car enthusiast, he regrettably now has to see the car find a new home due to a lack of appropriate storage and his daughter's unexpected overseas work posting. MOT'd until October 2017, the vendor recently had a most pleasurable drive in the car from London to his Gloucestershire home, and he describes the Bentley as having "very good" bodywork, paintwork, and interior trim, and "excellent" engine, transmission, and electrical equipment.

2002 Porsche 911 Turbo                                          Interest in Porsche's apparently immortal 911 continues apace and the various Turbo models are among the most sought after of all. This very tidy-looking 996 from 2002 has had just two owners and covered 31,988 miles from new, as verified by the stamps of 11 services from Porsche Centre Solihull and the one carried out as recently as June this year by the Porsche Centre Wolverhampton. Finished in the popular combination of Seal Grey bodywork and Black leather interior trim, 'RF02 ZYR' comes with an MOT valid to July 25 next year, and bodywork, paintwork, interior trim, flat-six engine and five-speed Tiptronic transmission that's all classed by the vendor as being 'excellent' order. Debuted at the 1999 Frankfurt Salon, the 996 Turbo was available from late 2000 to 2005. Its twin turbochargers endowed the 3.6-litre engine with an output of 415bhp, which when coupled with four-wheel drive transmission as standard equipment made for a very potent all-weather weapon indeed.

1954 Austin-Healey 100                                          - A home market car in the current family ownership for 40-plus years- An older restoration with supporting photographs- Recent gearbox overhaul by JME HealeysDonald Healey's eponymous company built a prototype two-seater sports car for display at the 1952 London Motor Show. It was based on Austin A90 Atlantic mechanicals and sported a notably sleek body designed by Gerry Coker and built by Tickford. It was dubbed the 'Healey Hundred' and, subject to a suitably encouraging response, Healey planned to build production versions in-house at his Warwick factory. As things transpired, the Ice Blue prototype so excited Austin's Managing Director, Leonard Lord, that he struck a deal to build the car in volume at Longbridge. The newcomer was renamed the Austin-Healey 100/4 and the rest is history. The 100/4's chassis was a departure from the company's previous backbone designs and comprised a pair of three-inch square box-section side members. The car had 11in drum brakes all round, while the front suspension was independent by coil springs and the rear featured a traditional 'live' axle supported by semi-elliptic leaf springs. A 1953 BN1 tested by Motor returned a top speed of 106mph and achieved the 0-60mph dash in 11.2 seconds. A total of 10,688 BN1s were produced between January 1953 and 1955.This lovely-looking home market 100/4 is finished in Spruce Green matched with a Green leather interior. The subject of an older restoration, 'PPT 848' has remained within the same family ownership for over 40 years, though apparently had little use since the last full service. The vendor these days regards the bodywork and paintwork as 'very good' and the 2.6-litre engine and interior trim as 'good', while the three-speed manual overdrive gearbox has recently been overhauled by JME Healeys. He is now offering the Healey complete with new battery and history file containing photos of the restoration, plus sundry invoices and old MOTs etc.

1996 Ferrari F355 Berlinetta                                    Reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 4.6 seconds, 0-100mph in 10.6 seconds and 185mph, the Pininfarina-styled F355 was an undoubted supercar. Introduced at the May 1994 Geneva Salon, the F355 could be had in fixed-head Berlinetta or targa-roofed GTS guises (though, a Spider later joined the range). Based around a robot-welded sheet steel monocoque equipped with all-round independent double-wishbone suspension, ventilated ABS disc brakes and power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, the two-seater featured a new computer-controlled electronic damper system that self-adjusted depending upon the feedback gleaned from various road speed, brake pressure, suspension loading and steering sensors. Further enhanced by a ground-effects undertray, the F355 was revealed to be seven seconds a lap faster round Ferrari's Fiorano test track than the 348 (and four seconds quicker than a 512TR). Beautifully trimmed, the model's cosseting interior came with leather upholstery, electric windows and air-conditioning as standard. Longitudinally mid-mounted, its 3.5-litre `quad cam' V8 employed five valves per cylinder, revved to 8,250rpm and developed 375bhp / 268lbft of torque. Faster yet more forgiving than its 348 predecessor, the F355 became an almost instant classic. Of the 4,915 Berlinettas made, just 496 were UK-supplied, RHD cars.Finished in Giallo Fly Yellow with Dark Blue leather upholstery, this particular example is described by the vendor as being in `very good' (bodywork, paintwork) or `excellent' (engine, six-speed manual gearbox, electrical equipment, interior trim) condition. Accompanied by an extensive main dealer and specialist service history contained within two folders (1996-2008 / 2009-2016), the F355 belonged to its last keeper for seven years. Treated to a new clutch and cambelt service during January 2016, `A8 OWW' is understood to have covered just 62,400 miles from new. An early power steering and airbag equipped model that pleasingly retains its original tool kit, handbooks and keys, this sought after F355 manual also boasts a MOT certificate valid until July 2017.
