A 1966 Singer Gazelle, registration number DSE 520D, dark blue with grey flash. The Mk VI Rootes Group Singer Gazelle was introduced in 1965 and would remain in production until 1967. They featured the larger 1,725cc engine and were the last of the models to incorporate Loewy Design Corporation styling influences. This original example is finished in dark blue with a grey flash, has a grey vinyl and tartan interior. The car has had recent expenditure on recommissioning works to obtain an MOT. The vendor says that the Singer is now running well and is offered for auction with a ***handbook (not history file)***. A 1971 Mini Cooper S Mk III, registration number XLV 106J, chassis number XAD1 308242A, engine number 12H397F 909, Glacier white. Direct from the executors of the Keith Nash estate deceased. The Mk III Cooper S was manufactured for a very short period between March 1970 and June 1971, with a relatively small number of 1,570 being made. This in effect makes it a limited edition run, and in the process making it one of the rarest Mini Cooper variants. The outward appearance of the Cooper S was virtually indistinguishable from a humble Mini 1000. This made the car a quintessential Q-car which did not go unnoticed. The Liverpool Constabulary ordered 27 Glacier white examples to add to their fleet and this is one of them, and was first registered to the Chief Constable of Liverpool and West Mercia Constabulary on the 11 September 1971. The Mini has come from a long term ownership and has formed part of a West Country collection for a number of years. The Cooper was used to attend many local classic car events. Due to the worsening health of Mr Nash, the Cooper had not been used for some time and kept in store so now will require some re-commissioning before going back into regular use. The Mini is offered for sale with DVLA history and some spares including various sets of wheels. V5C, no MOT See front cover and other illustrations Please note that there is a £60+VAT minimum premium on this lot
A 1986 Rover SDI Vitesse, registration number C354 PNV, chassis number SARRREW7CM342620, engine number 30A0003417, silver. With 40,000 miles from new, this rare twin Plenum Vitesse is presented in remarkable original condition. It has two registered keepers. It was originally registered to Castle Printing Company as Mr Keith Edward Castle's company car, who was the managing director at the time. It would subsequently pass into his personal ownership in 1991. The Rover would remain on the road until 2005 when the car went into storage. The Vitesse is finished in silver with a grey cloth interior. The vendor advises us that the car still runs well but will require recommissioning due to the time in storage. The accompanying history file contains ****most but not all MOTs from April 1989*** until the car was taken off the road, a purchase receipt for £11,000, maintenance receipts, SORNs and sundry paperwork. This original low mileage Vitesse will now appeal to collectors and enthusiasts alike who wish to experience the performance of an 1980s super saloon. A 1971 NG TF 1800, registration number OEU 284J, maroon. This beautifully presented modern interpretation of the MG TF is based on MG B 1800cc running gear. It has covered only 38,000 miles since construction with the last 3,000 being covered since 2001. The coachwork is finished in a most attractive metallic maroon with fawn double duck weather gear and side screens. The interior is trimmed in cream leather with contrasting maroon carpets, which complement the wooden dashboard and steering wheel, the chrome wire wheels and luggage rack. The running gear is taken care of by the good old B Series engine with twin carburettors which is mated to a four speed overdrive gearbox. The vendor advises us that the NG drives well and always gets positive comments when out and about. The NG is offered for auction with a large history file containing original sales brochure, maintenance receipts, previous MOTs and sundry paperwork. The vendor informs us that the car is now reluctantly for sale due to him finding the car increasingly difficult to enter and exit since a recent hip replacement. V5C, MOT to July 2016 See back cover and other illustrations Please note that there is a £60+VAT minimum premium on this lot
A 1986 Watson Mini B16, registration number C397 VSF, Raptor red. This Mini is something a little different and is certainly a wolf in sheep's clothing. It was converted by Watson Specialist Rally Cars in 2009 with over £8,700 being spent in parts alone. It features a Honda 1.6 V-TEC engine and gearbox, uprated ECU and sub frame, limited slip differential, extended fibreglass body and bodykit, carbon fibre bumpers, race specification brakes all round, digital dash for recording quarter mile and 0-60 mph times. With 160 bhp on tap and a super car intimidating 0-60 mph of under six seconds, this Mini certainly packs a punch. A 1991 Subaru SVX, registration number J200 SVX, red. This rare import was manufactured in 1991 and registered in 2003 in the UK. It featured the 3.3 litre Boxer flat six engine which produced 231 bhp and a top speed of 154 mph when new. From the first year of production it has the very distinctive and appropriate registration number J200 SVX and is offered for auction with an accompanying history file. A circa 1955 Mercedes-Benz (W120) 180D Ponton four door saloon restoration project, unregistered, Old English white. This rare right hand drive Mercedes is in need of full restoration. The body has corrosion damage to the outer panels but the floors and general structure seem sound. The blue leather interior appears complete and should respond well to cleaning and feeding. The wood dashboard is intact with all gauges and switch gear present. The Mercedes is a non runner but the engine is not seized, it selects gears on the column change and it rolled freely when pushed into position for the catalogue photographs. A worthwhile project of an increasingly rare model which is now ripe for restoration. No accompanying paperwork See illustration Please note that there is a £60+VAT minimum premium on this lot
