A 1938 Velocette 348cc KSS MkII, registration number RSK779, frame number MS5369 (manufactured 1938), engine number KSS 7300 (manufactured 1936), with V5C, Velocette Owners Club Vehicle Inspection Form, and document folder (know to have been running in the past, but untested for several years)NOTE: Introduced for the 1936 season, the MkII KSS represented a major re-design of Velocette's top-of-the-range overhead-camshaft roadster. The MkII featured many improvements including a new aluminium-alloy cylinder head with enclosed valve gear (which replaced the old cast-iron head with exposed springs) together with the cradle frame and heavyweight Webb forks of the new MSS.
