1982 Ford Escort 1.1 L 1100 cc 5 door hatchback 0nly 2017 miles Only 2017, yes 2017 miles, in totally original specification and time warp condition Registration: NNL 36X Chassis: SFAAXXBBAACY80833 Odometer: 2017 Transmission: Manual MOT: Exempt No Reserve . One owner from new until 2012 . Original Ford rubber mats front and rear . Ford main Dealer number plates front and rear . Original Ford radio Outside We believe the paintwork to be original and on the whole is very good, that said there are a number of what could be best described as "scabs" of surface corrosion all over the car. These have been treated to prevent spread or any penetrative corrosion and we feel it adds to the story of the car. All panels are straight and dent free and all four doors open and close as if the vehicle was factory fresh. The hub cap from the off side rear wheel is with the car but will not stay in place. Inside We urge any serious bidder to come and view the car and take in the smell of 1982 Ford's when you stick your head in, it takes you right back. Wonderfully basic, no wear at all and everything is in factory fresh condition. Mechanicals Upon removing from long term storage, the engine and mechanicals were treated to a refresh which included new auxiliary belts and fluids. The car runs and drives as expected for a car with such low mileage, although there is some squealing coming from the auxiliary belts we suspect the water pump may need some looking at. It looks as though car was treated to a corrosion protection product to the underside, engine bay and door bottoms when new. History We are advised that the car was supplied new by Ford main dealers Heaton Motor company of Consett, County Durham to a Midwife who lived locally. The car was used briefly until her unfortunate death when it was laid up by the family until 2012 when DVLA records show it went into fresh ownership. Sadly, there is very little other documentation with the car. Our Opinion This is a unique opportunity to acquire what is quite possibly the lowest mileage MK3 Escort in existence. Inspection of the car clearly shows its minimal mileage is correct, it is on the button, will carry a fresh MOT and is ready to go. Lovely to see a surviving example of the 1.1 L variant , as most of the lesser Escort models were run into the ground and not preserved. A genuine time warp car and we love it. Find another. Please note there is no V5c currently with the Escort though we are able to give an undertaking that we will assist the new owner with obtaining one as a condition of the sale.
1991 Range Rover CSK 3.9 litre V8 3 door SUV No Reserve Estimate £25,000 to £35,000 Registration: H105 JKV Chassis: SALLHABM3GA463498 Colour: Black Fuel Type: Petrol Engine Size: 3900cc Transmission: Auto -- One of 200 ever manufactured -- Unfortunately on the insurance list as damage repairable Outside As can be seen from the photgraphs this is a restoration project where the majority of the hard work has been completed. It has benefitted from all new panels including inner wings front and rear, slam panels, sills etc etc. These are the hidden areas that most Range Rover Classics suffer from but hide well. The sale includes the original aluminium body panels which are all in good order and a replacement bonnet, both stainless steel front bumpers are present with the front one being a NOS item. We understand from the vendor that all the parts are with car to complete the restoration, but invite all bidders to inspect the car and its parts in order to satisfy themselves this is the case. Inside The original tan leather interior is with the project and looks to be in very good order, and there is a receipt on file for a new headlining. Like with the outside we understand that everything to complete the project is with the car but invite any bidder to inspect the parts to satisfy themselves this is the case. Mechanicals The engine was stripped and rebuilt in 2016 with new pistons, a re-bore, heads skimmed, valves re-seated, polished crank, performance cam fitted, timing chain etc etc with a supporting invoice on file. The ZF type 699 automatic transmission was rebuilt by Ashcroft Transmissions in 2011. Both the engine and transmission have been refitted tot he car but haven't been run. In addition both front and rear axles have been rebuilt as have the braking systems, and there is a very rare replacement ABS pump unit included in the sale. As with the other parts of this restoration project, we understand that all parts are with the car to finish to rebuild but would encourage serious bidders to inspect the car and its parts to satisfy themselves of this.

Fitted with a new PTU less than 1000 miles ago this is probably the best 2 plus 2 money can buy and ready to be enjoyed either locally or on that quick trip to Nice.
1993 Sylva Striker 2 door kit car Registration: Q353 HVF Odometer: Colour: Green Fuel Type: Petrol Engine Size: 1600cc Transmission: Manual MOT: Expired -- Barn find condition ready to be tinkered with and enjoyed -- Ford X-Flow breathing through twin 40's makes a glorious sound -- Rare wire wheels with spinners Outside - The vendor rescued this 90's kit car from a barn last year where he reports it had lots of "stuff" piled on top of it - The windscreen and surround has been damaged whilst in the barn which was repaired and a new windscreen fitted by the vendor - The body work is generally good with a few imperfections in the paint which could be addressed as the buyer feels necessary - Painted steel wire wheels are in good condition, tyres are obviously quite old - Roll over bar could do with a lick of paint as has some surface rust - Comes with side screens and a hood which has a couple of mouse holes - Tonneau cover looks in good order Inside - Everything where it should be and perfectly functional - To be used as is or improved where seen fit by the winning bidder Mechanical - The vendor informs us he changed the fluids, filters and spark plugs when recommissioning the car - Starts well and the induction noise sounds wonderful through the twin 40's - We've driven the car around our site and its very spritely, picks up well and stops as it should History - We have no history with the car, and only know it was pulled from a barn last year a partly recommissioned by the vendor - There is no V5 with the car so this will have to be applied for by the winning bidder Our Opinion A great fun little kit car which with a little more work would soon get through an MOT and provide hours of fun motoring for a small outlay.

1997 Mercedes E220 2.2 litre 2 door cabriolet Registration: P460VGN Chassis: WDB1240622C292059 Odometer: 99,638 Transmission: 4 Speed Auto Petrol MOT: Oct 2023 Guide £7,000 - £8,000 . Original purchase invoice . 2 previous keepers . MOT's dating back to 2000 . Comprehensive history file with invoices dating back to September 1999 being its first service at Mercedes Woking . First owner for 6 years and the second for18 years . Original Mercedes Benz Woking dealer plates Outside The car presents very well in the lovely Azurite Blue with straight dent free bodywork and paintwork with very few imperfections, but the few there are include; near side wing mirror has a small scratch, off side wing mirror has an even smaller scratch, near side front indicator lens has some marks on the inside, very few small stone chips under the headlights, rear quarter has small amount of rust bubbling around 20 mm in length just in front of the rear wheel. The chrome works looks immaculate, as do all 4 alloy wheels with matching Michelin tyres. The hood is free from any rips or tears and hasn't faded like some do. I would say this car has spent most of its days garaged, although can't confirm. Pleasingly has its original dealer number plates from the supplying dealer Mercedes Benz Woking. Please view our walk around video to see the condition in more detail. Inside The mushroom leather electric front seats present extremely well, with the drivers side looking like its benefitted from a refresh and treatment recently, with no wear to the bolster or base showing. Carpets and matts look in good dry condition as do the rear seats and door cards. The steering wheel is a half wood half leather affair which was a £500 optional extra when new, but unfortunately the wood effect is showing some signs of cracking and the leather is quite worn. The leather on the centre console behind the gear selector is coming away and will need re-gluing at some point. The headlining has some wear marks in the rear from where the hood has been folded away. Mechanicals The 2.2 litre 4 cylinder petrol engine fire instantly and the car drives as sweet as a nut, with no undue knocks or bangs coming from the suspension components with the automatic gearbox shifting effortlessly through all gears as it wafts along quietly. Under the bonnet is very clean and free from any signs of corrosion, with the brakes working effectively and pulling up in a straight line. The electric hood works seamlessly for when those all too frequent Ribble Valley showers may catch us out. History There is a great history file with the car which shows its first owner keeping the car for 6 years until passing it on to the 2nd Kentish owner who was a custodian from September 2003 through to July 2021. The service book has many stamps with the last being stamped by Kam Servicing in March of last year. In amongst the many service and parts bills I came across the original purchase invoice which shows the original owner paid a whisker over £46,000 for the car back in March 1997. A photograph of this invoice is included in the photographs and shows the many optional extras. Our Opinion Presented in a condition that looks like its done half of the recorded mileage, this is a genuine every day useable classic which has clearly been cherished and looked after properly all its life. Ready for summer this car wants for nothing and is ready to waft you around in 90's luxury and comfort at a very affordable ownership price point.
1975 Triumph Stag 2997cc V8 2 door convertible Guide; £7,000 to £8,000 Registration: JSD 204N Chassis: LD349770 Odometer: Colour: Green Fuel Type: Petrol Engine Size: 2997cc Transmission: Manual with overdrive MOT: Exempt - Vendor has owned the car since 1997 - Engine rebuild less than200 miles ago - Triumph engine Outside . Subject to an older restoration, re-painted in a metallic green during restoration . On the whole presents well although most panels have some bubbling and micro blistering as detailed in our video . Some adhesive seems to have dried up on the a pillar which should cut out . Off side door has a chip where it looks like another door has been opened on it, also a few touched up stone chips along its opening edge . There is a scratch behind the fuel filler cap thats been touched up around 50mm long . Front edge of bonnet has some chips that have also been touched up . Fitted with stainless steel bumpers front and rear . The hood looks like it has been replaced at some point and has a small tear approx 40 mm long behind the passenger door glass and the stitching is frayed behind the drivers door glass . Alloy wheels are in good condition all round with matching budget tyres showing a good amount of tread Inside . Black vinyl seats are in average condition with some wear present on the driver seat bolster . Door cards are in good order as are the rear seats, green carpets and over mats . Modern JVC CD player with Pioneers speakers . Veneer looks like it would benefit from a refurb at some point in the future Mechanicals . The 3 litre Triumph V8 engine starts and runs well . Manual gearbox pulls well through all gears and stops as it should . Vendor drove the car here some 15 miles and reported no issues . The vendor informs us the engine was subject to a rebuild around 200 miles ago, although this cannot be verified . Under the bonnet looks tidy with no signs of any serious rust or rot . Also included are a Triumph Stag V8 engine (dismantled), rear differential, hard top and 5 wheels with tyres History . V5C shows 5 former keepers . Old MOT's dating back to 1998 . Only a few parts invoices with the file . Same ownership for 25 years, only selling due to advancing years Our Opinion A a nice genuine Stag which although not perfect is a good usable and it wouldn't take much to bring back to excellent condition.

2007 Jaguar XJ Series 2.7 TDVI Sovereign 4 door saloon No Reserve Estimate £1500 to £3000 Registration: PL07WBN Odometer: 139,098 Colour: Blue Fuel Type: Diesel Engine Size: 2720 cc Transmission: Automatic MOT: 17th July 2023 Outside -- Aluminium bodywork finished in metallic blue presents reasonably well -- Small dent in boot lid -- Few parking rashes on the rear bumper -- Damage to near side front bumper corner -- Paintwork would benefit from a professional machine cut and polish to bring back its shine -- Windscreen has a small chip just outside the wiper sweep area -- All 4 wheels look straight with a few scuffs present and would benefit from a refurb and refinish -- Tyres have good amount of tread remaining Inside -- Beige leather interior suits this type of car -- Minimal wear on the drivers seat bolster -- Carpets, over mats and headlining all in good order as are the door cards -- Sat nav system and Alpine factory stereo speakers -- 1/2 wood steering wheel starting to show its age -- Electric heated memory seats Mechanicals -- 2.7 v6 diesel engine starts a runs well -- When the car has been left for a day the air suspension settles so must have a very slow leak, the ride height recovers on start up -- Everything looks in order under the bonnet -- Only 1 key History -- Other than the V5C we have no service history with the car -- V5C shows 5 former keepers Our Opinion This has to be the definition of "lot of car for the money" cliché that we probably use a little too often. Our well spec'd Sovereign model is the last of the traditional shape Jaguars powered by the modern V6 diesel engine with a few months MOT remaining it would make a perfect budget mile muncher.
1991 Volkswagen Scirocco GTII 1800cc 3 door coupe Original interior in superb condition Registration: J393 EUS Chassis: WVWZZZ53ZMK006466 Odometer: 85,000 Transmission: Manual MOT: Will have 12 months MOT before the auction end No Reserve • Recent distributor cap, new leads and service • Fabulous untouched tartan interior • Cambelt, water pump and thermostat carried out c.8,000 miles ago • 6 stamps in service book • Complete with original book pack • Period correct steel wheels • Ian Skelly group dealer plates • New exhaust fitted in 2022 Outside Overall the white paintwork presents very well with the following imperfections. The painted front bumper has scuffs on both corners, there is a small scab of surface rust that has been treated smaller than a 5 pence piece at the front of the nearside wing. There are 2 areas where it looks like the paint has been rubbed through by an over ambitious mop polish operator, these are at the top of the o/s wing around 3 inches long and on the rear quarter a similar length. The matt black tape that sits between the door tops and the b pillar have small scratches where it looks like they have been caught by keys. Nearside rear corner of the roof skin has a dent around the size of a 50 pence piece. All 4 steel wheels look in good order and having recently been refurbished and shod with new matching tyres all around. Inside The tartan cloth interior is in excellent condition with no rips or tears present on either front seats or the rear. The headlining is good and taught and the black carpets are also in excellent condition, in fact I'm struggling to find fault. It has a period Panasonic pull out stereo and importantly a complete parcel shelf with no holes where a 90's owner may have tried to fit 6" by 9"s. Mechanicals The 1800cc carbureted engine starts well a runs cleanly, pulls well in all gears and stops as it should. Having had a recent cam belt change, distributor cap, plug leads and service its ready to use. It also has had a recent exhaust replacement. History The car comes with its original book pack, and 6 service history stamps In addition to having a recent service the cam belt, water pump and thermostat was replacement around 8000 miles ago. Our Opinion We've all grown very fond of our Scirocco here at Gateway as its been sat in a corner waiting for disposal since last year. We think the colour really suits the boxy lines of the car and the overall condition although not immaculate is very good. A good value alternative to the Golf GTI's with the added bonus of being nice and simple to work on for the home mechanics of us. An interesting entry to the VW scene that will cost less than it should.
