A very fine 19th Century 18 carat yellow gold cased gentleman's open faced Pocket Watch, the chapter ring signed Barwise, London with Roman numerals, textured centre and subsidiary seconds hand, the fine gilded movement also signed and individually numbered No. 9979, the reverse of the watch engine turned around a highly unusual central glazed aperture containing three curled locks (two blond and one auburn) of hair, 4.5cm diameter (with key)
A Victorian hallmarked silver circular sovereign case with overall engine turned decoration, centred with a vacant circular cartouche within a belt shaped border to the hinged lid, Alfred Wigley, Birmingham 1898, diameter 3.5cm, approx 1ozt. CONDITION REPORT: One internal component has date letter for 1900. Some pitting and very minor dents throughout. But generally good. Postage within UK would be £12 + VAT.
A pair of cased George V hallmarked silver mounted brushes, engraved "JS 11.10.29.", and a comb, Beddoes & Co, Birmingham 1926, also a cased four piece hallmarked silver mounted dressing table set with engine turned decoration, Birmingham 1961 and two hallmarked silver covered clear glass dressing table jars including example by Levi & Salaman, Birmingham 1900 (9).
A c.1920 Continental silver evening mesh compact purse, the overall engine turned decorated lid centred with a cartouche engraved with initials "EN", enclosing two sectioned compact with powder compartment with sapphire cabochon, with swap clasp top, stamped "935", also bears an indistinct hallmark, height 17cm, approx 3.3ozt. CONDITION REPORT: The tassels of the lace-shaped decoration to the bottom of the purse are broken in three places - both external (one is missing, other is detached from the purse, but still linked with rest of the tassels); one in the centre section is partially detached. Also there is a very minor spot of few links that became a bit loose. Otherwise appears to be in good condition.
