A George V Gold Vesta-Case, by William Neale & Son Ltd., Birmingham, 1921, 9ct, oblong and slightly curved, engine turned and with vacant cartouche, with suspension ring, the base with striker, 5cm high, 1oz, 31gr. Fully marked on bezel and part marked inside cover. The marks are generally clear. There is some surface scratching overall, consistent with age and use.

Toghill and Co., Birmingham, 1945, 9ct, oblong, overall with engine-turned decoration, the hinged cover engraved with initials, 10.5cm high, 4oz 9dwt, 138.8gr. Fully marked inside cover and stamped 'Made in England'. Further part marked inside of base. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some minor dings and bruises.

A Yellow Metal Cigarette-Case, Apparently Unmarked, Probably First Half 20th Century, oblong, the hinged cover and base each with engine-turned decoration, 7.5cm high, 4oz 8dwt, 137gr. Apparently unmarked. In our opinion this would test as gold. There is some overall surface scratches and wear, consistent with age and use.

A George V Silver Cigarette-Box, by Charles S. Green and Co. Ltd., Birmingham, Probably 1934, oblong and on four stepped feet, the hinged slightly domed cover engine-turned and engraved with initials, the front engraved later with an inscription, the interior wood lined, 24.5cm wide . Fully marked on side and part marked on side of cover. There is some wear to the marks. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There are some small dings. The inscription reads 'Presented to Henry Sharp Works Manager and Director of The Leyland and Birmingham Rubber Co. Ltd. on his Retirement after 58 Years Service as a Token of Esteem and Respect from the Executives, Foremen and Charge Hands September 1940'.

A George VI Silver Cigarette-Box, by Mappin and Webb, Birmingham, 1947, oblong and on four stepped feet, the sides and hinged cover each with engine-turning, the cover further engraved with facsimile signatures, wood lined, 18.8cm wide . Fully marked on side and part marked inside cover. There is a very small amount of wear to the marks, though they are generally clear. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use.

An Elizabeth II Silver Cigarette-Box, by Henry Clifford Davis, Birmingham, 1960, oblong and on four stepped feet, the hinged cover engine-turned, the interior wood lined, 17.5cm wide. Fully marked on side and further part marked inside cover. Stamped underneath 'Made in England'. There is some very minor wear to the marks though they are still legible. There is some surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use as well as some small dings.

An 18 Carat Gold Full Hunter Duplex Pocket Watch, signed Ashdown, Finch Lane London, 1850, duplex movement signed, split bimetallic balance with gold timing screws, enamel dial with Roman numerals, seconds dial, case with engine turned covers, case maker's mark JWS, London hallmark for 1850, 45mm wide see illustration 04.08.21 Engine turning to the covers is rubbed, case with surface scratches and minor dents in parts, dial indistictly signed, movement in going order, total watch weight 83.5g.

An 18 Carat Gold Open Faced Pocket Watch, signed Barber & North, York, 1836, chain fusee lever movement signed and numbered 13169, diamond endstone, dust cover, gold coloured dial with Roman numerals, case back with central engraved initials, inside case back with maker's mark JD, London hallmark for 1836, 45mm wide see illustration 04.08.21 Engine turning to the case sides is rubbed, back cover with engraved initials to the centre, dial is slightly discoloured in parts and with small scratches, end of the minute hand is broken and missing, movement is fully wound, balance swings for a few seconds and then stops, movement needs cleaning. total watch weight 86g.

A 14 Carat Gold Full Hunter Pocket Watch, circa 1910, lever movement signed Mobile Watch Co, split bimetallic balance with a blued overcoil hairspring, enamel dial with Arabic numerals, seconds dial, engine turned decorated covers with a vacant cartouche, case stamped inside 0.585 and numbered 404044, 53mm wide see illustration 04.08.21 Case with surface scratches, case with minor dents in parts, engine turning to the covers is rubbed in parts, dial with two hairline cracks positioned above 12 and dial edge between 6 and 7 o'clock, these hairline cracks are not visible when the bezel is in place, winding smoothly and movement in going order, total watch weight 96.6g.
