An Austrian Art Deco lady's silver cigarette case retailed by Franz Hiess & Sohne, Vienna, circa 1920, the tortoiseshell cover with two marcasite-set leafy straps, engine-turned sides and base, the sides with undulating bands of engine-turning, the base with alternate plain and reeded bands, gilt interior, in original fitted case lined in blue velvet and cream silk, 8 cm. long.In excellent condition including the fitted case.
