1953 Ford Anglia.A very late registered example, this charming little Anglia appears largely original and unmolested. In our opinion, restoration would ruin it. We are informed that the car runs and drives but can be a little difficult and temperamental the 6 volt battery is flat and its currently lost its spark so wont start at present, but the engine is good and runs well. Comes complete with V5c, buff log book, various handbooks, MOT’s and tax discs, this vehicle also has a transferable Reg Number. Most interestingly, for us anyway, is a window entry sticker from a car auction in the name of HJ Pugh & Company. Reg Number: RKO 518
2006 Range Rover Supercharged V8. This Generation 2 L322 V8 Supercharged was collected by ourselves and driven over 70 miles back to our secure storage facility by Marcus, a serial Range Rover driver himself, who tells me that the car drove without fault with all electrical gadgets working and no warning lights flashing! Not a vehicle we would normally class as a classic, it is however a real wolf in sheep’s clothing. Visually similar to lesser models, these supercharged variants are powered by what is basically a Jaguar’s XKR engine and is capable of speeds in excess of 140mph (where permitted). Very high specification including full black leather piped cream complimented by piano wood cappings, Harmon Kardon stereo system and DVD players built into the headrests. Unmodified and, apparently, in excellent order throughout. Even the dash mounted torch is in place. Details of service history to follow.
1951 Ford F100 Pickup. UK registered in 2021, this 1951 F100 is fitted with a period correct flathead V8 engine and manual gearbox. Extremely evocative, this entry is the perfect basis for a resto rod or rat-look machine. Not running, missing radiator, the engine appears complete bar minor ancillaries although we are informed that the propshaft and some glass is not present. Complete with V5c, copies of State of Oklahoma title along with NOVA confirmation paperwork.Reg Number: NXS 851
1980 BMW E12 M535i, this car has undergone a full professional restoration early in 2022 it has cover approximately 148,000 miles over its life but has spent the past 10 years doing very little. We have extensive photos of the restoration work undertaken with a pack of information detailing the works completed. The M535i was the first M badged sports saloon and was the first true M road car, the E12 paved the way for now infamous M badge. The power unit was the rare 3.5 litre M90 straight 6 engine, the same engine used in the legendary M1 but with a 12 valve single overhead cam head instead of the 24v twin cam head, it had a shorter stroke and bigger bore which made it noticeably more rev happy than the 3.5 litre M30 engine that most people assume is under the bonnet.
1982 Ferrari 400i Auto.First registered in 1983, this Azurro Blue 400i automatic is offered in need of straightforward restoration. Offering good compressions, the car is not running at present, believed to be a fuel issue, we are assured that the car was parked, albeit some time ago, under its own steam. Rust is evident in various area, including the wheelarches, but appears containable. Massive history file of invoices, coming to far in excess of our bottom guide. V5c. Surely the cheapest way of acquiring a front engine V12 FerrariReg Number: UAB 896Y
2005 Bentley Continental GT. Originally registered in Edinburgh in January 2005, this Continental has covered approximately 68,000 miles with 12 stamps of service history. Interestingly, the service book indicates that 60 options were applied to this example when new. Hugely fast with “ample” power from it’s W16 engine. Amazing value for money. Reg Number: TIG 7127
1984 Ford Capri 2.8 InjectionHere is a fine example of the iconic Ford Capri, a very desirable later 2.8 injection. The Capri is an iconic car of the 70’s and 80’s featuring in the hit series The Professionals and Minder. This MKIII is presented in Diamond White paint which is in great shape with the injection stripes down the side. B880 VOD was a fast car in its day and is still in good condition, both inside and out. The 160HP Cologne V6 engine runs and drives as it should, ready to be enjoyed by the next owner. MOT until September 2023. A rare chance to buy the car you always promised yourself.
Here is a Morris Minor restoration project car, body work will require some work has corroded in the usual places, under the wings, doors and sills. The interior is dismantled ready for reassembly. Still fitted with the original 1098cc A-Series engine and gearbox. Would make a lovely everyday classic or an ideal basis for a historic race car. Now tax and MOT exempt.
Golf MK2 convertible with the clipper kit. Has the 1.8L GTI engine which is known to be quick and reliable. A true barn find its last MOT was 2013 having been stored since then. The Body and paint work is in very good condition having been dry stored. Shouldn’t take much to get running again. A very sought-after car.
The Beetle is a classic design icon and 1303LS was top of the range in its day.Finished in Yukon Yellow this superb beetle has excellent character that benefits from late model improvements. The paint, chrome and body work is in good condition, with an excellent black interior treated to new seat covers. It sits on new wheels and tyres with only a couple of hundred miles on them. This Beetle cabriolet has been extremely well looked after, including a full engine to 1641cc costing £3k, a new hood, new brake discs and calipers. The car has also had two new strengthening channels fitted, as well as the flat 4 stone guards and a bonnet protector.Being original RHD this is a desirable car with models increasingly exceeding £20K. This car would require a little fettling for it to reach a high standard, with the rear window needing fitting and carbs setting up.An ideal usable investment, this rare car is very desirable with collectors.
