The hour strike will need some attention, it is going through the sequence on the hour with the rack moving to the correct hour but the hammer isn't moving. Extra images have been uploaded. The vacant hole to the side of the case is for a repeat cord which is present inside the case and does work correctly. The dial is original, hands have possibly been replaced. No key.

The backplate numbered "3553" and the case back having a signed hinged shuttered door.18cm high handle up.The case is in good condition still retaining most of the original gilding, the back door shutter works correctly but has lost its gilt finish. One of the glass side panels has a crack running through and chips to the edge. The porcelain dials are in good undamaged condition. the movement only runs for a few seconds and the grand sonnerie lever is missing its connection and seems to be fixed on silent. It will require attention. The clock has come from a deceased estate.

The dial looks to be enamel but has been restored. There is also a small split to the front door just above the brass bezel. The movement which is original to the case and the dial is in working condition and striking the correct hours, one of the fixing brackets has been replaced. The minute hand has been replaced also.
