A Large 4in Carl Zeiss Jena Telescope, German, c.1920, engraved 'CARL ZEISS JENA Nr.9125' the telescope tube with side mounting luggsm adjustable counter weight, long lens hood, rack and pinion focusing, eyepiece prism mount signed 'CARL ZEISS JENA Nr. 6479' and triple objective mount engraved 'CARL ZEISS JENA Nr.6740' with large steel and iron tripot with geared adjustment, telescope with original pine case with retail lable to inside of lid, with lens caps, telescope finished in original white and black enamel, telescope length 126cm, case length 133cm IMPORTANT: this telescope has no eyepiece lenses and the objective lens is also missing, this prism housing is still complete, mechanically the condition is good as is the cosmetic condition. Provenance: the telescope was inherited by the vendor from his great uncle Count Dario Mario Vincenzini, who moved to Kenya in the early 1930’s where he became a farmer in the highlands. It is believed the telescope was purchased in Rome in the 1920’s as per the plaque inside the box and has been in storage for the last 50 years.

Victorian Hampshire Militia Officers Quilted Shako 1869-78, fine example of a blue cloth bodied shako with white metal and enamel Hampshire Militia officers shako plate to the centre. Silver plated side chinstrap rosettes with silvered plume socket holder and black wool ball tuft. Silver brocade wire braid to the body of the shako. Velvet backed linked white metal chin scales. Interior with tan leather sweatband and crimson cloth lining. Gilt tooled tailors details to the lining. Generally a good example of a scarce shako.Late Rod Flood collection
Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Dagger by Tiger Solingen, good example with two piece chequered grips having enamel HJ diamond emblem to the centre. Plated pommel and cross guard. Housed in its original scabbard with leather belt loop and securing strap. 1st pattern blade with motto ‘Blut und Ehre!’ and reverse with Tiger Solingen makers trade mark. Leather washer between blade and cross guard still present. Some light wear to the blade. The blade measures 13 ½ cms, overall 25 ½ cms.
Rare Third Reich Hitler Youth 1937 Reichskampf Munchen Participation Badge, fine gilded tomback badge produced by F Hoffstatter Bohn. Badge depicts the Feldherrnhalle building with eagle holding enamel HJ diamond within cogwheel above, date 1937 and REICHS KAMPF MUNCHEN “HAUPTSTADT DER BEWEGUNG”. Pin fitting to the reverse of the award. Generally good condition.

Rare Hampshire Militia Officers Shako Plate Circa 1855, good example of a blackened rayed star shako plate with Victorian crown to the top. Gilt metal garter strap with enamel Hampshire rose to the centre and lower gilt scroll ‘HAMPSHIRE’. Reverse with two loop fittings. Small repair to one of the lower arms of the star back plate but otherwise a very good example of a scarce helmet plate. Ex The Late Rod Flood Collection.
Third Reich 25 Year Faithful Service Decoration with Original Citation, the award with silver frosted finish with black enamel centre. Complete with the ribbon. Housed in the red card box with the lid having 25 in silver leaf to the centre of the lid. Interior of the lid with ‘R SOUVAL WIEN’ makers label. Complete with the formal citation issued to Oswald Henne dated 9. Mai 1939. Small damage to the lower section near the facsimile signature.

Housed in blackened scabbard with leather belt loop fitting but no securing strap. 1st pattern blade with the remains of the motto ‘Blut und Ehre!’ just visible. The reverse of the blade has makers mark for Herm Konejung A-G. Solingen Ges Geschutz. The blade shows wear and evidence of sharpening. Exterior also shows some wear. Blade 13 ¼ cms, overall 25 ½ cms.

Housed in its original blue leatherette case of issue with Franz Scheurle makers details to the interior of the lid. Some wear to the exterior of the case but generally a good example.

Complete with its original ribbon and housed in the black leatherette case of issue. Superb example and hard to find with the original case.
Third Reich Social Welfare Decoration 3rd Class in Original Case of Issue, very good example of the gilt and enamel social welfare / red cross decoration 3rd class which retains the original ribbon. Perfect undamaged enamel to the obverse of the award. Housed in its original red leatherette case of issue with the interior lid having the tab for the ribbon and gilt leaf details of the award.

Reverse engraved ‘FIRMIN & SONS Manufacturers 153 Strand LONDON’. Double edged tapered blade with medial ridge. The blade 25 ¼ cms, overall 38cms. Tarnishing and wear to the exterior.

Third Reich Hitler Youth Transitional Dagger by Carl Eickhorn Solingen, two piece chequered grips with fixed enamel HJ diamond insignia to the centre of the grip. Some plating lifting to the pommel and cross guard. Housed in its original scabbard but the metalwork has been repainted blue grey. Leather belt loop with securing strap. Plain blade with the reverse having Carl Eickhorn makers mark and RZM M7/66 mark. Blade 12 ½ cms, overall 25cms.
Superb Luftwaffe Award and Document Archive of Unteroffizier Karl Stutz of Kampfgeschwader 30, the grouping consists of the original Axis forces Bulgarian pilots badge with perfect undamaged enamel to the obverse, the reverse with screw back post, dish plate and circular fixing plate stamped with makers details. Accompanying the award is the original Bulgarian Air Force award document booklet which awards the badge to Stutz and is dated 1941. Other documents in the grouping include his original award citation for the Iron Cross 2nd class, Reispass with civilian photograph to the inside, 1940 dated citation for the pilots badge awarded to him when the rank of Gefreiten. The grouping has three folders of documents, letters, maps and technical notes all relating to Karl Stutz, would make for interesting reading and translation.

Around the badge ‘REICHSKAMPF HAMBURG’ and date 1938 to the centre. Hamburg town gates with ship coming through the centre. Reverse with pin and catch fixing. Generally good condition.

Third Reich Sturmabteilung (S.A) Dress Dagger by Malsch & Ambronn Steinbach, example with brown wooden grip having nickel silver eagle inserted and enamel SA device emblem. Polished nickel silver mounts with the lower guard being stamped with district mark ‘Sa’. Housed in its original but later RZM style scabbard. Blade with motto ‘Alles fur Deutschland’ and makers trade mark to the base. The blade has been polished but motto and makers trade mark still present and clear. Blade 21 ½ cms, overall 37 ½ cms.
Third Reich Mothers Cross in Silver with Paper Packet of Issue, good example with original ribbon and un-damaged enamel. Blue paper packet without makers details. Accompanied by miniature version of the award; bronze grade Mothers Cross with some enamel damage to the lower arm; fine quality miniature mothers cross award with ribbon bow, reverse with engraved date and Hitler signature with makers mark ‘L/57’.
