Two previous owners, over a forty year period, were qualified engineers and the owner carrying out the meticulous restoration in the 70’s, logged over 2000 hours of work on this car. The reconditioned engine fitted then, has since only done 20,140 miles. All work undertaken has been fully documented. The car comes with a very large history file including correspondence with many manufacturers at the time and copies of the official works handbook. All bright work has been rechromed, the interior professionally reupholstered, dashboard instruments overhauled by John Marks, completely rewired, running board timbers renewed with oak and the radiator, steering and rear axle differential renovated. Professional work on the body frame used teak and the bodywork has been topped off with a detailed application of fifteen coats of coach enamel.
