C H Powell, Watford School of Art, an Arts and Crafts wall mirror inset with enamel plaques, an arch top plaque depicting three sirens on a sea shore, plaques with galleons, and fish, hammered copper frame with trident and dolphins, signed, 78 x 49 cmProvenance, Former property of Emily Jarred 1904-1995 who became Sister Benedict of the Holy order of Our Lady of Walsingham, it is not known how she obtained the mirror and corresponding plaques but she was the last living member of her order spending her last years in Dereham Norfolk, where she created a bronze sculpture of St Withinberg.
