A 19th century French gilt metal eight day skeleton mantel clock, the circular enamel dial set with Roman numerals (af), with movement by Japy Frere also stamped 'Pert Bally', number 157, on two foliate scroll supports and with similarly decorated pendulum, height 37.5cm excluding attached oval plinth base, with key. CONDITION REPORT: Damage to the enamel between numerals three and seven, also some crazing in area of numeral eleven.

A late 19th century repeating brass carriage clock with swing loop handle, rectangular white enamelled dial set with Roman numerals inscribed 'Cook & Kelvey, Calcutta' with movement numbered 9474 and bearing presentation inscription 'Presented to Mr CE Jameson...1888', height 14cm and an early 20th century brass carriage clock with white enamel dial set with Roman numerals, height 12cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: The larger carriage clock has cracks to the dial top left hand corner, also surface scratches and some discolouration also a thin slither chip to the front panel lower left, the side panels have small chips around the outside, the rear door has a chip to the glass and is slightly loose in its fitting, heavily tarnished case, the smaller carriage clock has two large chips to the white enamel dial top left and top right corner also staining to the dial, chips to the glass throughout and tarnishing to the metal work.
A quantity of button hooks with guilloche enamel handles, mostly set in hallmarked silver in various shapes, colours and sizes, including a silver gilt example, a set of button hook and shoe horn examples by Asprey, a yellow set, a blue and silver striped example, and three miniature enamelled pen knife button hooks with suspension rings, some hallmarks rubbed (20). CONDITION REPORT: The Asprey blue enamel have two holes where initials would be mounted. Small losses to the small lilac/cream example, the miniature green piece has some damage, and there is a tiny chip to the yellow example. General surface wear and scratches throughout.

CONDITION REPORT: Surface wear commensurate with age including chip to lower section above drop and further nibbles to corners, upper right section of pediment detached but present with lot.

CONDITION REPORT: Light surface scratches and tiny dent to the case, the case closes firmly, the dial is in good condition and each link of the chain is hallmarked. Overall light surface wear.

A Japanese cloisonne cigarette box, decorated an exotic bird and foliage, on brass bracket feet, the underside decorated with scrolling vines and flowerheads, height 5.5cm, width 12cm. Condition report: Slight warp one side plus very tiny nick. Slight damage to lid and pitting to enamel generally fair condition. Hinge works but slightly distorted also lid distorted. One end has some slight damage.
Namiki maki-e cigarette case, a Japanese late Meiji elongated rectangular metal and lacquered case decorated in coloured togidashi with a fan tailed gold fish on a roiro ground above simulated water in nashiji with kirikane and three sprays of fern like reeds in hiramakiye, signed on bottom left hand corner Kokkousha, Kouho (Iida Kouho) with kakihan, 18 x 8.7cm. Condition report: Some very fine scratches to enamel on front, more scratching to back. Very fine pitting to gilt inside case. Some loss of silver to inside rim of case.
