Marti et Cie, Medaille d'Argent, 1889, and numbered 2259, the round white enamel dial having black Arabic hour numerals with coloured swags set between and decorative blued steel hands, the bezel set with cut paste brilliants, the gilded pendulum bob with matching brilliants, the oval brass four-glass case having bands of coloured champlevé enamel set to the base and top with grooved corners, height 29cms.* Biography Samuel Marti was one of the most prolific French makers of the 1800s and was known to be working circa 1860 at Le Pays de Montbeliard, Paris making roulant blancs. Along with Japy Freres and Roux they set up a business in 1863 to market their movements to such firms as L'Epee. Their Paris address was Rue Vieille-du-Temple from 1870.

Felix Sandoz, London, a bronze and marble fusee mantel clock: the eight-day duration, double-fusee movement striking the hours on a bell, the round white enamel dial having black Arabic numerals, blued steel hands and signed by the maker Felix Sandoz, London, sitting between two black marble pillars with flat ormolu urns to the top and surmounted by an ormolu eagle on a further black marble plinth, the base of white marble with an ormolu frieze set to the front depicting classical figures with the whole standing on decorative ormolu feet, height 41cms.*Biography Felix Sandoz is recorded as working in London in circa 1800 and may well have been the maker of the same name who originated from Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland sometime after 1758, where the large family were well-known clockmakers, including his grandfather David who made a clock which he gave to the town.
An arts and crafts enamelled gold pendant necklace: in the style of Phoebe Anne Traquir with central polychrome enamel panel 20mm long depicting a young woman the reverse with 'MC to BC' and mounted within a gold frame of floral motifs with green enamel panel below and suspending a single pear-shaped opal drop, the pendant with opal drop 70mm long overall, suspended from a necklace interspersed with opal mounted links, 12.5gms gross weight.

Victorian Derbyshire Regiment Sherwood Foresters Volunteers Officers Glengarry Badge, fine two piece example with silvered Maltese cross having small crown to the top arm and the centre having wreath and stag set upon blue enamel backing, with title scrolls off the wreath. Two lug fittings to the reverse of the badge.
Victorian 3rd Volunteer Battalion Bedfordshire Regiment Officers Home Service Helmet, good untouched example of the blue cloth covered cork home service pattern helmet with silvered and enamel centred regimental helmet plate with lower scroll having volunteer battalion details, velvet backed white metal linked chin scales, white metal rosettes to the side, cross base with rose fittings and spike fitting. Helmet is complete with the original leather sweatband and Hobson & Sons makers tab to the top of the interior. Good patina to the white metal fittings. Some very light areas of moth tracking to the cloth of the helmet.
Queens Bodyguard of Scotland Royal Company of Archers Full Uniform, Headdress and Sword Grouping Contained in the Original Metal Storage Trunk, the grouping consists of the long pattern green cloth tunic with gauntlet cuffs and shoulder wings. Trimmed with black braid and crimson velvet, four bars of black braid across the chest, showing a light crimson velvet. Black braid and crimson velvet also to the collar. Crimson silk shoulder cords with gilt metal button. Fine quality sash with large badge in fine gilt metal to the centre and a lower sash badge in gilt and enamel retaining nearly all the original fire gilt finish; Evening dress tail coat in dark green cloth with green velvet collar. Green silk cloth lining t the interior. Three gilt metal tunic buttons to the front, waist band and tail skirt; Royal Company of Archers cape in green cloth with collar. Bands to the inside to fasten the cape down. Cape lined at the shoulders with green Italian cloth. Gilt metal special pattern cape chains and large gilt metal buttons; Trousers of green cloth with black braid and crimson velvet stripes; 2x variations of the full dress bonnets in green cloth with black braid trim. Crimson tuft to each bonnet. White and green silk cockades with fine gilt metal bonnet badges which retain nearly all of the original fire gilt wash finish. One bonnet with the original eagle feather. One bonnet is stiff type and the other is more like a beret; Black leather belt with sword frog and gilt metal Royal crest plate, the circlet inscribed “Queens Bodyguard for Scotland”; Parade pattern short sword made by Wilkinson sword, ornate gilt metal hilt, acid etched blade with EIIR cipher. Much of the original polish remains to the blade. Housed in the original leather and brass mounted scabbard. Accompanied by other items of accoutrements and housed in the original metal transit trunk with brass name plate engraved “P D GILMOUR ESQ”. A truly fantastic condition set which shows very minimal wear. Please note we are not able to offer in house post and packing on this item due to weight and size
Scarce Hanoverian Jager Battalion Nr 10 Officers Shako / Helmet Plate, starburst plate with the centre having painted enamel centre, lower two part scroll with battle honours “PENINSULA, WATERLOO, VENTA DEL POZZO”. One of the two loop fittings remains to the helmet plate. The Prussian Hannoversches Jäger-Batallion Nr. 10 was formed in 1866 when Prussia annexed the Kingdom of Hanover and absorbed their army, though their official date of formation was 1803 as the light infantry of the Hanoverian Army. They traced their history further back to service under the British crown, most notably at the Siege of Gibraltar in 1779-83, then later at Venta Del Pozo in 1812 during the Peninsular Campaign and at the Battle of Waterloo in 1815. Later as light infantry it had been part of the Hanoverian army that defeated the Prussians at the Battle of Langensalza in 1866. As the new Prussian 10th Jäger Battalion they saw action in the Franco-Prussian War, including the Battles of Mars la Tour and Gravelotte-St. Privat. In 1914 it was garrisoned at Goslar and formed part of the X Army Corps with which it fought during the opening campaign of the First World War on the Western Front. In 1915 they were transferred to the Alpine Corps, seeing action in Italy, Serbia, Romania and again on the Western Front.
Third Reich NSFK Flyers Dagger, being the early type with nickel silver top pommel, cross guard with black enamel swastika and scabbard mounts. The scabbard and handle have been re-covered in blue vinyl. Double edged blade with SMF makers trade mark. Blade has been shortened, measuring 16 cms, overall 33 cms. Ideal for parts or restoration.
WW2 Third Reich Hitler Youth Boys Transitional Dagger by Robert Klaas Solingen, fine example with black chequered grips and enamel HJ diamond insignia. Housed in its original scabbard with leather belt loop fitting. Plain blade stamped with makers trade mark for Robert Klaas, Solingen and the reverse side stamped with RZM M7/37 1938. Blade remains in generally good condition and measures 13 ½ cms, overall 26cms. Generally a good example.
Third Reich Transitional RZM SA Dress Dagger by J A Henckels, brown wooden grip with eagle and enamel SA device set within grip. Plated cross guard and top fitting, small crack to top fitting. Housed in its original scabbard with plated top and lower mounts. Double edged blade with motto, “Alles fur Deutschland” and reverse with makers trade mark for J A Henckels Zweillingswerk Solingen and RZM M7/10 1938. Some surface staining to the blade. The blade measures 21 ¾ cms, overall 37 cms.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by WKC (RZM), fine example of an RZM quality SA dress dagger with wooden gip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device. Plated cross guard and top mount. Housed in its brown painted scabbard with plated top mount and lower chape. Good condition double edged blade with motto to the centre, “Alles fur Deutschland”, revere of the blade having RZM makers trade mark RZM M7/42 for the maker WKC. Blade measures 22cms, overall 37 cms.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger by David Malsch Steinbach (RZM), good untouched example of a typical RZM quality SA dress dagger. Brown wooden handle with aluminium eagle and enamel SA device. Plated top and lower mounts. Housed in its original scabbard with nickel plated mounts. Double edged blade with motto “Alles fur Deutschland” and the reverse having RZM makers logo RZM M 7/70 which was the RZM code for David Malsch, Steinbach. Blade measures 22cms, overall 37 ½ cms.
Third Reich NSKK Dress Dagger, being an example which is useful for parts, wooden handle has the enamel top emblem removed and nickel silver eagle de-nazified. Cross guard, top mount and top screw fitting remain in good condition. Anodised early scabbard with single hanging ring to the top mount. Double edged blade which has had the motto removed. Accompanied by three original SA / NSKK dagger blades, one with remains of Ernst Rohm inscription. Blades worn and polished. (4 items)
Third Reich German Cross in Gold (Deutsche Kreuz) Six Rivet Variation by Deschler & Sohn, fine example of the silvered eight pointed star with darkened star, red enamel circle with gilt overlay having 1941 date and enamel swastika set upon silvered centre. Reverse of the award with six domed rivets. Original hinge mounted onto plate, un-marked pin and catch fixing. Some tarnishing to the centre and small chip to the enamel swastika. Reverse set up typical of six rivet examples made by this maker.
