J. J. Warmington, RAF, with his two 'dog tags', two cap badges, enamelled 'sweetheart' brooch, some enamel missing, six buttons and brooch bar, Medals mainly extremely fine and other items mainly good condition, unless stated (25 items)
GWR mahogany cased signalbox, cow-bell style Block Bell. Originated from the Shawford Junction area off the Didcot, Newbury and Southampton Junction Railway. Extremely good condition throughout. Together with a wooden cased signal box telephone also from Shawford Junction area. Bakelite and brass horn type mouthpiece and a bakelite single earpiece. Fitted with a small enamel plate next to the faceplate switch that reads: "challenge before calling". Excellent, ex box condition.
LNER enamel Lamp Tablet ALNWICK, F/F in cream with chocolate lettering. Ex NER station, built in 1887 on quite a grand scale for such a small place. It was sited on the branch from Alnmouth and remained open until January 1968. Measures approximately 16" x 5" and apart from centre top damage encroaching into the cream a little, it is in very good condition.
GWR Brass drum clock No 2456, with enamel dial showing the suppliers name J.M.Skarratt & Cie Paris GWR. The number is hand engraved into the case and this indicates one of the very early batches of this type of clock. A very rare drum clock due to the earlier suppliers name, in good working condition.
Enamel Advertising Sign 'Wills Gold Flake Cigarettes Sold Here - 10 for 3d - In Packets Only'. Pictorial showing central packet in red, black and yellow with an overall blue ground with yellow script. Measures 18" x 36" and is in exceptional condition with deep colour and shine and minimal chipping around the edge and one tiny area of restoration bottom left of picture.
