A LATE 18TH CENTURY PORTRAIT MINIATURE depicting a young girl wearing a bonnet, indistinctly signed and dated 1794, within a yellow metal surround, under glass, the reverse with central glazed oval panel enclosing platted hair in a cobalt enamel border. 7.5cm(h) x 5cm(w) Knock to surround, but generally good.
A FRENCH BRASS FIVE-GLASS CARRIAGE CLOCK having a swing handle and oval bevelled glass aperture exposing the platform escapement, the four rectangular bevelled glass panels enclosing the white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic seconds to the chapter ring with the name J Bennett, also a subsidiary seconds dial, the reverse with striking movement. 13.5cm(h) Crack to top glass panel, small chips to all but the fronts glass, some wear to dial.
A GILT BRASS AND CHAMPLEVE ENAMEL MANTEL CLOCK AND GARNITURES having an arched top with moulded detail and an enamelled crest, the circular dial with Arabic hours and filigree centre, all between enamelled columns, on a shaped plinth base, the striking movement marked ~5377 4.8~ also scratched ~GHN 1968~. 28cm(h); flanked by two vase or urn form garnitures with egg and dart rims, scroll handles and enamelled motif, on a moulded socle and stepped square base. 20cm(h) Wear to gilt finish throughout, marks and scratches etc, viewing advised.
A GEORGE III ENAMELLED PATCH BOX of oval form, the hinged cover printed in black with central military motif and inscription ~May British valour conquests gain and make our foes our friends again~ internal mirror, the moulded base decorated with flowers and bands. 2.3cm(h) x 4cm(w) x 3cm(d) Hairlines and slight staining to top, mirror heavily spotted, the base section with cracks and enamel losses.

W.HODDER 1928~. marked 375, Fattorini and Sons, ring suspension. 2.8cm(d) 18grams. Some marks, scratches and edge knocks, slight imperfections to enamel but intact.

Winter, Royal Field Artillery (later Royal Artillery), silver and enamel wrestling medallion, silver police tag to H.W. Winter Police Station, Carnforth N.T.R.B173/3 with various other medals and medallions. Small edge knocks to medals, small enamel loss on wrestling medal. Viewing advised.
A PAIR OF LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE JAPANESE ARITA IMARI FLOOR VASES Meiji period, of baluster form with flared and ruffled rim over a band of circular motifs, the neck and body decorated in polychrome enamels with panels of figures, members of the high samurai on horseback and chrysanthemum rich landscapes, all against the iron-red ground with gilt foliate embellishment, painted (Kanji) six character marks to base. 109cm(h) Each vase with stapled/riveted repairs to flared rims, enamel losses to decoration also, viewing advised.
A Chinese cloisonné enamel moonflask vase, mark of Qianlong but 20th Century, each side inset with a celadon jade oval panel, probably 18th Century, each pierced and carved with a bird amongst lotus, the enamel body, flared neck and foot decorated with Buddhistic emblems on a turquoise ground, flanked by a pair of gilt metal elephant mask and loose jade ring handles, incised pseudo four character mark to base, height approx 31.5cm.
A Japanese cloisonné enamel jar and cover, Meiji period, possibly from the Namikawa Studio, the swollen octagonal body finely worked with eight blue ground panels filled with different birds amongst flowers and blossom, the pale brown borders filled with vari-coloured foliate mon and silver wire scrolling tendrils, on four short feet, unsigned, height approx 23cm (some faults and repairs). Note: this jar and cover is accompanied by a handwritten note inscribed `The cloisonné vase gained the national prize in 1890, it was fired 14 June and has no flaw, no crack in it`, dated 3/3/37.
