A sterling silver and enamel propelling combination pen and pencil, in box; together with a Yard o'Led propelling pencil, in original box; another sterling silver propelling pencil; and a set of four sterling silver propelling pencils each with playing card suit terminal. Condition Report: PROPELLING PEN Overall condition is good, however the casing does have a few minor dents. The nib does not fully retract. The enamel appears undamaged. Possible lid missing. Both other items appear in good order.
A silver and guilloche enamel decorated desk calendar on oak mount CONDITION REPORTS Some general wear and slight rubbing throughout, some scrathes to the wooden base. Paper calendar is browned but is all present, some creases to corners and on one of the months the numbers 7 to one and the 3 on the other have almost disappeared. All cards have folds to corners and edges. Back hinge has two screws missing and the back cover is slightly loose and needs refixing. The paper in the calendar is changed manually, and the two knobs to the top do not appear to function or activate anything.
An Arts and Crafts style silver bowl (Birmingham, 1908), together with a silver mounted hand mirror, a silver napkin ring, a rectangular photograph frame stamped "Sterling Silver" to top and a pair of enamel decorated white metal mounted photograph frames CONDITION REPORTS The bowl has some mis-shaping and dents, diameter approx 10.5cm. The enamelled frames have some wear, knocks, scuffs and some mis-shaping. The oval mirror has deterioration to mirror plate and some wear and scuffs. Napkin ring with wear and scratches and is initialled GAC, marks are rubbed. Rectangular photo frame - general wear, scuffs and a few small knocks and bumps, approx 16.5 x 10.5cm.
An 18ct cased Verge watch. The back plate signed F. Hancock, Manchester No. 1975. The enamel dial with Roman numerals. The case back engraved inside with inscription. Hallmarked Sheffield 1911. 52mm diam. Case weight 46.3grams. C.R. Movement not running but fusee chain appears intact. Dial and movement hinge lacking pin. Glass lens lacking.
A silver cased half hunter pocket watch; and a Rotary silver wristwatch on plated expanding bracelet. Condition Report: Half hunter case quite badly rubbed/scratched due to use, minor damage to blue enamel with some loss, several small cracks to dial, winds and ticks. Wristwatch has engine turned silvered dial which is discoloured, case has wear and tear commensurate with age, does not wind, blue winged wheel mark to movement, strap replaced.
