A Canton Vase, first half of the 19th century, well painted and gilt with a warrior on horseback and other figures, a maiden at a well or an audience scene, on a ground of flowers and butterflies, the shoulders with chihlong, unusually moulded with red and gold lingzhi at the mouth, pierced for electricity, 43.5cm CONDITION REPORT: Gilt and enamel wear throughout.

Some minor enamel losses.
Chinese famille rose, 18th century, a tall Beaker with fowl, Yongzheng; another with fan-tail fish; a Coffee Cup with delicate flowers; a marriage Tea Bowl and Saucer with cupids holding initials WAJ; a Saucer with underglaze blue figures; and two eggshell Saucers with a tiger and eagle, Kangxi, all with some damage (8) CONDITION REPORT: FAN-TAIL FISH BEAKER - chips and fritting to the rim, chip to rim interior, 3cm fine hairline crack. FOWL BEAKER - hairline crack top to bottom and a further inverted T shape hairline crack. TEA BOWL - light gilt rubbing. SAUCER - two pieces loose and rim chips, gilding to monogram rubbed. EGGSHELL SAUCERS - both with restoration (one restored section loose), both with hairline cracks and rubbed gilding. SAUCER IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE - three hairline cracks, some enamel losses to flowers, two sections restored.
A pair of Chinese porcelain famille rose, lotus-petal Saucer Dishes, Qianlong (1736-1795), painted in bright enamels with lotus and peonies, and a pair of famille rose octagonal Plates, also Qianlong, painted with flowering peony branches in a leaf-shaped panel on a ground of fruit panels enclosing flowers, 23cm (4) CONDITION REPORT: PETAL-SHAPED DISHES - one with six rim chips, a 4cm hairline crack; second dish with eight rim chips, 3cm hairline crack. OCTAGONAL PLATES - one with four rim chips, some small enamel losses and some fritting, rim gilding 99% missing; second plate, rim gilding 99% missing, five small rim chips, a small amount of enamel loss.
A Teapot and Cover and Bowl, c.1865, each piece painted in a mandarin palette, with figures at various pursuits, bowl 14cm (3) CONDITION REPORT: Teapot - 50% gilt rubbing to lid knop, gilt rubbed to spout, otherwise no obvious faults. Bowl - a fine 'y' shaped crack to base, some enamel rubbed.
Four Yixing Teapots and Covers, second half of the 19th century, variously potted, one enamelled, stamped marks, one small chip to lid (8) CONDITION REPORT: Arch form teapot with small chip to handle. Bamboo form teapot with small chip to top of lid and chip to interior of lid. Square form teapot, tiny chips to spout interior, rim of lid broken and glued. Enamel teapot with a tiny chip to top rim of body.
An unusual celadon-ground Vase, Jiaqing, late 18th century, enamelled in bright colours with the Eight Daoist Immortals and other figures floating on clouds above the sea, a rocky landscape behind, the neck and shoulder with a high relief iron-red chilong, enclosing the rare depiction of a European trading ship, cut down and drilled, 30.5cm CONDITION REPORT: Reduced in height, converted to a lamp. Small enamel flakes. Two drill holes.

Small chips to foot rim. Glazing missing to left hand side elephant trunk handle. Small section missing to opposite elephant trunk handle. Second vase, small amount of glaze missing to elephant trunk handle. Small amount of enamel decoration missing to foot rim. A crack to base.

A Louis XIV ormolu and gilt metal mantel clock with a 17cm dial, with an enamel plaque signed Gaudron, with twelve piece enamel cartouche dial, hands possibly later, with an outer seconds ring, the dial engraved with scrolling leaves and flowers, rectangular 2 train barrel movement signed Gaudron, Paris with vase shaped pillars, the movement with a vertical hammer striking on a bell, numbered count wheel mounted on the right of the back plate, the straight sided case surmounted with a bird with outstretched wings, the inverted bell top pierced with leaves, flambeau finials, above wing masks, and a baluster frieze terminating with a caryatid one side panel glazed, the other panel lacking, raised upon three front wind and mask supports, rear toupie feet, with a pendulum, 40x21.5cmx12cm (illustrated) NB: Antoine Gaudron is recorded in Baille 'Watchmaners and Clockmaker of the World' as working from circa 1675. We would strongly advise prospective purchasers to view this lot in person or request a condition report and further images.
19th CENTURY FRENCH DORE BRONZE WALL CLOCK Antique French gilded bronze wall clock. Has ivory enamel face with black Roman numerals and red pitchforks. Bronze tone hour and minute hands. Scrolled design throughout with flowers and leaves. Figural cherub heads to sides of bottom. Top center having figural roaring lion`s head with flaming urn atop. Mechanical movement marked 257 4 4 91. Measures 23" height x 10 3/4" width (58.4cm x 27.3cm).
19th C VIENNA STYLE HUTCHENRUETHER PORTRAIT PLATE A fabulous antique Hutchenruether German porcelain hand painted Vienna style portrait plaque depicting two young beauties staring off in the distance and appear to be swooned with feelings of love. Titled in red to verso `Amors Angriff` (Cupid Attack). Magnificent and intricate gold painted border over green ground with turquoise enamel beading. Impressed crown over shield under glaze mark, decorator`s iron-red over glaze beehive mark with 9029 pattern number and `Germany.`. Also holds impressed 24. Circa 19th century. Mounted in gilded wood frame. Plate measures approx. 9 3/4" diameter (24.7cm). Overall with frame 16 3/4" height x 16 3/4" width (42.5cm x 42.5cm). Total weight of 2638 grams.
